I usually just get the unlimited refill cup and drink from one of their mugs while I work for a bit. Where this place really shines is the baked goods and breakfast food. You can smell everything being made from their little kitchen, and it feels genuinely homemade in a way most coffee shops don't anymore. Their molasses cookies are somehow available year-round and I'm not exaggerating when I say if they're sold out, my day takes a turn. The quiche Lorraine is also legitimately excellent with a buttery crust, and they usually have a surprisingly good variety of gluten-free baked goods too. One thing I oddly appreciate: no music and no giant café chaos. Also no plugs, so this isn't the place to camp for 6 hours on a laptop. But if I need a quiet spot to answer emails or get 1-1.5 hours of work done without distraction, this is actually one of my favorite places to go.

Although it's located in a newer strip mall, the interior feels warm, inviting, and surprisingly cozy. The display case was stocked with a nice selection of pastries, including danishes, croissants, and various breads. I kept it simple and ordered a cafe latte along with a slice of banana bread. The latte was smooth, flavorful, and served nice and hot. The banana bread was fresh and quite good as well. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they're working hard to build something special. While I was there, a FedEx driver stopped in to drop off supplies, and they generously offered him a free coffee, it's a small gesture that says a lot about the kind of business they are. The atmosphere was pleasant, the prices were in line with other local coffee shops, and the overall experience was very positive. I think I've found a new coffee stop and will definitely be back.

The shop is always clean and has a really comfortable atmosphere whether you're stopping in briefly or planning to stay awhile. One of the highlights is the upstairs seating area. It's cozy, bright, and overlooks the downstairs dining area, which gives it a great feel and makes it a perfect place to sit with a coffee or get some work done. They also have nice outdoor seating, especially on sunny days, which adds to the whole downtown Boise experience. The food has been consistently good and everything I've tried has been fresh. What really stands out is the management. It's very impressive and clearly shows in the staff, the attention to detail, and the overall experience. Also added was some almond butter, honey, and a bit of cinnamon. Thrown on top were some chia seeds. The granola was sparse and of no added taste, but perhaps a bit of texture.
