ows a receipt for a chicken

Customer service here is horrible! My daughter wanted lunch so I went to go through the drive through the line was super long so I figured I would just walk inside. I did make my order quickly but after that I had to stand in between a trash can walk way to a bathroom and DoorDash pick up station. I waited for 20 minutes for two chicken sandwich meals . After 20 minutes I finally got my order I was already irritated so I left quickly. When I got home my fries are cold my drinks where not the right drinks I ordered lemonade and Dr Pepper I got water and sprite. Oh and my fries look like crumbs! I've never had a bad experience at a Chick-fil-a but at this location I did .

Chick-fil-A Larkridge April 28th 2009
Riza H. C.

Tuesday April 28th 2009 : My very first visit at this Chick- fil-A at Larkridge. My friend and her daughter wanted to go here for our lunch before our visit to Costco. The place seems busy during the lunch hour and lots of mums or even dads comes along with their kids. Furthermore, this place has a PLAY HOUSE for the kids to run around, while the mums or the dads, take their bite or just chillin with other mums or dads who are at this fast food restaurant. Just connecting with other mums or dads, I guess. No wonder, my friend likes to bring her daughter here at least once a month, to meet other mums with their kids so as to network or get to know since she is part of the mummies group here or those who lives in Brighton, CO. To me, the food I ordered was just OK. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing or something. Anyways, I hope to return to Chick-fil-A one day with Hubs and order other things in the menu. I do hope my review might differ.

An act that goes above any expectations...

Today the Chick-fil-A in Larkridge went above and beyond anything I ever could've imagined. I had placed my order to pick up curbside and I was on my way to the restaurant when a truck sideswiped my vehicle. When I failed to show up to get my order the Chick-fil-A restaurant called and I explain the situation to them and that I was stuck in the parking lot a few streets down from them. The man (Terry) on the phone said not to worry about it and that I could come in at anytime to pick up a new order, and he hope that we are all alright. At this point the police had shown up and my five-year-old son (who had been in the car) was still frightened and hungry. About five minutes later a small silver car pulled up and out jumped a young girl in a Chick-fil-A uniform carrying my order. She told me that she hoped we were all ok and had added a gift card, a couple of cookies and a small note to my order. At this point I was in tears because of the unexpected kindness of a stranger and when I looked at her, she had tears running down her cheeks as well! I think sometimes with all the chaos in the news, we forget that there are still very kind people in the world, the kind that will go out of their way to help a stranger. (My order was only like $10). This was done out of pure kindness and love. I will be eating there even more than before.

I don't get it. Yes, the service is fine and friendly but the food? I'm just not impressed.

One of the better Chick-fil-A restaurants that I've been too. Service has the famous Chick-fil-A speed and the inside is clean.

First I will get to the creepiness and then what the food issue was. So I tell on this survey that I didn't enjoy my meal and the quality was almost up to fast food standards and I "choked down" my sandwich only because It was approaching $20 dollars. The "automated response" basically blamed me for not liking the food and "choking it down" and claims they wouldn't have charged me for it. That is a big coulda woulda right now and easy to say once I have paid for two of the driest overcooked philly cheesesteak sandwiches I can ever recall getting. My wife didn't enjoy hers either and hers was dry and overcooked too. Here is where things get creepy, the owner decided to send me an email on top of it. Right now I don't want to hear anything from you especially what you claim you would have done to make it right. Do you ever do spot checks on the quality of the food coming out of your kitchen? I am going to guess the answer is no. Don't worry, you won't have to make it right, I will by never coming back, You might want to consult someone about what is considered creepy when sending me a direct email. I suddenly feel the need to arm myself and have 911 on speed dial. Too creepy. The food, both my wife and I ordered Philly Cheese steak sandwiches. Only upside to these were that they didn't skimp on the meat. Down sides; Meat was overcooked and super dry, not much seasoning if any used on the meat, the onions and peppers were skimpy and the cheese was almost non-existent. If you are cool with paying nearly $20 for that and a handful of potato chips then go for it. What? you want something other than potato chips? Big upcharge! You like to have a couple of pickle slices with your sandwich? another upcharge. So the food was expensive but the quality sucked. Owner sends creepy messages to you. Only thing nice I can say about this place is that the waitress we had was very nice and gave good service. I already see that the owner of this place has found it necessary to harass me on this site. I have a screen shot of your comment and have reported you to Yelp. You are not just creepy but scary as well. The owner has taken to harassing me here for my comments, It's clear that he feels he is above reproach and doesn't think anyone has the right to criticize his business on a ratings platform. I did take another screenshot BTW and will keep it if needed further. Also I was not even going to review your business if it were not for your response to me sent to my personal email. I take that as also harassment. You should have taken the criticism as an alert that maybe your business is not performing very well and see what you can do to fix it instead of bordering on illegal harassment. I have never been harassed by a business for turning in an honest review. I would if I were you un-list your business from Yelp if you can't take criticism and I would also back off from harassing customers that didn't like their experience in your establishment. By the way, this is the U.S.A. and I have a right to state my opinion. You could have just reported my comment to Yelp instead of harassing me. You had the right to report my comment but you have no right to harass me about it. Yelp removed the owners previous comments. Sad this couldn't be a growing opportunity instead of the path that was chosen. It is all about attitude. I leave lots of good comments too and they are all well deserved just like the negative comments are also well deserved. I wasn't even going to post here but felt compelled after getting the personal email that was unsolicited. The owner of this business keeps trying to bully anyone who posts anything negative. Yelp just sent me an email that makes it sound like this business owner is accusing me of slander and that I have made statements accusing them of doing things outside of my own experience. I think he is slandering me and trying to bully me because he can't take criticism. I am shocked that Yelp is allowing this kind of bullying on their site. Bullying and attempting to intimidate people and attempting to force them to never say anything that you don't like does not look good to the public.

The ribs were good- served with a thin bbq sauce that was heavy on the pepper, most of the ribs were nice and meaty. The sweet potato fries were good as well- they serve Kensington ketchup, which is a little more peppery and has a different texture than the usual, I do recommend that over the honey mustard as a dipping sauce. The honey mustard was pretty heavy on the horseradish. My husband got the slider variety. The burger had a thousand island based sauce on it that made it a little different from the usual burger. The regular chicken sandwich had a lemony flavor to it. I preferred the hot chicken sandwich- the heat creeped up on you but it was good! Their chicken was super thick and juicy- probably my favorite part of the meal. The fry portions were huge. Service at the counter and at the table was very sweet and helpful. She even brought us some ketchup packets to take home so we could see what kind of ketchup they served. Loved the giant pickleballs in the stairwell- what a cute decor choice! We didn't get to play any games since it was snowing, but I would absolutely recommend this place for an event. I am definitely coming back for a newbie pickleball night!

We got the Birdhouse Flight to start--guac, five-cheese queso, and their birdhouse salsa (a tasty, mild tomatillo). Seriously, it's the best way to start your meal. For dinner, we all had ramen. I went for the Hellfire with extra bok choy. This ramen is no joke. If you want something spicy, this is it. The chili sauce, flakes, and oil really bring the heat. The kids got the Tonkotsu, which was amazing as usual--great broth and super tender meat. I had my spicy ramen with a Juicy Bits from WeldWerks, perfect combo. Seriously, it's some of the best ramen and service around North Denver. Whether it's for a special day or just a chilly night. Birdhouse is always good. I totally recommend it!

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

We also ordered the farmer's Benedict, which was very flavorful. The only thing I'd change is that it comes with sweet potatoes on the side and a sweet potato hash brown under the eggs, so it ends up being a lot of sweet potato. I've been wanting to check this spot out after visiting the equally fantastic Birdhouse close by. We came for brunch on a Sunday, and while they are busy, seating is readily available. First, I have to say that the drinks are fantastic. I got the 24 Carrot Magic, a tequila based drink made with carrot juice. It is perfectly balance and dang smooth. A really perfect drink for brunch. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp and Grits and my wife got the special of the day, chicken and biscuit. The portion size is perfect for both dishes. For the Grilled Shrimp and Grits, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy and the grits were buttery without being too rich and oily, which perfectly complimented the shrimp. The andouille sausage adds a perfect salty bite to the dish, and the fresh greens and crispy noodle rounds out the dish. As for the chicken and biscuit, the dish came out hot and juice. The biscuit is glazed with a jalapeño honey which compliments the dish perfectly. The biscuit has a nice crisp to it but still fluffy and buttery inside, and I think it's one of the better biscuit in the Denver metro area. The chicken is juicy and perfectly seasoned. Overall, 24 Carrot Bistro is a fantastic restaurant. The brunch menu has many attractive options, and I definitely will be back to try dinner. Additionally, as a farm to table restaurant, their menu changes seasonally and by their dishes on Instagram, this is definitely a restaurant I could see myself returning to check out new seasonal menu items.
