I enjoyed the coffee here, the latte art was definitely a plus! There was plenty of seating inside and the employees were very nice and helped me pick out a drink I'd like best.

Super friendly staff, lots of seating and great coffee and smoothies! What more can you ask for. Their pastries and other food looks good too. Love the location right on the big pedestrian street. Was only in Boise for 2 nights and went back here twice!

The second I walked in I knew this place was my vibe. They clearly care about really good coffee, and their drink menu proves that. I love a simple menu that has just the right amount of options and isn't too fluffy, if you know what I mean. The space is big too - perfect for working and also in a perfect location downtown. You can easily grab a drink and enjoy a quiet Saturday walk. And they sell Gaston goods so it's just a win-win! I love a fun unique touch, which is here with their question of the day and a pen for people to answer on the counter!

This place is located in downtown Boise and perfect for grabbing a coffee or snack. They have a cool menu of seasonal coffee drinks, a great selection of teas and bakery items and other food. The place is big with plenty of places to sit, including an outdoor patio. The staff is really nice and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. They were out of a number of food items so I didn't eat there but probably a good sign that those items are ordered often

Sunday morning coffee is a requirement and after exploring the graffiti alley nearby https://www.yelp.com/biz/freak-alley-gallery-boise?hrid=MoDGmaxzJCG19fdAm5z6KA, I stopped here for a pick-me-up. This is a cool shop with a friendly vibe and a clean space. Lots of seating around and I took a spot at the counter for my cortado and a few minutes to enjoy it while writing a review or two. The coffee was excellent and the barista who prepared it was friendly and chatty. [Review 17788 overall - 58 in Idaho - 1309 of 2022.]

We liked the bright and spacious interior, friendly baristas & cold brew here. The cortado was good but the texture was a bit too watery & runny and the resulting temp of the drink was too hot.

Nice coffee shop downtown Boise on the pedestrian section of 8th street. Large selection of coffees, teas and pastries. I ordered a mocha coffee with a chocolate biscotti. I have the same critic I always have for most mochas; it tastes more like a hot chocolate, you're still supposed to taste the coffee in a mocha, but I'll overlook that since it's a common shortcoming. Service is friendly, and the setting elegant and cozy. I will definitely return and do recommend this coffee shop.

One of the best coffee shops in the city, awesome indoor and outdoor space and they serve fresh whole milk from a local farm. Good baristas that serve great coffee.

What really stood out to me is that they greet you like they are truly happy to see you. Even on my first visit they made me feel welcome, and now every time I walk in they greet me like a familiar face and make me feel right at home. That kind of consistency and warmth is rare and says a lot about the people who work there. The space itself is fantastic. It is always spotless, the ambiance is relaxed, the music is great, and there are so many comfortable places to sit depending on your mood. Sometimes I relax on the couches, other times I grab a table or sit near the window and enjoy the view. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect on sunny Boise days and makes it a great place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. It is one of those places where you can easily spend time working, meeting someone, or just enjoying a great cup of coffee. They also have great food, which makes it even better whether you are stopping in for a quick bite or staying a while. Everything I have tried has been fresh and really good. You can also tell that management cares about both their employees and their customers. When a place is run well it shows through the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, and District Coffee absolutely delivers. I am new to Boise and this is one of the first places I recommend when someone asks where to get great coffee or find a comfortable place to spend some time. I have also had great experiences at their other locations. Boise is lucky to have them.

I know it's early but I love it when employees/ baristas greet us/customers "good morning"! They never smile and I feel like they had a rough night? And I never understood why My barista always ignored my request every time I ask them to make my latte extra hot and no foam/flat. Very simple coffee shop--not a lot of fuss, but excellent coffee. I went for an Americano and it was amazing. Honestly, we should have turned around and left right then. But we've been here many times before, so I gave the two workers the benefit of the doubt. We ordered our drinks and asked for them to be for here. I also got a scone. We waited 10 to 15 minutes while people who came in after us received their drinks first, and the shop wasn't busy. My husband eventually went up to ask about our order. The response we got was basically, "OK, we'll make it," with no apology or acknowledgment of the oversight. We finally received our drinks about 25 minutes after ordering, and they were in to-go cups even though we clearly asked for them to be for here. At that point it felt like a sign that we should just leave, so we did. If I could go back, I would have left the moment we weren't greeted. Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience to start our Sunday morning.
