This is one of my favorite spots in Denver/Erie, CO. I come here every time I'm in town. The staff is always kind and helpful and the atmosphere calm and friendly. Its been a few years since I was here. Better yes, Average yes. Food: Much improved from back in 2018, yes. Amazing, no. Basic bar faire at prices that are prob about 10% too high for what it is. Had Meatball Sub and Italian Nachos. Beer: small draft selection but at least there are some workable options for those who do not like IPAs Decor : has not changed since 2018 still the same drab spartan, dive-bar look and feel. I dont about decor much as long as things are clean and the food is good. Service: Very friendly but also very slow and not super attentive... took us 20 min and me going to get our server to finally get to place an order. Great menu and atmoshphere! Love how you can seat yourself and there's a great patio option complete with a water feature. However, when patio sitting you will not receive great service. The table next to us warned us and we witnessed them have to ask for refills and get their tab. We then had the same exact experience. Food was wonderful- hot and delicious and just as ordered. Refills were never given and we were very thirsty on a hot day. Also feels like a rip off when you pay for soda and don't get a free refill. Waters and sodas were consumed and not refilled. read more

This place feels a little higher than a sports bar, but it's definitely a sports bar. It also feels very small town - especially with the local sports teams on the wall. It was pretty clean and tidy inside which was nice. Service was okay. We weren't greeted but more so told to sit down wherever we wanted to; which we did. Waitress didn't know what was on tap and told us to go check what was on the list over by the front door. We ordered our drinks and then took a look at the menu. Food looked good, I opted for the normal burger but wanted cheese and bacon added which was an option under the item. Girlfriend got the rattlesnake burger, which she liked. When my burger came I noticed it didn't have the cheese nor the bacon. I didn't really care at this point and just ate the food. The burger and the fries were good, and I would try this place again. Everyone deserves a second chance. Overall service was lacking just a bit, we'd say our thanks when things were delivered to the table and the waitress would just walk away without so much as a smile. We'll come by again to try some of the other items, hope for some better service. read more

I even recognize we were in a corner and not by the majority of customers in the bar area. As a past server myself I don't often tip less than 20% but this time it was warranted. Absolutely disgusting. Ate here probably 3-4 months ago and was pretty good. Unfortunately that is not the case today. Ordered wings and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were burnt and not even slightly warm. Wong's were decent but got 7 drums and one wing piece. I will never eat here again. Ever. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch and boy were we pleased! Very good service and excellent food. I had a jerk chicken bowl with plenty of chicken, great veggies, a delicious blend of grains, and a very flavorful jerk sauce. My friend had the cauliflower wings. Way above average - crispy but not overly breaded, flavorful, yummy sauce. The rest of the menu included creative burgers, a selection of Mac n cheeses, sandwiches, and some tasty sounding salads. My friends and I come here for lunch on Fridays every now and again. Great burgers, the meatball sub and steak sandwiches are great. The smoked wings are delicious. It was pretty crowded when we got there but we got a seat close to the bar. The service was fantastic despite how busy it was. The wings were excellent. Seemed like bar food, but it was very good. Food: Yummy! I had the bbq bacon burger which was yummy! I enjoyed the onion rings being on there too, it added a nice crunch. The fries were nice and really crispy! The Rusty Melon is okay. My husband and I tried to order dinner on their website and that was a near disaster. Not only did the system charge me twice, but the Fish n Chips I wanted to order wasn't clickable on their website. It was frustrating to get all the way to the check out tab just for it to be like, "you can't order this even though it's on the menu." I ended up ordering some non memorable meal and when we picked it up, my husband mentioned to them the hiccup with their online ordering system. Apparently, they're aware of it. The guy also assured us that our card would only be charged one time when it fully processed -- which was true. Thanks, but it still left a bitter taste that it happened in the first place to no fault of our own, but whatever. I'm not eating here again. read more

Food is pretty good, but there is not any charm or nice atmosphere. Pretty expensive as well; we paid $75 for a burger, kids meal, two salads, and an appetizer. No drinks at all. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Would probably be 4 stars if we didn't have to wait probably 45 min to eat on a Wednesday night. read more

I've lived in Erie since 2018. Ever since the miner's tavern closed a few years back, I've been coming here five nights a week. I work on my computer and have a beer. I'm a regular, if there ever was one, and have met all the servers over the past many years. Tonight, I got some distressing news that Zack may no longer be working here. To be clear, I don't think this is a smart decision for the business or the community. He is, by a notable margin, the best server to have worked here -- easily the best in Erie (I was first served by him at another establishment). Further, I recently dined at Bruto (one of the first Michelin star recipients in Colorado) and I wouldn't hesitate to say that Zack's capacity for service, attunement to customer needs, and care for the overall functioning of the business, would be an appropriate fit for a place like that. Your people matter most in a small business -- don't lose this one. read more

The food here was AMAZING. I had a chicken parm sandwich and it was huge. The fries are seasoned and crispy. The kids meal portion was very big. Service was a little slow but you could tell she was trying. The patio looked really nice but it was too windy for us to sit there. I had a great mushroom Swiss burger. My only complaint is the mushrooms were very wet and the lower part of the bun was wet and falling apart. Suggest the cook drains them before putting them on the burger. Service friendly and quick. Be warned the acoustics are awful and sound bounces off the walls. It is annoyingly loud. Suggest you sit outside weather permitting. A singer was setting up and I would useably hangout to hear them. With the noise level being what it is I left before they set up. I don't come here often and tonight I was reminded why. We waited over an hour for our food. We didn't see our server from the time she took our order and brought our drinks until after our food came. The food was mediocre and Luke warm. And the 3 other tables seated near us all had similar issues and had to send wrong items back or get up themselves to get things. We had simple items too... Blt, mozzarella sticks, fries and wings. This was delicious! I loved the beet salad but I had a terrible time deciding between the beet salad and peach salad. We ate at the Gunbarrel location. Everything was excellent, the food, service and atmosphere etc. We will definitely be back for more of Everything! I had the Reaper, sauce was spicy so glad I got it on the side, delicious burger! The fries are the best I've ever had, so perfectly crispy and tasty. We had been hearing good things about the food at this place, and particularly their Taco Tuesday specials. Unfortunately, we may never know if the food here is any good or not. They have a "Please Seat Yourself" sign, so we picked out a table and waited for someone to come by and offer us waters and menus. We sat there for 15 minutes and none of the staff so much as acknowledged that we existed. I understand that places get busy and that a lot of restaurants are understaffed these days. But in the space of 15 minutes, someone could have at least stopped by and said, "Sorry, we're really busy and we'll be with you in a minute." No one even made eye contact with us. We got tired of waiting, so we picked up and went somewhere else. Maybe the sign should have said, "Please Serve Yourself." read more
