Bright Vibes, Excellent Service, and Delicious Drinks!…read more If you are looking for a great new coffee and pastry spot in Boise, Coffee With A Twist is a must-visit. The interior vibe is bright and inviting, featuring comfortable pink squishy chairs, retro couches, and standard tables. The customer service here is top-notch. I ordered the Blueberry Cinnamon Roll Twist and asked for it warmed up, but received it cold because it missed the note at checkout. When I brought it back, the gentleman at the counter was incredibly polite. He explained that they normally serve it cold so the cream cheese topping doesn't melt. I told him I didn't mind the melt, and he immediately warmed it up for me. It was phenomenal--warm, rich, and even better than the standard Cinnamon Twist (which was also excellent, flaky, and perfectly spiced). I also tried two drinks: 1. Iced Banana Bread Latte with Cold Foam: Super creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. 2. Vanilla Bean Matcha with Oat Milk: This was my first time ever trying matcha. Because I have hypothyroidism, I read up on how matcha can be beneficial for thyroid health depending on the milk and syrups used. I was nervous it would taste like dirt, but the oat milk recommendation was perfect. It completely smoothed out the earthiness, and the hint of vanilla made it incredibly delicious.I am officially a matcha convert and will definitely be back to order it again. Big thanks to the friendly staff for a great first visit!

CLOSED PERMANENTLY. After taking a scheduled post holiday break, owners, husband DK and wife Sarah…read moreKelly, announced on January 3, 2026 that they have sold the little building that was White Rabbit (and before that Petite 4) to David and Lizzie Rex, Wylder Hospitality Group, and they will not reopen. If you're holding gift cards or gave gift cards as holiday gifts, get in touch with the Kellys (at the White Rabbit number or page I assume) as they will refund them. Sarah is a remarkable chef and DK could teach a master class on hospitality. Those two things combined are part of the reason their businesses, White Rabbit, Petite 4 and prior to that the downtown sandwich shop Bleu Bird (in the space now occupied by Lemon Tree) were so popular. The Kellys say they are staying in Boise and that is a good thing for all of us who like to eat; to see where their creativity will take them. In the meantime, the Rex's have built a wonderful restaurant empire of successful, quality enterprises in less than 10 years since relocating to Boise from California. Best known among them is The Wylder and Percy, both in downtown Boise, but they also own others including Wyld Child that is in the same neighborhood as White Rabbit. So it is very good news for people who love good food in Boise, that the Rex's are the people who the Kelly's contacted to buy their beloved buildiong. It is early days but new owners suggest they will do an Italian themed pizza and pasta eatery.

I would title this one Kitchen Nightmares. Please help Gordon Ramsey! We've been there twice now…read moreand both times the experience was bad. First time was about ten months ago. My wife got the Chicken with lemon and capers. It was way overcooked, she sent it back and it came back exactly the same, but the manager did bring her a shrimp pasta dish instead. Ok, it happens they were nice well give them another shot. Second time was really annoying...young girl that sat us didn't give us menus. When waiter gave us water he didn't bring menus and we told him, we're starving. After waiting about five minutes, I got up and took menus off another table. After the waiter took the order from the group next to us he took our drink order. Again I'm forced to get up before we get our drinks because he's chatting with another employee and ask if we can order our food again telling him we are starving. He gave us some bread, but the food came out in a strange order. First the pizza (we never got our fried zucchini app) then our side salads over flowing with dressing, then our wife's meals. Our wife's were just watching us eat our pizza, because it would have got cold if we waited for them. It took 45 mins to get our food from when we ordered. Then I hear from the group next to us (they got there before us) tell the waiter we can't wait anymore can you just box up our food? The restaurant was only about half full, there shouldn't be this issue. We had a lot of time to look around waiting for our food, I noticed paint chipping all over, a lot of dust, some lights were missing their glass covers and the ones that did were covered with fingerprints. Just not the level of cleanliness would expect for a place that serves food. Shut the restaurant down for one day and clean and do some maintenance. The food is just ok, it's definitely not worth the wait. It seems like the Chef needs to get his stuff together. If he can't handle it, hire help because you keep this up and your business won't last. The whole thing just seems miss managed and as if the place had an uncaring type attitude...

We wanted to love this place . I'll start on a positive…read more Super cute date night vibe. Super cute and romantic ambiance. Love the aesthetics. The deep fried zucchini was tasty. Now to what was less than desirable: The lasagna entry "barely had any sauce" with it so it was almost dry. Normally lasagna you have the sauce and dip your bread or focaccia. Which Segways into: The focaccia seemed "day old and dry" almost crunchy. It should be warm and fresh at an Italian restaurant. My chicken piccata was pink. I didn't realize how pink the chicken was until I looked at my leftovers the next day. I threw it out to make sure I didn't get sick. Not sure if they have new kitchen staff or chef but someone is on a learning curve it seems. We were disappointed because we probably won't be back now and it is located in an adorable spot. (So if you go make sure your chicken is cooked all the way.)
