Excellent taste, I wish I could have stayed because the vibes are very nice inside. Everyone was friendly and loved the beans they had in stock to buy. Highly recommend!

Idaho Alien (matcha, calpico, pistachio, matcha cloud)

I liked the dark aesthetic and interesting layout of the shop plus all the outdoor seating. The baristas were very welcoming but it seems like one of those places that could be intimidating if you don't really know your coffee (or tea, if that's what you're there for). I came because they had some seasonal drinks that sounded interesting. They were each named after a song to celebrate a local music festival. I had the Idaho Alien, which was matcha with calpico and pistachio syrup topped with matcha foam. Very good and unique! The different flavours didn't overshadow the matcha. I was a little disappointed to receive my drink in a plastic cup even though I requested for here, but that is a small detail in an otherwise very positive experience.

Was recommended to stop by here during my work travel and I was thoroughly impressed. It can be hard to find high quality matcha outside of large cities (I'm from Phoenix, so I am spoiled with a large selection). I ordered a hot vanilla matcha and it was perfect. Not too sweet or milky at all. I also tried the pear danish and it was fantastic. This would be a regular spot if I lived here! The area it is located in is beautiful too.

Stopped by Slow by Slow Coffee and got a cappuccino and a mocha. The cappuccino was smooth and well-balanced, and the mocha had a rich chocolate flavor without being too sweet. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into each drink. Definitely a spot I'll be back to and the team there was super nice and helpful as well as detail oriented!!

Oat milk latte and black pour over coffee.

Amazing coffee and great atmosphere! It's very rare that I enjoy my coffee black - and this was truly exceptional. The folks here are super-friendly and very knowledgeable about their drinks. The pastries are also delicious! We have found out new coffee joint in Boise Thank you!!!

Coming from Southern California, this place is interesting. They sell their own beans. The service was great and the Vanilla and Brown sugar latte coffee we got was yum.

Got a fruitloop matcha and a cappuccino and both were delicious! The shop was really cool too with a good amount of seating plus an upstairs with more seating as well.

Ooo-baby it's cold outside- ube latte with cinnamon

Love this place! The workers are super friendly and their coffee is delicious they had an awesome seasonal menu. I tried the "ooo-baby it's cold outside" which is a fun holiday name for their ube latte with cinnamon. I've had ube lattes before and I know I like them, but this one actually surprised me by how delicious it was. I'm happy we were able to drop in before they closed for the day!

Boise has some good coffee shops but this one is really good. Automatic 10/10 when you have house made syrups! Tried the vanilla latte and it was a winner. Nice indoor seating area and some tables and chairs outside.

Coffee: SO freaking good! We tried a pour over, an espresso, and the old fashioned latte with coconut milk. All amazing!! And love that the latte wasn't super sweet at all. Delicious Ambiance: chill and perfect for hanging out or working out Service: super friendly, quick as possible with pour overs, etc (both girls working when we went were great) Will prob be back while I'm town to get some work done here!

the location is a great place for city atmosphere. The staff was very nice. I love the decor inside. I got an iced americano to go. The Americano was a bit bitter so I'm willing to give it another try ordering a different drink next time.

Small but beautifully curated space in downtown Boise

We enjoyed our coffee with unlimited refills and took a booth where you can people watch and we could see the capitol building. Friendly staff and good coffee. I appreciate the variety of baked goods and even the discounted day old items. Good place to grab a coffee when you don't have much time. Loved the artwork on display too. Several little tables here and booths and one larger table. My quiche was good. Everything I expected and I got the day old banana bread which was dried up and hard on the edges and soft in the middle. I guess that's why they discount it. After a day it doesn't hold up too long.

I was suggested to call in and see if they were some available the day of. So, I called in this morning to do an apple fritter check. I talked to Emily this morning. I was told that they don't serve apple fritters. So, now I'm confused to whether they do or don't sell fritters. She did tell me that they have apple bear claws and an apple bread available. I asked if a bear claw could be set aside for me. With it being Saturday morning, I wanted to guarantee a bear claw after I got off work. I wanted to take one home to my husband since I promised him one. I headed in around 9:30. It was chill so I probably could have just snagged one but I wanted it to be a guarantee. The gal behind the counter grabbed my bear claw. Paid for it and made me way out. On my way to the car, I couldn't help but be baffled to how light the box was. I got into my car and opened the box up. Bro, to call this pastry in this to go box a bear claw has to be a joke. A bear claw to me is big, palm size. Multiple people handling a big claw size. I was so disappointed at how tiny this bear claw was. Honestly, to have it be called bear claw is criminal work. And to have it be pushing 5 bucks is criminal work too. Don't get me wrong, the bear claw was decent. It was frosted. The pastry portion of it was soft and buttery. There was apple but very subtle. The size of it is comparable to street taco but fluffier. To compare a bear claw to a street taco is just insane to me.

It included 5 pairings with food, coffee education, and a free tour of their roasting facility! My husband is a notorious coffee snob, so this was perfect. It lasted a few hours, and was lovely. We chatted with others at our table, enjoyed some delicious food, coffee, and even peaberry tea (a favorite). My husband especially enjoyed the roasting facility tour, which was led by a well-educated coffee enthusiast. She handed out amazing facts, generous tips, and favorite coffees. I usually hit a couple local joints that are right by the salon I work at. Conveniently, Dawson Taylor was right there so I took it as a sign to head in. This coffee joint is so cool. Walked in and instantly noticed how pretty the shop is. I was greeted right away. I told the gentleman that greeted me that I was going to use the ladies room real quick. I will have to say, the bathroom is so dope. I love all the quotes that were written on the walls. You don't realize how long you're actually in the bathroom when you're reading all the tiles. After reading a handful of tiles, I finally made my way out. I got my usual coffee when I try a new joint out. Gives every shop an even playing field. So I got myself an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. I had asked the barista for cream to be poured in the back by him. I had told him about my new kidney when I ordered and that I can't really use communal things. He proceeded to tell me the cream was at the table. I really didn't want to use it but I did. I poured a little of it out before I added the cream to my drink. I also used a napkin to hold the handle. I try not to be a germaphobe but it's hard not to be when your immune system is non existent. I made my way outside to sit under the sun and absorb the afternoon energy. I did add couple packets of my sweetner to my drink to sweetnen it a tad. I like my drinks on the sweeter side. Wow, this drink is absolute perfection. You can taste the espresso. It was very present and bitter. It wasn't watered down and light. I appreciate how bold the espresso is. The cream added a nice richness to the drink. The sweetner did enhance the taste of the vanilla. This americano was so good! I ended up walking to Cecil Andrus park and enjoying the rest of my drink there. It was just what I needed this afternoon. This joint is just another block away from the salon I work at which will be so nice and convenient to head down to for an afternoon caffeinated beverage. Another joint I will have to frequent. I will be back soon for another round of this fabulous americano. Especially after a long day at work.
