Not bad, step up from Starbucks.Very friendly staff and nice little patio outside too. The flat white and cortoda was just OK though

The vibe is pretty good at Dawson. I found the baristas to be super friendly but still took the time to make a quality drink. There are some options like matta latte which are delightfully unsweetened. I that Dawson had a welcoming decor which made you want to stay at the coffee shop. Good experience.

I enjoyed the coffee here, the latte art was definitely a plus! There was plenty of seating inside and the employees were very nice and helped me pick out a drink I'd like best.

One of my favorite spots when visiting downtown house! Great coffee and pastries (they get theirs from Gaston), very fair and sane prices (20oz late with 4 shots and a Kouign Amann a looping $10???) Great service and atmosphere

Super friendly staff, lots of seating and great coffee and smoothies! What more can you ask for. Their pastries and other food looks good too. Love the location right on the big pedestrian street. Was only in Boise for 2 nights and went back here twice!

The second I walked in I knew this place was my vibe. They clearly care about really good coffee, and their drink menu proves that. I love a simple menu that has just the right amount of options and isn't too fluffy, if you know what I mean. The space is big too - perfect for working and also in a perfect location downtown. You can easily grab a drink and enjoy a quiet Saturday walk. And they sell Gaston goods so it's just a win-win! I love a fun unique touch, which is here with their question of the day and a pen for people to answer on the counter!

Sunday morning coffee is a requirement and after exploring the graffiti alley nearby https://www.yelp.com/biz/freak-alley-gallery-boise?hrid=MoDGmaxzJCG19fdAm5z6KA, I stopped here for a pick-me-up. This is a cool shop with a friendly vibe and a clean space. Lots of seating around and I took a spot at the counter for my cortado and a few minutes to enjoy it while writing a review or two. The coffee was excellent and the barista who prepared it was friendly and chatty. [Review 17788 overall - 58 in Idaho - 1309 of 2022.]

This place is located in downtown Boise and perfect for grabbing a coffee or snack. They have a cool menu of seasonal coffee drinks, a great selection of teas and bakery items and other food. The place is big with plenty of places to sit, including an outdoor patio. The staff is really nice and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. They were out of a number of food items so I didn't eat there but probably a good sign that those items are ordered often

We liked the bright and spacious interior, friendly baristas & cold brew here. The cortado was good but the texture was a bit too watery & runny and the resulting temp of the drink was too hot.

Nice coffee shop downtown Boise on the pedestrian section of 8th street. Large selection of coffees, teas and pastries. I ordered a mocha coffee with a chocolate biscotti. I have the same critic I always have for most mochas; it tastes more like a hot chocolate, you're still supposed to taste the coffee in a mocha, but I'll overlook that since it's a common shortcoming. Service is friendly, and the setting elegant and cozy. I will definitely return and do recommend this coffee shop.

I will put my words in concrete to let everyone know that this coffee joint has the best Chai and staff, hands down! You can't compete with this shop. They are always on point. Thank you to the two baristas working last Saturday afternoon(7.25). The both of them took such good care of me. They were kind about getting me a non communal lid and straw. I have to be so careful with germs and my new kidney. No hesitation, they provided me what I needed to be safe. Your kindness speaks volumes! And I appreciate you so much for it! I look forward to another chai breve soon! Especially with Fall coming up. That Chai is going to hit different! It's going to be so great!

Our Lattes came fairly quick, maybe 15 minutes at the most. The latte art was exquisitely applied. The latte itself was served in a large ceramic cup. I ordered and paid for an extra shot in each but I'm pretty sure by the weak taste I did not get them. I wasn't watching, I just trusted them. We also ordered two House Granola + Yogurt Bowls that took awhile to come out. They were very different from the standard and usual. There was no fresh fruit or berries but instead a cherry compote. Also added was some almond butter, honey, and a bit of cinnamon. Thrown on top were some chia seeds. The granola was sparse and of no added taste, but perhaps a bit of texture. Although not what I expected the resulting concoction tasted very good, even though my wife didn't find it as appealing. The portion size is huge. I would order this again without remorse. The ambiance is of a very busy and active hub of diverse groups. The audible level of many many conversations was party like.

I was suggested to call in and see if they were some available the day of. So, I called in this morning to do an apple fritter check. I talked to Emily this morning. I was told that they don't serve apple fritters. So, now I'm confused to whether they do or don't sell fritters. She did tell me that they have apple bear claws and an apple bread available. I asked if a bear claw could be set aside for me. With it being Saturday morning, I wanted to guarantee a bear claw after I got off work. I wanted to take one home to my husband since I promised him one. I headed in around 9:30. It was chill so I probably could have just snagged one but I wanted it to be a guarantee. The gal behind the counter grabbed my bear claw. Paid for it and made me way out. On my way to the car, I couldn't help but be baffled to how light the box was. I got into my car and opened the box up. Bro, to call this pastry in this to go box a bear claw has to be a joke. A bear claw to me is big, palm size. Multiple people handling a big claw size. I was so disappointed at how tiny this bear claw was. Honestly, to have it be called bear claw is criminal work. And to have it be pushing 5 bucks is criminal work too. Don't get me wrong, the bear claw was decent. It was frosted. The pastry portion of it was soft and buttery. There was apple but very subtle. The size of it is comparable to street taco but fluffier. To compare a bear claw to a street taco is just insane to me.

We enjoyed our coffee with unlimited refills and took a booth where you can people watch and we could see the capitol building. Friendly staff and good coffee. I appreciate the variety of baked goods and even the discounted day old items. Good place to grab a coffee when you don't have much time. Loved the artwork on display too. Several little tables here and booths and one larger table. My quiche was good. Everything I expected and I got the day old banana bread which was dried up and hard on the edges and soft in the middle. I guess that's why they discount it. After a day it doesn't hold up too long.

Walking in, I see my boss enjoying her drink! I knew it was at the right place when I saw her! The barista let me chat for a minute before I got to ordering. It was perfectly made with the right amount of ice, espresso and cream. I added a couple blue packets of sugar and it was perfect. It was just what I needed! The venue is very bright and inviting.
