Great falafels, hummus, however price to portion ratio is expensive as in small portions for high prices.

Cute little place with very helpful staff. Schwarma wrap was good quality meat and the spiced fries hit the spot.

Outstanding! Pitas, hummus, and babaganoush the BEST I've ever tasted. Meat dishes are perfectly seasoned and very well paired with sauces and spreads. Space is eclectic yet cozy. Service is wonderful. Delicious iced teas too. Amazing experience for all of my senses, especially the taste buds! Highly recommend! read more

This has got to be my worst experience with a restaurant in beacon ever. Me and my boyfriend came here a few weeks ago looking for a nice middle eastern meal instead what we got was, extremely overpriced food with very small portions that was not even tasty. I ordered a burger and the bun was soggy like to the point where I could not eat it . I then asked the waiter for a new bun when she said "it's not our fault it's like that you should have never ordered it" we never ended up getting a new bun because of how she denied it. This is extremely unprofessional and vulgar we highly recommend you don't waste your money here. The food was extremely bland as well with store bought pita ! Reconsider there is many good restaurants in beacon this is not one of them . read more

Exceptional. Perfect, helpful service. Delightful , cozy atmosphere, small. The best falafels and lentil soup ever- ideal tasting menu!!! Vegetarian and vegan options. Interesting salads such as watermelon, mint and feta cheese. They also serve Shakshuka-food from the heavens. read more

Delicious flavored food but very small portions. They simply need to double their portions for the price.

This is a small restaurant without frills. This is not to say it's not good- the food is very good. It is a hybrid of take out and table service, with an extensive menu that can be adapted to your food preferences, for instance the fatoush salad can be made with beef, feta, roasted vegetables, or other choices according to your preference. They had great iced mint tea, falafel is well executed and tasty. A good choice for an unpretentious, delicious meal. read more

Visited Ziatun on a 2 day trip to Beacon. We ordered the Futur Medley, Lamb Kebab, Chicken Shawarma Wrap and Baklawa. The star of the night was the Futur medley which is basically a platter of several appetizer items including baba ghanoush, hummus, olive oil, falafel amongst others served with pita bread. The pita bread was soft and fresh. The baba ghanoush and hummus were excellent. The falafel was absolutely outstanding. Our biggest disappointment however, was when we got the lamb kebab. While the portion size was decent, the lamb was absolutely rubbery, chewy and over cooked. We barely could eat even one piece and most of our lamb was untouched. The chicken shawarma wrap was also average and a bit on the bland side. I would have still given this place a 4 star due to the great appetizers and its ambiance, but when we told our server about the lamb, instead of acknowledging and simply apologizing on behalf of the chef(& the restaurant), she made us feel bad by abruptly saying that she cannot take it off the bill and that she can provide us a discount. As a paying customer I felt a little insulted when I was made to feel bad for reporting food which was over cooked. A discount was indeed applied, but I feel the whole issue could have been dealt in a nicer way. I would still recommend this place to others, but K really hope that the restaurant learn how to deal with issues like this. read more

Unbelievable middle eastern eats! I had a chicken wrap that was quite good, but the star was my wife's falafel platter. Literally the best falafel I've ever eaten. I'd given up ordering it after having a few too many mediocre renditions, but dang did this rekindle my falafel affection! The hummus was also spot on. If they have the watermelon, feta, mint salad, just get it and thank me later read more

Lovely comfortable decor and friendly staff. I ordered the kofta kebab which is a blend of ground beef and lamb, seasoned with a blend of spices skewer-broiled & served with a yogurt dressing, over rice with salad. The Koftas spice blend was excellent and the amount was sufficient but the meat was a bit on the dry side. I was dissapointed to only find a silk layer of painted yogurt on the koftas. The tomato and cucumber side was for my taste too small a bit more than a tablespoon. The rice filled the whole plate but with no yogurt, minimal salad and dry koftas it turned out to be a let down. I am not ready to pay 17 dollars for a dish full of rice. Less rice more salad and a small side of yogurt would have helped balance the meal. The meal was nevertheless very flavorfull. read more

Just awful. My daughter and I had lunch here today. I ordered a chicken wrap and the server delivered a beef wrap instead. I do not eat beef and I alerted the server that I had received the wrong sandwich. She repeatedly suggested that I should eat the beef sandwich instead, ignoring my request for the item I'd ordered. She delayed until it was time to bring the check, and then offered to take 10% off for bringing the wrong item. As I handed her my credit card, and after ignoring numerous requests, the server finally delivered a miniature, appetizer-sized wrap, about 1/4 of the size of a normal sandwich, with almost nothing inside, wrapped "to go". I told her I was disappointed that I had never received my lunch, and the server went berzerk and made an awful scene, throwing my credit card at me and shouting that she would have to pay for my lunch. We left cash for the food we had received. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's a disorganized mess, and the server is combative and out of control. Our lunch was ruined, and I would never visit this place again. read more

Can't go wrong! Everything is perfect, every time. My favorites include the za'atar fries, rice bowl with lamb, and hummus (beet or plain). A decent selection of vegan and/or gluten free options if that's your thing. I wish I lived closer! read more

good food, good atmosphere, would prefer quicker customer service.

Mediocre at best. The beef and lamb shawarma was kinda dry. Small portions. Skip the rice pudding

Went for Mother's Day. Husbands food was just ok. But I Ordered beef and lamb kebab, yummy cucumber salad, rose water lemonade and coffee. All amazing! So nice to have authentic Arab food in Westchester! Ambiance is cozy; space is a bit small so reservations are recommended. read more

Never disappointed! Brought a friend bere for a last minute catch up date and she loved the food. The wine was good and waitress was SUPER friendly and patient even though it was a very bust Tuesday night at 8pm. My favorite place to eat by far! read more

Love this place. Its good for any mood and the food is solid. I wish they could expand into a bigger space though the atmosphere is great, just small. Great for romance or casual dining and the food is always good. read more

Awful food, way too dry... it was lacking of substance and flavor. Terrible customer management, terrible customer experience.

***Just a warning to all handicapped individuals that the step down from the sidewalk through the front door is a bit dangerous, and the bathroom doesn't have a railing*** nothing against the business I'm sure it's been like that and they do have a sign but my mother in law had some trouble. I've come here a few times with friends when I'm in town, and it's hard for me to get a good feel. Underwhelming. The food is good, the hummus and falafel especially. The lentil soup has gone from not needing to needing salt. Rose lemonade is great too, sometimes way too sweet. The service, usually good too- but inconsistent. This weekend while exploring the doggie street fair, I stopped in with my family. Server was friendly, but distracted and she didn't write down my order which explains why it came out wrong. After an hour another server came in and finally refilled our water but they seemed very unorganized. Granted it was very busy by then. The music was loud and pop/rock...ruined the ambiance which I would usually get a 5/5. Hopefully next time I'll be influenced to change this to 5 stars. I just don't get the hype over this place? read more

The food was very good. Many of the items are vegan or vegetarian, which is a nice option. The only thing was that it was the waitress first day on the job. She was nice but clueless. They have some al fresco searing, which is nice too! read more

The food was good, but way overpriced for the portions. Not a lot of meat for almost $20.

Living close to Beacon my wife and I stumbled by 3 weeks after opening and what lucky day for us!! This place is just what we need in the area. The food is fabulous !!! We shared the falafel, hummus and pita, fattoush salad and the lamb shawarma. Everything was fresh and delicious ! The service was wonderful decor was cool and inviting. We both can't wait to get back!!! read more

My wife and I ate there before a concert at the Howland Center... first time in Beacon. The food was delicious! We are vegetarians, so we ordered from the vegetarian side of the menu. Mujadara was perfect. We make this all the time ourselves. The Futur was also fantastic. The rose water lemonade was so good! We read some of the salty food complaints on here and I tell you, as a cook myself, it is nonsense. Perfectly seasoned, as it should be. Actually... just under, allowing the patron to add a hair if they feel to. The man who served us was gracious and attentive. We will come back here for sure. Highly recommended. read more

The food was really well presented! The service was great! Would definitely go back and recommend a friend!

The atmosphere is really cool and quaint but the hostess definitely made it a bit uncomfortable. She seemed high strung and the service wasnt the best. It was really cold. I ordered a Mixed Kebab over humus but got it with rice instead. Too hungry to send it back, I dug into...cold rice which wasn't even that great. The dish came with salad but the salad was better served on a taco. The Meat (beef & chicken) was better although the lamb was over cooked. The best thing there was the side of falafel with a white sauce. The sauce was a bit sour to me but my gf really liked it. The falafel though, I can eat them all day. read more

Great place. Friendly atmosphere. Although seemed to be understaffed, service was friendly and did what they could to be efficient. Couldn't believe one waitress was doing it all on her own. Other than that would 10/10 recommend! Tasty humus. read more

Great middle eastern food. Caters to vegans and meet eaters alike... A must stop in Beacon

Authentic and delicious Palestinian food, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, great service.

Tiny, pleasant Palestinian restaurant with good food--the fries are delicious--and very friendly staff.

Cozy little place with excellent food. The vegetable arayes have a smoky char and the falafel was moist and flavorful. Only confusion came from the menu, which doesn't distinguish the sizes of the portions. Would definitely recommend. read more

Had a nicely done lamb kebab over salad and rice. My wife enjoyed the mixed grill kebab over hummus. Inviting atmosphere and attentive wait staff. read more

Super sweet server, great food in a charming restaurant. If you're spending the day in Beacon, would definitely recommend. A friend and I shared the futur and the lentils with brown rice - great amount of food for two (maybe even too much food!) read more

I ordered Falafel. You got 6 for $6. They were the size of a half dollar 1/2 thick and overcooked(Dark Brown to Black). The portion they gave me of the Baba Ghanouj was small and the taste was much different then most other middle eastern restaurants I've gotten this from($8.00). Lastly the Shawarma sandwich had Lamb chunks with grizzle and it was also not filled with much. I tasted more of the pickle they put in it then anything else. For the $24.87 the taste and the portion. . . this is why I give them a 2 star. read more

One of my fav cuisine is Palestine and OH BOY, do they deliver. I have their breakfast platter along with fattush salad. The flavors, the condiments, the hot sauce. AAAAHH!!! I go to a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants and ultimately end up comparing them to what I grew up eating at home and let me tell you Ziatun has hit the nail on the head in terms of flavor and authenticity. This food is made and served with a grandmother's love that a Jordanian like me can truly appreciate. I stopped in today and sampled the Futur platter (a typical mezze with many small traditional dishes meant to be eaten with pita) and each dish was consistently flavorful from the first bite to the last. It's an utter joy to venture out and find someone creating food this good. Their hummus is utterly fantastic and they actually make the best Ful Medames I've ever had from a restaurant. They pay attention to the crucial details that separate the uninspired facsimiles passed off as authentic and true home cooking honed by years of experience and love. I absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for an enjoyable and authentic meal. The owner Kemal was a delight and I'm very much looking forward to my next visit. read more
