I have been a long time customer, really since they opened. Periodic lunches and the traditional holiday pie. The new ownership has modernized the interior and continues to deliver a quality lunch experience. The baking however has become a weakness. The holiday pie this year was pecan. Unfortunately, it was not edible. It was so caramelized and over baked the my sharpest knife could not begin to cut it. We broke it apart and threw it out. (2 stars because it was my first time here and I haven't had the chance to try their ice cream/other desserts) but I just had the most horrible grilled cheese :( I spent $16!!!! on the apple & bacon grilled cheese for the employee to say they didn't have any apples after I had already paid for it (I added arugula) but when I opened up the sandwich the sourdough bread was stale and wasn't even toasted. Great location with potential, but lots of missed details and letdowns. Sandwich bread was stale, ice cream cones were stale, multiple things out of stock, one of the ice cream freezers is broken (so limited flavors), no paper towel in the bathroom, etc. The place needs a coat of paint and a face lift as well. Ownership should spend some time tightening up some of the details and this place would be great. Right now, it's clear this place isn't being well maintained. Bomb dot Com! We were in the area a while back, and the kids wanted to get Ice Cream and a bite to eat, low and behold we found a two for one. They have great sandwiches and ice cream. Though at the time they were a bit understaffed, and some of the items took a serious amount of time to get... Like 20+minutes. We waited though, and were patient and they apologized for the delay. In the end all of it was worth the wait, and everyone enjoyed what we had ordered. If in the area we would certainly stop by again. LOCAL SUPPORT SUNDAY! Eats and Sweets can fill a sweet tooth craving with the one option I have tried! That is...drumroll... BANANA BREAD ICE CREAM SANDWICH. Why did I have to hear it from them to know this was a thing? This bakery brought a whole new meaning to dessert to me. I'm not a huge "Cookie Ice Cream" sandwich type of gal, so Eats and Sweets hit the nail on this one. I actually tried Eats & Sweets as their "Food Truck" at Rayback Collective. It was such a cute food truck and it caught my eye instantly. They did have two options for ice cream and it was either vanilla or chocolate, pretty basic. My fiancé and I decided to share one and it was $8, which I originally thought was pretty high. It turned out $8 would fill both of us up and leave a little extra for later, so I call that a good bang for your buck. Let's be honest to pull this dessert apart to really tell if it's good is that each component is delicious on its own and better together. The vanilla ice cream was creamy, slightly melting which was needed to bite through the sandwich and a cold delicious treat on its own. The banana bread by itself was, okay. I won't say it was amazing and fantastic, but it was decent. The only thing I wished for was a thicker banana bread. Once I tried it altogether, it was almost missing that banana bread flavor. I still gave 4 stars because it was a decent price and delicious dessert as a whole. Since it was melty, it wasn't really picture worthy, but what I did do during this COVID time was create my own at home and I took a picture of the bread to ice cream ratio I would've wanted. We love how kid friendly eats and sweets is and it is in walking distance of the WOW museum and has outdoor seating as well. Our kiddos love the kids meal which comes with a small scoop of ice cream. I'd like to preface this message by saying I love coming to this store for their cheesecake and carrot cake. I am leaving a three star review instead of 4 because I quite honestly had the most bizarre and rude customer service experience of my life tonight at this location. At about 8:30pm (they typically close at 9:00pm) I was walking up to the front door to snag a few pieces of cheesecake before closing. As usual an employee was unloading the food truck from the day and the door was slightly open. As I walked up to the door a young woman, an employee, was also about to walk in the front door. We made eye contact and acknowledged each other, I smiled at her, and as I was about to follow her in, with my arm and hand extended to catch the door after her, she quickly spun inside and slammed the door right in my face. After a brief moment of utter confusion I read the printed sign on the door that they were closing a bit early to prep for a special event - totally fair. I cannot understand how this young woman thought it was a better choice to slam the door in my face and let me read the sign than to briefly explain they needed to close a few minutes early for a completely legitimate reason. I almost wanted to knock on the door and ask this person why she slammed the door in my face but it seems obvious I would not have gotten a mature response. I will be back for more cheesecake but I hope you guys can figure stuff like this out. read more

Not what I would expect for chicken salad from a deli. I can get canned chicken and add mayo. Yuck! Menu picture showed chunks of chicken. Like you would expect. Ordered and paid online. Showed up at the posted pick up time. Was not ready. They did not even have my order. They finally found it and made the order. This place used to be good. The cake was stellar--lemon poppy seed with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting--wow it was delicious. It was a well flavored & dense cake. The filling was just the right amount of sweetness. They also provided sandwiches, wraps, veggie tray and fruit bowl. Everyone loved it. The food was fresh and beautifully displayed. Many of the guests want to know who did the catering. They were really impressed with the food and cake as well. I'll definitely use Eats and Sweets again. It is great having such great service and food right in my home town. Worst customer service ever by spoiled apathetic young kids. Pie crusts are flavorless and tough/not flaky, and way too much sugar in fillings.
