Lots of variety, drinks tasted great, and the staff was very friendly! I think one of the best boba places I've gone too!

    Crème brûlée milk tea

Best boba tea around. The boba was so soft. I got the crème brûlée and they torch the top.

It was very tasty! I tried their famous crème brûlée tea, and wow, it was exceptional!

Authentic boba tea shop. There have been so many innovations with boba tea, all sorts of flavors and textures. My favorite is still the classic boba tea. You can judge a boba tea shop by its simplest drink, which is the classic milk tea. This place is good.

This place is really cute and aesthetic. The drinks look amazing and if you get certain drinks, you get a cute bear top for your cup. Drinks are a bit pricey. The flavor of the tea is nice and fresh. I recommend the grapefruit tea. Some of the drinks are hit or miss but overall enjoy these drinks :) The boba could use some work. Maybe it was just when I went, but it had the consistency of jello almost. I am very privileged when it comes to boba places, so maybe I'm just being too picky. However, the taste was good, I just could not finish the boba itself because of consistency.

A cool boba place with a large variety of drinks. Despite the many options, I stuck with my traditional milk tea with boba. The tea was flavorful, and the boba soft, chewy and sweet. Definitely my favorite in Boise.

Thai Tea and Passion fruit tea.

The passion fruit iced tea was good but it could have used some passion fruit seeds inside or something. They don't ask you for the sweetness level from the start but I'm sure if you asked they would have no problem changing that. The restaurant itself looks super clean and it's very pretty and very coherent. Very authentic Taiwanese style and reasonable prices for America. I am definitely coming back. The cups are also really nice for being disposable.

The Whale Tea On 2/6/22, ES and I visited The Whale Tea in Boise for the first time. The Whale Tea, a franchise specializing in Milk Teas aka Boba Teas that originated in China. My go to order the first time I visit a new Boba tea joint is the classic Milk Tea. ES tried the Jasmine Tea Crystal (Coconut Milk) with Lychee Boba. ES was on the fence about his drink. He probably would not order it again. Mine was a lot less sweet than normal and had hot Boba, which quickly turned what should have been a cold drink into one that was too warm and watery. I was really looking forward to trying this business, but I was disappointed with the outcome. Based solely on the comparison of this particular drink to the others I've had in the Treasure Valley, Urban Fox in Meridian remains my favorite. I liked the physical space but people entering and leaving continued to leave one of the doors wide-open, which made it chilly inside. I recommend the owner checks the setting on the door because when someone opens it all the way, it should swing shut after them, not remain locked in an open position. The bathrooms appear to be ADA compliant. I like the cute pink and blue whales on the doors. I plan to return to The Whale Tea to try something else, because they have a number of unique Boba Teas that you can't find anywhere else. My hope is that next time I have a better experience.

A few friends and I stopped in for some kava and shared a couple of kombuchas too--they've got plenty of options on tap. It was a casual place, and the woman at the bar explained all there was to know about Kava, including that my taste expectations shouldn't be too high, as it's a very "earthy" flavor. I would say it's a bit more than earthy. It's strong-flavored, but the affects hit me within minutes!! My tongue went numb and a wave of relaxation washed over me....reminiscent of Xanax, lol. We had to wait it out a little bit before driving home, especially me...I felt very sleepy after drinking the whole cup. It's definitely very relaxing, but not a drink that you would crave. It's kind of something you have to do quickly to get to the relaxing part. Don't try and sip it...just drink it down and suck on the pineapple. That's the best way to do it. We bought four containers of the stuff to take home with us, because we thought it would help us sleep better at night, and it definitely is, but I wouldn't do it too close to bedtime or you'll have to wake up to pee. All in all, interesting experience, for sure. Before this, I had not known much about Kava, so it was definitely worth doing. Will likely be back!

No greeting and sort of seemed like they didnt want to be there. Not rude though. Food is delicious. Falafel were flavorful, crispy, but not dry. The hummus was almost smooth. The pita had a little stale texture. It's pretty pricy, but we'd come back if we were craving it. Oh yeah, the market is great too.
