As one does I googled pourovers in Boise before my trip and this one came up as a "third wave" coffee shop... idk what that means but they brew an incredible pourover. Legit espresso shop that provides excellent drinks that are on par with shops in Italy.

Stopped in Sunday and my wife and I each tried a mocha. Flavor was great, smooth and just the right temperature and consistency. The barista was courteous, friendly and vet knowledgeable. We would have liked to sample the pastries but not a large selection. Could have been they had already sold most. If you're in the area give it a try, I do not believe you will be disappointed. 4 stars because of the pastry shortage- not the coffee! read more

Their coffee is bold, I ordered a Mocha, I love the combination of dark chocolate and coffee, and this one had a strong coffee flavor that chocolate compliments but doesn't cover. They weren't able to do the pour over due to an issue with the grinder, so they gave me an espresso on the house which was some of the best espresso I have ever had! Also the sparkling water with an espresso is a nice touch. The space is modern, clean, and comfortable. Definitely will be back to try some of their different varieties in the future! read more

I go for the straight, ol' Americano and am never disappointed. I've had a taste of a friend's oat milk latte and found it delightful and mellow. Served in understated ceramic mugs made special for Neckar, you'll marvel at the beautiful display when coffee meets cup. Just do it while the beverage is sitting on the table; those mugs can get roasty toasty. Feeling like a snack? Janjou, a local favorite, lends its pastry proficiency to the cause. Baristas are both cool AND kind, something to be lauded. There isn't tons of seating so you may have to throw some elbows when the place is hopping.
