I eventually gathered my belongings and left the premises. During the interaction, I expressed my belief that the treatment I received was discriminatory. Officer Smith responded dismissively, suggesting that I should sue. I felt that this response was unprofessional and indicative of a broader issue with the police department's handling of customer complaints. I am seeking a refund of $25.00 and a formal apology from McDonald's regarding this incident. I also hope that the Englewood Police Department will take steps to address the unacceptable behavior of its officers.
