It's a pretty good cheesesteak sandwich. I'm used to real Philly cheesesteak sandwiches but these are not authentic but they are good.

I used to frequent this chain often when I lived in Texas and it tastes exactly as I remembered it. 5 stars for a quick thru!

A friend and I were hungry after shopping at Cabela's so we spotted Potbelly. I had been to a different Potbelly previously so I thought I would try a new location. This location has a drive through which is convenient in the difficult times. We placed our our and it was ready rather quickly. I ordered the club and my friend ordered the classic turkey sandwich. I asked for mayo and mustard and got no mustard and way too much mayo. My friend ordered no oil and got lots of oil. My sandwich was just ok nothing remarkable there are a few other sandwich shops that do it much better. Getting both orders wrong demonstrates a lack of caring about the quality of the product you are putting out. I won't be returning to this location. read more

I was torn between 3 & 4 stars. I was looking forward to a delicious sub. My food was good. I wouldn't qualify it as great. They did get my order correct, and (possibly because I was alone and went inside) it was ready instantly. Honestly, my favorite part of the experience was the salt and vinegar chips and - the icing on the cake - the blood orange San Pelligrino. I ordered a sandwich called "A Wreck" with Turkey, Ham & Italian meat in the original sized white bread. Turned out to be just a little larger than a hotdog roll (or a little smaller than a subway half?). Which was actually about right for my stomach, especially with the chips added in. We ordered delivery from this restaurant. We ordered a large sandwich, a salad, chips and a drink. The food was delivered in about the average amount of time. I had paid $3+ for extra avocado and didn't really see extra. This is a good size sandwich and there was no skimping on the ingredients, except mustard. What is it with these guys and mustard? When I first opened the sandwich, it looked like no mayonnaise, either, but it's like it was wrapped inside the bread, and the multi grain bread was VERY good. After eating my half of the sandwich, no room left for the salad, so that will be lunch tomorrow. A little more expensive than Subway, but it was actually pretty good. read more

I found this shop by chance, I was actually headed to their neighboring sandwich shop but they were not quite open so I decided to give Potbelly a try. They also had a drive-thru which seemed like a great option because I was in a hurry. I entered the drive-thru and they quickly took my order. Their menu doesn't really tell you what you are getting in terms of size which is rather unnerving but I ordered the "bigs" italian loaded with all the toppings. After visiting their website I got this rounded answer to what a "bigs" is "A BIGS is approximately 1/3 more bread, meat, cheese and toppings than an Original, and you can get any sandwich in a BIGS as long as you're in a market that carries the BIGS bread." conversely "SKINNY sandwiches are a lighter version of some of our famous Originals, so you get 1/3 less bread, meat and cheese than the Originals (and they make a good pairing with a side of soup). All SKINNY sandwiches are under 400 calories." and "Originals are the sandwich size we started with in 1977. They are available in all of our shops, and are what you see on all our menu boards." Anyway, I sat in my car in the drive-thru line about 10 minutes. By the time I got to the window I was really frustrated with myself because there were plenty of fast options in the area and I had to roll the dice here. Finally I get my sandwich and head out. The sandwich was good. Capicola, mortadella, pepperoni and salami with provolone cheese topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, mayo and Italian seasoning plus a handful of additional toppings on a toasted white. All in all, waiting for what seemed like forever to get a sandwich of unknown size was a hassle. I have eaten from the Potbelly on the 16th Street Mall. It was divine. This particular Potbelly was mediocre taste and less than stellar service. The Cuban was the sandwich I ate. It has pulled pork and smoked ham on it. When I bit into it, I was hoping for a well seasoned multi-dimensional taste. It just tasted like a ham sandwich with no seasoning. Even the mustard they put on this sandwich didn't bring the "bite," I was hoping for. Service was mediocre, as I mentioned. We were the only ones in the place and we didn't know the menu very well. The lady just stood there and asked what we wanted. We didn't know and she appeared to be becoming impatient with us. So, we were treated like a number to get through the door. I will go back, maybe. Great! Bread was homemade! They don't give you a whole lot of meat unless you ask for double or extra meat. It's almost like you get a 6 inch sandwich with 2 ounces of meat spread throughout the entire 6 inches. Otherwise everything was great! read more

We love Potbelly and have always visited this location, and received amazing service. We also have been to this location close to 10pm before, and never had an issue. Tonight the single male employee who was working at 9:45pm on Wednesday (05/26) decided to close early, lock the doors and turn on the automated message that the restaurant is closed. The door still says it closes at 10pm, the website says it, so does Google, etc. Therefore, the franchise owner or corporate should have a conversation with the employee that conducting business like this is going to negatively impact the restaurant. Never tried "potbelly" before and Firehouse was a really long line. That should've been the giveaway to wait in their line when I walked in and no one was there at 12:15 on a weekday. However, went ahead and ordered anyways. I got the "original" sized Italian, which there is no way to know what that is, but figured that's the norm at most places I go to. I'm really getting tired of trying to give this place a chance as the food is really not worth all the problems we have had with this place and the last 2 attempts have been complete nightmares!! Last time we put in a mobile order only for them to be closing within 10 minutes. We didn't find out til we got there 15 minutes after ordering and the restaurant was closed, all employees gone and no food. We came back next day and was told that they put the order on the table out front when they left. By the time we got there it was gone. They did remake the order then again, but when my husband went to leave with the sandwiches, an employee chased him down saying he didn't pay for the food. This time we put in an order 45 minutes before, came to pick up the food at the time we requested on app. And they had not started making them, we had 5 and had to wait another 20 minutes for our food to be made. I really think this is the last time. Sounds like they are having a problem with one of their coupons currently, as several people are upset over some small print wording. read more
