Lots of variety, drinks tasted great, and the staff was very friendly! I think one of the best boba places I've gone too!

    Crème brûlée milk tea

Best boba tea around. The boba was so soft. I got the crème brûlée and they torch the top.

Authentic boba tea shop. There have been so many innovations with boba tea, all sorts of flavors and textures. My favorite is still the classic boba tea. You can judge a boba tea shop by its simplest drink, which is the classic milk tea. This place is good.

It was very tasty! I tried their famous crème brûlée tea, and wow, it was exceptional!

This place is really cute and aesthetic. The drinks look amazing and if you get certain drinks, you get a cute bear top for your cup. Drinks are a bit pricey. The flavor of the tea is nice and fresh. I recommend the grapefruit tea. Some of the drinks are hit or miss but overall enjoy these drinks :) The boba could use some work. Maybe it was just when I went, but it had the consistency of jello almost. I am very privileged when it comes to boba places, so maybe I'm just being too picky. However, the taste was good, I just could not finish the boba itself because of consistency.

A cool boba place with a large variety of drinks. Despite the many options, I stuck with my traditional milk tea with boba. The tea was flavorful, and the boba soft, chewy and sweet. Definitely my favorite in Boise.

The Whale Tea On 2/6/22, ES and I visited The Whale Tea in Boise for the first time. The Whale Tea, a franchise specializing in Milk Teas aka Boba Teas that originated in China. My go to order the first time I visit a new Boba tea joint is the classic Milk Tea. ES tried the Jasmine Tea Crystal (Coconut Milk) with Lychee Boba. ES was on the fence about his drink. He probably would not order it again. Mine was a lot less sweet than normal and had hot Boba, which quickly turned what should have been a cold drink into one that was too warm and watery. I was really looking forward to trying this business, but I was disappointed with the outcome. Based solely on the comparison of this particular drink to the others I've had in the Treasure Valley, Urban Fox in Meridian remains my favorite. I liked the physical space but people entering and leaving continued to leave one of the doors wide-open, which made it chilly inside. I recommend the owner checks the setting on the door because when someone opens it all the way, it should swing shut after them, not remain locked in an open position. The bathrooms appear to be ADA compliant. I like the cute pink and blue whales on the doors. I plan to return to The Whale Tea to try something else, because they have a number of unique Boba Teas that you can't find anywhere else. My hope is that next time I have a better experience.

Thai Tea and Passion fruit tea.

The passion fruit iced tea was good but it could have used some passion fruit seeds inside or something. They don't ask you for the sweetness level from the start but I'm sure if you asked they would have no problem changing that. The restaurant itself looks super clean and it's very pretty and very coherent. Very authentic Taiwanese style and reasonable prices for America. I am definitely coming back. The cups are also really nice for being disposable.

I've been waiting for a place that brews the tea for their drinks and limits the number of items on the menu made with powder mix! The menu has a huge list of boba teas, fruity drinks, and toppings with seemingly endless combinations - I'm already planning out future drinks to order! They also prepare everything in a cute little whale, take out bag. I ordered the 'Strawberry Fresh Milk,' 'the Whale Crystal,' and the 'Taro Milk Tea' with boba. The interior was also new, very clean, and well lit. All the staff members were equipped with masks and they offered hand sanitizer at check out, as well as contactless pay. There is also the option to order online and pick in store from various food delivery apps. I'm so happy to finally have a boba tea place closer to my house that has variety in their teas and more toppings than just boba! Thank you Whale Tea! :)

A new yummy boba shop opened up near my house and I had to try it. The name and adorable whale theme immediately sparked my interest. I got a Creme Brûlée brown sugar milk tea and it was delicious! They scorched the sugar perfectly and it was a nice texture when I broke it down in my drink. Service was great. I got there right when it opened that day and immediately in about ten minutes there was a long line of people ready to order. The location is near a college campus too which was a smart move. Aesthetically designed with delicious drinks, I would go here again.

I LOVE having a place in town where I can get a halo halo!…read more For anyone who's not familiar, a halo halo is a Filipino dessert that contains different flavored jellies, sweet beans, crushed ice, evaporated milk, ube ice cream. The version here also includes flan and boba. The secret here is mixing all of the ingredients together for a very refreshing dessert. Pro tip: add some condensed milk and it gets even better! It's a cute little shop and the line can run a little long sometimes but that's okay. The employees have always been very nice so waiting is no big deal. I've ordered from here on Doordash a few times as well. Of course, fresh is always best...but when I can make it out, it's a solid option.

I have been to a majority of the boba spots in town so I was excited to try it this joint out. I love love love how girly and cute this place is! The pink walls. The decorative wall with all the roses on it. The gold accents. The cute chandeliers. The vibe of this place is right up my alley! I appreciate how feminine it is. I was instantly greeted by the sweet gal behind the counter. She said I was more than welcome to order with her or at the kiosk. I chose to order at the kiosk as I can take my time to go over the drink menu without being stressed of taking too much of her time. They have quite a few options. I know most places have similar drinks so I was looking to see if they have something different. I do love some of the names they have their drinks. I chose the Barbie today. It sounded fun and girly so why not. It's a pomegranate and lychee fruit tea with strawberry popping boba. I have tried a lot of fruit combinations with lychee. This will be my first experience with pomegranate. My drink came out bright and vibrant. I love the cute design on the cup and seal. Popped my straw into that baby and took a huge sip. Mannnn was it good! It was sweet and slightly tart. The popping bobas were a great addition to the drink. Barbie was definitely the right pick. I would frequent this place everyday if they were closer to me. All the fun places are always clear across town. My tea was delicious and fun. The gal that helped me a really sweet. And the venue is just too cute. I look forward to coming back when I get my nails again.
