    Big Fat Snarf Sandwich. "NOT-ON-THE-MENU"
    Joce B.

Snarf's Sandwiches truly delivers with the Big Fat Snarf a deli lover's dream. I went with the half corned beef, half pastrami combo, and it was a flavor bomb from the first bite. The meat was stacked thick, juicy, and tender, perfectly complemented by the melted Swiss cheese. The mayo and mustard added just the right zing, while crisp lettuce and tangy pickles brought balance. The bread held it all together beautifully without getting soggy. This sandwich was absolutely delicious

I ordered a sandwich that cost me $24 and received what looks like the idea of a sandwich. The Snarfs in downtown Denver are much more generous with their toppings. Won't be returning, waste of money.

Not much on the vegetarian. I requested all condiments that are included, didn't get it.

When we first moved here, these sandwiches were amazing (8 years ago). They have since declined. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich, the 12", and asked for extra hot peppers. The sandwich had zero peppers. $15 plus tip and I get a super subpar sandwich. I'm sadly disappointed.

Egg Salad & American Cheese (7"/$10.50)- 1.5/5 stars. They forgot the egg salad entirely!

My friend had been wanting to try Snarf's Sandwiches, and we finally had the opportunity the last time I was in Denver. Unfortunately, it seems like we came on a very off day. After ordering in person around 7:45pm on a Thursday, it took forever for them to make our sandwiches (at least 15 minutes). We tried: -Italian Sandwich (Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola, Mortadella & Provolone Cheese, 7"/$10.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=CPaEtpxFzpsUTZ338yVhrw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Good, but nothing special. We had ordered this one white bread, but they gave us wheat. There was a good amount of cold cuts; however, this sandwich was salty overall. -Egg Salad & American Cheese (7"/$10.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Sdv_Te3-EchHzzTiGOxl6A&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): This was completely missing the egg salad! Even though they repeated the order a couple of times, they somehow missed the primary ingredient in an egg salad sandwich. Based on this experience, I don't think we'll be back.

Thanks to the Google Maps community for leading us to this place. We love a good pastrami sandwich, and for us, no one tops Togo's, but this place gave Togo's a run for the money only reason for us Togo's is number one is due to they serve the pastrami steamed. Snarfs does give something that Togo's doesn't, and that's their pepper picking concoction. That stuff set it apart from other sandwiches that we've had. They also smash and toast their sandwiches so that the bread has a delicious crunch. Their big pickle was big, fresh, crisp, and delicious. The only thing I felt was negative about this place was the price of their chips. A 1.5 oz bag of chips was $2.10. I thought that was way overpriced for a small bag of chips. On the other hand, their drinks are decently priced compared to a lot of places. Their menu isn't overly complicated, but it does offer some good-looking vegetarian items. Overall, this is definitely a come back place. Way to go, Snarfs.

    Menu

There was a extensive menu with a good variety of food selections. The customer service was ok and the food was ok nothing special. I definitely think the food was a little over priced. I got the Italian sandwich and again it was ok nothing to great.

French Dip Sandwich (au jus not pictured)
    Roxy V.

I've heard a lot of hype and had to find out for myself. I ordered the French dip sandwich with added onions and my husband got the meatball parm. It was a Sunday about noon with a steady flow of people picking up orders or arriving to place them. It took twenty minutes to receive ours which seems long for a sandwich but I'm not sure how flooded they were with online orders. Now to the food: French dip- 4 stars. The bread is DELICIOUS. Good amount of meat. The au jus had really good flavor but was super salty. Not watered down like most au jus so that was definitely appreciated! Meatball parm- 3 stars. I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it ever again but it was ok.

I've been here many times in a variety of ways--sat at the bar, at tables with friends and by myself, both inside and outside, and even experienced the large farm table prix fixe menu, which was fantastic. My experiences have consistently been great--the food, service, and atmosphere have always been top-notch. Tonight, however, was my first disappointing visit. I ordered the root vegetable bruschetta, which was very good. I also ordered the butternut squash penne pasta, a dish I've had before and really enjoyed. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely spicy. I'm not sure if the recipe has changed or if it was just a heavy hand in the kitchen, but it was not something I could eat. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't have an answer, so I simply asked for a to-go container. Since I couldn't eat it, I later gave the container to a homeless woman sitting nearby with her grocery cart. On my way out, I spoke with someone at the door who brought over the manager. The manager asked if he could see the dish, so I opened the container for him. He then asked if he could taste it and reached in, picked up a noodle, and tried it, saying he didn't notice anything unusual. He also wasn't aware of any changes to the recipe. I suggested that if the dish is now spicy, it might be helpful to note that on the menu so guests know what to expect. What left me disappointed wasn't just the dish itself, but how the situation was handled. There wasn't an offer to replace the meal or provide an alternative, which would have gone a long way. As someone who is only about six months into living in Colorado and a new business owner in the area, I often refer places I believe in. Tonight left me questioning whether I will continue to recommend Leaf based on how this was handled, though I'm hopeful that by tomorrow morning I may feel differently. That said, based on my many past positive experiences, I still believe Leaf is a great restaurant. I just hope this was an off night and that a little more attention is given to both consistency in the kitchen and how concerns are handled moving forward.

We'd already had dinner at home and stopped in for a drink and dessert. I mentioned this to the server, and from that point on the experience went downhill. I ordered a Happy Hour Cabernet Sauvignon, which was clearly about half the size of a regular glass. My husband ordered a ginger beer, but it tasted like sparkling water with syrup settled at the bottom, which he didn't notice until the end of the glass. My son's dessert was also priced $2 higher than what was listed on the menu. The service overall was incredibly lackluster. It was a disappointing experience at what has long been one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder.

The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!

Our bill for a Chicago dog, a pastrami sandwich and a Cuban sandwich with one order of fries and 3 drinks came to over $50 which is stupid pricey IMHO. There were at least 5 people working behind the counter and our order came out fairly fast. I felt the sandwiches were very skimpy on the meat and nothing came with a side included. The Cuban sandwich was underwhelming and not much flavor. If you want a wonderful deli sandwich go to The Bagel Deli off Hampden and I-25. The absolute best in my opinion.
