Okay, so I'm REALLY glad I came here. As I drove in, I saw the extremely cool Subaru van (I'm obsessed with micro cars!), and I was pleasantly surprised to meet the owners and enjoyed a delicious iced latte! Very cool space and great ambience. My only suggestion would be to add a bit of lighting. I was trying to read under the sign and it was quite dark. Still giving 5 stars due to the coffee and friendliness of the staff. Thank you! read more

What I love about Garden City is it's hidden gems. All these new businesses are opening up. And you have to get directions to these joints to find cause they aren't on a busy road. I would have never known about this shop if it wasn't for Google or Yelp. I had an hour before closing so I headed in real quick for a caffeinated beverage. Pulling up to the joint, it doesn't look like your basic coffee shop. It honestly looks like an office building. I love that they had Disciples in big bold letters on the door. It was a nice sign that I am in the right place. Walking in, this place is cool. Cool in mood, cool in atmosphere and cool in vibe. It's really quiet and chill. A great place to have an intimate coffee date or work. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He grabbed my order and got my drink started. I ordered my usual drink today. A small iced americano with cream. They didn't have any sugar free syrup options which is a bummer. He did ask if I want monk fruit or stevia sweetner, I passed on both. He did offer raw honey so I took up on that offer! He finished my drink and I noticed there wasn't any cream. It was filled to the top so it was pretty watered down. He did pour some of the coffee out and added the cream. The raw honey was nice but it still wasn't sweet enough for me so I added a packet of blue sweetner. It's a drinkable cup of coffee but it does lack flavor cause it was so watered down. I had really high hopes for this joint. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations. It looked like they pushed out great coffee! The venue and the gentleman were on point today but my drink was a flop. While waiting for my drink, I noticed all the cool patches from different police departments. Supporting our police departments is so important to me! They protect and serve us so they have my highest respect. I appreciate the different badges on display. I feel bad that I didn't really like my drink. I do want to come back and try again! I don't know if our addition of raw honey threw of dude while he was making my drink. This place is too cool not to come back. If I'm down Chinden again and I'm in need of a caffeinated beverage, I'll be stopping in here again. read more

Grateful to find an organic coffee source during my stay in Boise. I had the collagen latte and it was perfect. Very balanced flavors. I also enjoyed a slice of banana bread. I appreciated that the music volume was low which allowed me to work. read more

Over-roasted, exceedingly bitter coffee. The flavor profiles are all quite harsh and have an almost metallic flavor. I felt unwelcome in the cafe and as if the barista was unhappy I was there. I love going to new local cafes but I definitely won't be back here. read more

The service is so wonderful. The place is owned by two brothers, and they refused my tip since they're so new and don't have employees yet! The guy in front of me even paid for my drink. They have almond milk and a 2% lactose-free option for those of us who are iffy with full milk products. I recommend the vanilla latte! The almond coconut is TO DIE. But be ready for a very sugary experience. The ambiance is so mellow and inviting. The music made it a very calming place to work. It's hidden down 52nd in Garden City, so I think it's still waiting to be discovered! I'll definitely be back. read more

Excellent coffee--skilled at extracting a proper shot. I ordered at cappuccino and the coffee was smooth, with no acidic bite at the end. And the service was exceptional--friendly and patient, easygoing vibes. It's the kind of coffee place that I measure other coffee shops to--Disciples Coffee Roasters holds the standard! Hope to travel through town again in the future so I can enjoy another good cappuccino. read more

The BEST coffee in the Tresure Valley if not all of Idaho. My go to is a butter latte with maple syrup and raw milk. Almost everything is organic and the quality of their coffee beans are some of the freshest you can get your hands on. Good organic coffee is hard to come by, so I am so grateful this place exists. Chris and Joe are also super friendly and gracious and is part of the reason we keep coming back for more. 10/10 would highly recommend! read more

I love going here to work. Everyone is so nice. Little things like bringing my coffee to me instead of yelling my name to come to the counter really make a difference. I will say that it is pretty loud with the roasting machinery. But if you have noise cancelling headphones it's fine. read more

This coffee shop is not your typical national chain. It is warm, welcoming and inviting. It is somewhat off the beaten path but well worth finding. The coffee is outstanding and the service from the two brothers that run the store is top notch. They are very friendly and love talking about their business. They purposely have limited their coffee selections so they deliver only top quality products. Their pastries are from a local bakery which only enhances the local flavor of the store. They have ample parking in front and back and you can enter from both locations. They have music playing in the background but it is subtle. Seating is very comfortable and store seems very spacious even though it is not huge. This will become my one and only coffee shop because it is antithetical to the national super chains. read more

Delicious coffee options! Who doesn't appreciate quality ingredients?! The inside is spacious with lots of seating and has a cool coffee roaster machine to look at. Bummer it's in a parking lot and no cool outdoor seating options for summer. read more

Butter in my coffee!? So I learned something today, and that's that grass fed butter in my coffee is good for me and it's so so creamy! As you can see, this place is super cute and I love that it's so spacious compared to the usual cramped coffee shops. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into making it a space for people to gather and enjoy time together. I Loved that they also have kombucha on tap and Wildflour bakery items. They also have dairy free options as well as raw milk! There's parking in the front and the "back" of the shop and you can enter from both sides. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting Disciples. I am from out of town & chose this coffee shop due to the name & the reviews! (I'm so grateful that I did). I found my new favorite coffee shop in the Boise area! Quality, delicious coffee & food, exceptional service... just an overall refreshing & wholesome experience. I bought a bag of their in-house roasted espresso beans for home, too! Highly recommend supporting this family-owned business. Love what these guys are doing, what they stand for & their commitment to their faith & community. read more

Wow!!! What a gorgeous coffee shop! When we walked in we were immediately taken by an aesthetically pleasing space filled with natural light, colors and textures that invite a chill vibe, followed by the soothing aroma of freshly roasted coffee. We were welcomed in with a smile, an excellent first impression as we reached the counter and surfed the menu. Comfy seating choices and lots of open space creates your own area to relax and enjoy. We also love that their ingredients are all organic and raw, the way nature intended. The details matter, and absolutely make a difference for your health and enjoyment. Now let's talk coffee. Personally, I find when a place has an excellent espresso, everything else will follow in kind. The espresso was silky, smooth, rich and robust with flavor- each sip rounds out with a gentle nutty finish. Need I say more? It was perfection. This is not only my new favorite coffee spot. It's also the destination for those "hey, let's catch up over coffee" chats, the "I really need a good cup of coffee" moments, and those days where I wanna escape to a hidden gem and and do some deep creative work. read more

To say that the coffee scene in the treasure valley is competitive is an understatement. I've been to just about every artisan roaster and coffee shop in this area. And I have undoubtedly discovered my new regular spot. Not only was the coffee smooth and delicious, but the service was great as well. The folks at Disciple are passionate and generous, craftsman, Who really take serious pride in their work. I ordered a 12 ounce butter latte, made with Irish butter - and my only regret was that I didn't get the 16. Living in Nampa I'm about 30 minutes from Disciple coffee, but I will certainly be making it a regular stop during my morning routine before work. I also found that their merchandise was extremely fairly priced, and nothing about this place screams pretentious, or overly trendy. It's the type of business that will stick around for a long time, because of their commitment to excellence, kindness, and the customer. read more
