First and foremost, I am NOT a coffee drinker. Actually dislike the smell of coffee. So sorry no coffee review. I have been here a few times but been coming here more often recently. Food never disappoints. Dining in or to go, always perfect. We often do to go order for Shakespeare Festival. Easy call in early afternoon, order for family, pick up on the way. I love that they have fun seasonal drink specials. The breakfast burrito is so yummy and the staff has always been very nice. I couldn't decide what to drink one day so the young barista asked what kinds of things I like and made me something good that he was so excited about! The coffee was completely undrinkable, very disappointing. We spent a lot of money and tipped and I took one sip and had to throw it out. The espresso was burnt and tasted so bad and sour. Would never recommend this place which is unfortunate because it is cute inside. read more

Joe was very nice and he made my Carmel Macchiato so delicious. I go here pretty much 3 to 4 times a week since its the close to where I work. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of coffee and food that they offer. read more

Love this coffee shop- one of the best in Boise. Great pastries, excellent space to enjoy your snack and an exceptional brew.

They definitely get an A in terms of seating and space. Plus there's a drive-thru for convenience! I got the pistachio latte with almond milk and a blueberry scone, and I wasn't loving the scone. It was priced the same as other places but was maybe half the size and not as good. It wasn't bad; it just should have been cheaper for what it was. The latte was also very very hot when it arrived. That's more a personal preference of mine, so if you love 'em hot, they definitely deliver! I loved that I had a spot to work, but it wasn't really my favorite overall vibe. I love cozy spots with couches and fun menus. But for a quick spot on your way out of Boise or to a hike, this is a good option. read more

We have dropped in on this little caffe enough times we maybe soon considered regulars. This team is pretty efficient, consistent and friendly. A steady flow of people in & out of the very comfortable, well lit guest areas. A number of various seating inside & patio. A convenient drive-thru is available for those of you on the move. Love this place! They're consistent & friendly. Their salads are amazing, especially the home made croutons & their bagel breakfast sandwiches are my favorite breakfast item! Coffee is amazing and they put a lot of love into every drink they make! It's my go to coffee shop! Perhaps refrain from putting mask encouragement on your drive through window, people don't realize how much impact that can have on returning customers when you're trying to encourage something that should be a personal decision. Stopped here on a whim on the way to the lake yesterday. The coffee is amazing! The flavors, the balance and nothing is burnt. The inside of the store is so cute. Very well decorated and some super cute cups for sale. The only down fall was the staff wasn't the most friendly. Went back again today and they had a smidge more pep. It is so nice to have a local place to hang out when the mood hits. The setting is nice. The drinks are good (including the beer and wine). The food is a good mix of options from early morning to evening. Various artists are featured on the walls, and musicians are often playing on Saturday evenings. There is one TV which is a great way to watch a game without going to an actual bar (kid friendly). The patio out front always has a water dish for the puppies. Dave and Terry definitely have a good thing going here, and it is really nice to know that we are spending time with local folks. This is my office away from the office from time to time. The wifi is pretty stable and there are a couple of outlets available. The staff are also really good. There are a lot of long-term employees who get to know the locals. read more

This little coffee shop surprised me. We have seen white some coffee shops in Boise but always tried to stick with what we were familiar with, Starbucks, until we tried this little local owned coffee shop 3 months ago. The coffee is rich and perfect to the taste. I always like mocha or latte type of coffee. Doesn't matter what flavors I ordered, they were just perfect to my taste. The flavors will not overwhelmed nor too sweet than the coffee itself. I just ordered a holiday special "Snowball Mocha " (I think). Marshmallow melted on to of the hot coffee, it is rich but the bitterness of the coffee underneath it just make the coffee perfect (although I am not a big fan of marshmallow, I think this combo makes them perfect together). I had a chance to stepped inside and it is such a cozy welcoming coffee shop. Give this little place a try. You will love it! read more

Love this place! I found it on a road trip when gas station coffee wasn't cutting it. Had a latte and breakfast sandwich, just perfect... and service was friendly and efficient. Was my first time here. I'm new to the area and like good coffee. This place is in the same parking lot as my gym so I got excited to try it when I was done working out. I really wanted to like this place. The coffee is actually really good and the place is super cute, but the woman who opened today was just not happy or inviting in any way. Basically didn't speak to me or acknowledge me barely at all. I even said good morning and got nothing in return. Also the hours listed everywhere say they open at 5:30 today, but the doors were not unlocked until 6:00 am. Luckily I didn't have school for a little bit but it would've not been cool to wait for them to open and then wait longer because they are late and then not be able to get coffee before i had school. I'm hoping this isn't the vibe here because it's so close to my gym. I'll give them another try on a different and hope for better service I guess. read more

**Review of hot beverages only** Passing thru, needed caffeine, decided to go with a local business rather than nearby chains. Ordered latte, cappuccino and chai tea latte. Husband's first words: 'Now that's good coffee!' (High praise from a coffee snob.) Not the best coffee he's ever had, but a very solid brew - and hands down a cut above the chains. Really love this place. 1- its close to where I live so I can walk over and relax with any of their great drinks or food. 2- they make a lot of their items in house which is different than most franchise or other independent bistros/coffee houses. 3- great interior that is comfortable. 4- wide selection (and quality) of drinks from beer, wine, coffee, teas, smoothies and kombucha!! 5- they have great sandwiches and other foods that are again made fresh. I'd been told this was the best coffee you'll ever taste,....and after one sip I truly was a believer. The only word to explain the taste is LUSCIOUS....I know that's an odd way to describe coffee, but there is something different about it that can't be matched. I took a girlfriend of mine who has traveled all over the world, who is a cappuccino, no whip, a little whatever..big cup....blah blah....knowing her reaction, but wanted to watch it. After her first sip, she nearly screamed with joy, which can again sound corny, but I guess coffee snobs are like that. She said it was the best coffee she's ever tasted. I'm updating this review and increasing my rating because I can visibly tell that the staff has made an improvement on the issue I had when I wrote the first review. Staff is now confirming orders and I haven't had one wrong since. This is a big improvement. They are friendly as ever, and the coffee is still fantastic, of course! I am so happy to see a local business that is willing to listen to customers and make improvements, especially when the product they are selling is of great quality. This is a local shop who truly wants to cultivate a local meeting place. They want people to come in and enjoy themselves in an environment that increases interactions between the people who live in the area. No doubt you can grab a cup of your choice and quietly sit in the corner but otherwise they would love to get to know you. Their coffee and espresso are really good. They have a good selection of pre-made desserts, breakfast items and sandwiches. They have a good wine selection and beer on tap. We took our family here last night for their live music. A great time was had by all while we ate (good homemade pot roast), relaxed and played games while listening to some good local live music. Not many places where you can listen to live music with your kids. We really like Caffe Capri and hope that others will embrace it so that it can become a fixture in the community. If you get a chance, stop by and meet the owners David and Terry or any of their staff. I think you will be glad you did. read more

I am so lucky my favorite coffee shop happens to be conveniently located near work. Hands down, best chai in the valley. They use a creamy powder that is a million times tastier than the standard liquid stuff. My understanding it isn't used at all Cafe Capris so if you have had it elsewhere, don't assume it is the same. I also recommend the marbled cold brew. Delicious! They have happy hour and frequently have events including live music, fundraisers, etc. They also sell beer. Give it a shot and you won't regret it! read more
