Their pastries and desserts are wonderful too. I particularly enjoy the pistachio-based treats. Super cozy atmosphere and the little arm-rest cushions are a nice touch. Their overall aesthetic is great: a blend of historic and modern. It's a great place to work but be respectful. I've seen a few people on video calls that were WAY too loud. There are outlets but you've got to sit at the right spots. This place is a real gem in Aurora and I'm glad they're here.

When I walked in, I couldn't believe how this former yarn store at Hampden/Chambers had transformed into such a welcoming, elegant space. And I was even more impressed by the various food and drink options offered within. Being indecisive as usual, I settled on two beverages - the Sheeba (a take on the gingery cascara (coffee "cherry") tea called Qishr back home) and the Araysi - a mango smoothie with generous helpings of mixed-berry syrup (or, as you might know it better, Vimto). Each of these was revitalizing, relaxing, and refreshing in equal parts. But as it turned out, the food items I ordered might have been even better. The spinach pie was hearty and filling, with a well-baked outside revealing lashings of ultra-nutritious green vegetables within. But the rose milk cake - rich but not overbearingly sweet - proved to be a similarly excellent finish to my meal. I can thoroughly recommend Qamaria Yemeni Coffee.

Tips: They're parked in a busy lot with the donut shop, gas station, and postal vehicle substation. If you have little ones with you, you'll want to keep a hold on them for safety. One thing to note is that the coffee shop is located inside a convenience store, so there isn't any seating. Personally, I love the concept, and I hope they're able to expand one day to add a seating area for customers. It's a wonderful little coffee shop that truly deserves to thrive.

I was nervous about walking in and feeling pressured to spend money if nothing appealed to me, especially when they started talking to me! However they were very kind, spoke to me like a friend instead of a customer, gave me free pastry and coffee samples, and then made recommendations for a latte based on my feedback. I ended up with an iced white pistachio latte with oat milk in a decent sized cup for just over $6. Following the taste test, I'd say I like a sweeter latte personally, but know plenty of people who say the opposite, and the coffee itself was very rich and good quality (both sample and latte). On the way out they gave me a coupon as well as a loyalty punch card to seal the deal on my return. They also asked for a review but they didn't need to; I was planning to post one after that interaction anyway.

This is evident from the name Lucy -- the 3 million year old hominid discovered in Ethiopia and sometimes referred to as "the mother of us all", the understated murals, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful baristas, and of course the curated and highly enjoyable set of coffee beverages. My favorite is the macchiato, but every drink is an adventure of taste, aroma and texture that reflects refined coffee craftsmanship. The coffee is complemented by a delicious assortment of Ethiopian food and desserts, and a welcoming community. Lucy must be experienced to be truly appreciated. I really appreciate how the menu has all these specialty drinks flavors but you can order it as a latte, Matcha or a chai depending on your preference. Outside of the Gilmore Girl menu there were plenty of options. I would like to come back and try including the mini pancakes. It looks like mini pancakes are a specialty here. The ambience is not a coffee shop. The coffee truck is next to a food truck, but there are tables and shade between the two. They are parked in a lot right next to a busy road. But me and my mom found this place, and it's amazing. Yesterday, I drew the kind people working, and left it for them. Today, I came back, like we have for the past few days. The kind man offered me any item I wanted on the house, because they loved the drawings I did. I imagined they threw the drawings away, but to think they actually cared a lot about it made my week. Maybe even my month. A huge thank you to everyone who works here for being extremely kind and understanding. You gave me a place to be, somewhere I don't need to worry. Thank you. Now, for an actual review, the food here is very nice. All I really ate were the avocado toasts because that's all I'm familiar with, but of the two I tried, the supreme queen toast is the best. For service, the people here are very kind and attentive. Very respectful. And helpful, they will not make you feel stupid for having questions or needing a smaller menu (I have very bad vision for a 15 year old...). The ambiance is very nice. People are doing whatever they want or need, and don't care about you. Which is a good thing, especially for people who don't like loud or overwhelming spaces. Being open 24/7 is also very wonderful. Sometimes we're up late, after a day of forgetting to eat or just not having to the time to, having a place to eat and hang out is nice. It's also very cold, which is good because it's been very hot outside. Overall, this place is amazing. And I'm very sad to be leaving this area soon, but I hope I can come back again one day. I want everyone working to know how wonderful my experience was, and how much your kindness meant to me.
