Nightmare fuel figurine with delicious hot mocha

Staff were incredibly kind and engaging- Will definitely be back if not just for the great coffee (I got a hot mocha) but for the relaxed and welcoming vibe- also my daughter convinced me to buy a dinosaur toy with a baby head so thank you for the nightmare fuel figurine.

I'm in love with this place. And it's women owned, hello?? The baked goods are SO good and made in house. The owner knew everyone's names and orders. The girls making the drinks always told me when they liked the combo of flavors I chose. I had never heard of white coffee, and it's my new thing! The loaded lemonade is so good with mango and strawberry! Wish I lived closer so I could go there every day. Just love supporting such a great local place!

So, this a cute and quaint little coffee shop. Very eclectic and friendly staff. We walked in and saw a long line...which means either slow service or a strong following. Despite the line, it moved quickly. They make their own pastries. I had a blueberry muffin (great) but had to choose between that and a churro-dusted croissant (looked yummy). The lady who took my order was very friendly (really made me feel welcomed) and as she handed me over to the cashier, she introduced me to her, who quickly began asking me questions that made me feel like I was more than just the next transaction...I felt important. I just had a drop coffee (which was good) and my colleagues had lattes and mochas, which they enjoyed. Definitely give this place a try...it's not that far from downtown.

Service was great! Super friendly staff who cares about if you like your coffee & have great recommendations. The vibe in the building was great.

The space is adorable and so cozy. I love their library for book exchange...

I love this place! Not only is the staff wonderful at making coffee & smoothies (& more) but their greetings in the mornings and afternoons are so wonderful! I bought a hoodie and coloring book and earrings and... everything is reasonably priced and adorable. The pastries are baked on site and delicious! I love the "punch card" process to earn free drinks- it feels like my birthday. Ha! With the convenience of the location and the great parking I love running in or staying for long periods of time... Check it out and support local!

Dis place is fire. So friggin tuff and the staff was super sigma. This was rizztastic.

What really stood out to me is that they greet you like they are truly happy to see you. Even on my first visit they made me feel welcome, and now every time I walk in they greet me like a familiar face and make me feel right at home. That kind of consistency and warmth is rare and says a lot about the people who work there. The space itself is fantastic. It is always spotless, the ambiance is relaxed, the music is great, and there are so many comfortable places to sit depending on your mood. Sometimes I relax on the couches, other times I grab a table or sit near the window and enjoy the view. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect on sunny Boise days and makes it a great place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. It is one of those places where you can easily spend time working, meeting someone, or just enjoying a great cup of coffee. They also have great food, which makes it even better whether you are stopping in for a quick bite or staying a while. Everything I have tried has been fresh and really good. You can also tell that management cares about both their employees and their customers. When a place is run well it shows through the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, and District Coffee absolutely delivers. I am new to Boise and this is one of the first places I recommend when someone asks where to get great coffee or find a comfortable place to spend some time. I have also had great experiences at their other locations. Boise is lucky to have them.

The shop is always clean and has a really comfortable atmosphere whether you're stopping in briefly or planning to stay awhile. One of the highlights is the upstairs seating area. It's cozy, bright, and overlooks the downstairs dining area, which gives it a great feel and makes it a perfect place to sit with a coffee or get some work done. The shop offers house roasted coffee beans and merchandise. My dad buys their house "bright eye" beans every week for our coffee machine at home. I know it's early but I love it when employees/ baristas greet us/customers "good morning"! They never smile and I feel like they had a rough night? And I never understood why My barista always ignored my request every time I ask them to make my latte extra hot and no foam/flat. But that's the great thing about Boise- every day luxuries are just way more accessible. I came by on a Saturday morning and picked up a few coffees and somethings for our long drive + camping trip we were heading to right after. We picked up beef jerky, protein bars, chia seed puddings, banana bread, and even some pre-mixed canned cocktails. I also picked up their East-ender sandwich with turkey, havarti, pickles, and mustard. They offered to heat it up but I knew I was going to save it for a bit and eat it somewhere along our journey-- so I got it cold. It held up very well on their sesame roll. I knew it was going to be a long day so I ordered an iced Americano for myself and an iced vanilla latte -- the much needed caffeine boost! What really makes this spot 5-stars is the whole vibe. It's clean, open, organized and you can just feel the pulse of the neighborhood.

The interior vibe is bright and inviting, featuring comfortable pink squishy chairs, retro couches, and standard tables. The customer service here is top-notch. I ordered the Blueberry Cinnamon Roll Twist and asked for it warmed up, but received it cold because it missed the note at checkout. When I brought it back, the gentleman at the counter was incredibly polite. He explained that they normally serve it cold so the cream cheese topping doesn't melt. I told him I didn't mind the melt, and he immediately warmed it up for me. It was phenomenal--warm, rich, and even better than the standard Cinnamon Twist (which was also excellent, flaky, and perfectly spiced). I also tried two drinks: 1. Iced Banana Bread Latte with Cold Foam: Super creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. 2. Vanilla Bean Matcha with Oat Milk: This was my first time ever trying matcha. Because I have hypothyroidism, I read up on how matcha can be beneficial for thyroid health depending on the milk and syrups used. I was nervous it would taste like dirt, but the oat milk recommendation was perfect. It completely smoothed out the earthiness, and the hint of vanilla made it incredibly delicious.I am officially a matcha convert and will definitely be back to order it again. Big thanks to the friendly staff for a great first visit!

Conveniently, there is a location off of it. Since I have never been in before, I didn't know if it's just a drive thru or if there's actual seating inside the venue. I was on a tight time frame and didn't have the time to check it out. I just opted to go through the drive thru. It was when I was pulling around when I realized you can enjoy your drink inside the joint too. That will be a must do the next time around! I did check out the big drink menu. All sorts of goodies available! But what caught my eyes were all the pumpkin spice options! There was a huge sign with photos of your pumpkin options. Being a visual eater, I was immediately sold on the pumpkin spice chai. It's never too early for pumpkin spice, even if it's 100 degrees outside. So, today I grabbed an iced pumpkin spice chai with almond milk. I was greeted by a handsome smile. He got me all squared away, got my number started for their loyalty program and handed me my drink. My drink looked tasty! I took a sip of that baby and mannnnnnnnn was it good! It tasted like holiday happiness in a cup. It was creamy, sweet and the spices were very noticeable. I love chai but that pumpkin spice added another level of yum to it. The almond milk was thick, it wasn't watered down like some other almond milks I've had. It was perfectly made. The drink is on the sweeter side so if you don't like your drinks that sweet, I would ask for it to be made less sweet. I appreciate sweeter drinks so it was a great first drink from this joint for me. I will have to make sure I stop at Black Rock when I'm around one. They sure did push out a great drink! I normally get iced americanos so this was a nice change. I'll have to try an americano next time but I'm hooked from my drink yesterday. Looking forward to my next pumpkin spice chai from this joint. Especially during the upcoming fall season.
