After fighting with Door Dash they advised me to call Firehouse, I called and the girl stated that the order was correct and that the person who order i had came in and got theirs. So I asked what about my order she stated that I would have to come in and pick it up if i wanted it. I'm a disabled Vet and I don't always get around so good, its one of the reasons I use delivery services. So not only did Door Dash blame Firehouse; Firehouse blamed Door Dash and I get left in the cold with no lunch and no service. I have a very soft spot in my heart for Firehouse's mission and brisket sandwiches. The dozens of hot sauces available in addition to the high tech soda fountain also add to my experience. Over this past weekend after driving many a mile I was happy to report to Firehouse for the often dreamed about Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sandwich.The staff though new (I suspect as they were being assisted at the register) was very thorough and friendly. My companion made it a bit hard for them by choosing every possible veggie topping but they stayed calm and professional. My companion and I enjoyed perusing and selecting hot sauces for each other to try/enjoy. I went right for the 10-10+ hot sauces (100% pain is a goodie) of course and they tried them all happily. Both of our sandwiches came out at the same time and were brought to our table by the friendly staff. I inquired about the sauce on my sandwich (I was curious if it was the same Firehouse sauce located in a bottle with the other hot sauces) and they confirmed it was only behind the counter - at which point they indicated they would be happy to get me a side of it. I will definitely be back to Firehouse soon. I'm subscribed to their email list and am happy to receive coupons and information regarding promotions quite frequently (this past summer they awarded a free sub to those that brought in a case of water). read more

Ordered a New York Steamer ... one half of the sandwich was a slab of fat off the corned beef. No meat at all, just fat. The extras I ordered were one small piece each for the entire sandwich. UPDATE! I am adding to this review that the owner, Thad, called me this morning. He was very attentive in listening to what happened and my concerns about how I had been treated. I had the worst experience today with Firehouse Subs on South Boulder Road, Store 1097. I called the store because I couldn't get there online application to work. I asked if they had curbside pickup which I need for various reasons. The girl who took my order said that would be fine, and to call once I got there. Once I got there I called and a manager named Jeff picked up. I told him I there to pick up my order and he said it was sitting on the counter for me. I told him I requested curbside pickup. He said rudely that coming outside with the food would put him within 6 ft of me. I asked him nicely if he would bring the food out and put it on the table in front of my car and then I would come and pick it up. He said he would bring it out and then said "next time come in". When I got home we opened our sandwiches and they were the wrong sandwich. I called back and said I think I got the wrong sandwiches and the gentleman named Trevor told me I got the right sandwiches. Turns out that I did not get the right sandwiches. Trevor had just as much of an attitude as a manager Jeff did. After some pushing I finally got the owner of the store's name. I've called him and I've yet to hear back. I do not recommend ever going to the store. If they get your order wrong you get a "There's nothing we can do for you" answer to the problem with ZERO accountability. We were actually told it was OUR fault for not checking the order. New location! So glad to see this one so close to where I live. I've tried to go to the Firehouse Subs in Boulder, but it's impossible to find parking. Typical setup for this restaurant, but they've still got some kinks to work out, particularly speed of sandwich making, remembering who ordered what, and making themselves heard over the machinery. The two exterior walls of windows will turn this place into a sauna in the summertime. Be sure to check out their fancy custom flavoring soda machine! Also, their web site. They have a detailed allergy menu that you can customize to your needs. Looks pretty peanut safe to me! I like their subs, but they're messy and on the small side for the price. Absolutely love firehouse subs! Pretty sure this is the best, cleanest and most friendly staff in the greater Denver area. I'd highly recommend the hook n ladder sub or the BBQ brisket sub. My experience with this shop was excellent. I did a catering order for 12 people and they accomplished it with short notice. While some chips were forgotten, the manager delivered them to me since I had to set up for my event. I've used them in the past and will happily use them again. Love the subs. Today was slowest service I have had but they were very busy. One thing I want to point out is a young man named Tristan was awesome. We watched him while we were waiting. He genuinely welcomed every customer and seemed to sincerely enjoy serving people their food. Not all of the customers responded or even listened but it never phased him. Totally disappointed in their customer service! This was the go to sandwich place for my husband and I until last night. We always come in and order our sandwiches to go, the customer service was always lacking, but we overlooked it because the sandwiches are good. Last night they called out my husbands name and handed us our bag of sandwiches, we didn't realize they gave us the wrong sandwiches until we got home. We called them to let them know we were headed back to get our sandwiches in 16 degree weather and asked if theres anything they could do for us. They said no, and when we came in to get our food that we payed for, not only were they unapologetic, but they blamed us. Instead of owning their mistake, they said they called out a different name, and said "I guess we should double check TOO". I mean people get fucked at the drive thru, but we came in ordered and we both heard them call out my husbands name. And its now my job to make sure to double check their job to get it right. My family has been to this restaurant in Ft. Collins and RAVED about it, so I was excited to try it. We are a law enforcement family, so happy to support the cause. This location was not the same experience. The restaurant was very dirty with half the tables open, but all very dirty; food on the floor everywhere; bathroom had no paper towels. During the order, the clerk told our 11 year old who was ordering a small that they were very small, so she ordered a medium. It was way too large, so she ate half of it. I saw the small size and it was much larger than the clerk portrayed. They only had "small or large cups", so we got small but I am pretty sure the combo we paid for came with medium cups. The only reason for two stars is because the subs tasted good. Not worth the $42 for three medium sandwich combos and one large combo (with small drinks of course)! read more

Why the heck would anyone eat here? If you compare the size of their subs to Subway you have to pay much more and get much less! It's a ripp off and they are slow as can be! I goto Subway and pay about $6 for a big sub takes them about 3 min to make and wrap. I goto Firehouse and it takes them 10 minutes and costs about $9 for a SMALLER sub! Seriously? I would never go back. Oh and it's atmosphere is cold and sterile like a garage. Oh and they have like 6 people working and it still takes them 10 min to make a sub. Subway has 2-3 people working. Firehouse subs are decent but pricey. Unfortunately there is a lack of good sub shops in CO. Lots of mediocre restaurant chains and service. I've been to this location as well as a few others and the quality has been consistent so kudos.
