I will definitely come here again! Super friendly counter person who was very patient in pointing out gluten free/gluten friendly options, even when busy mid day as other customers came & went... I felt very valued as a new customer, & I felt confident in choosing options with her help. I appreciated the creative flavors in the macarons, & though I didn't personally care for all the flavors... they were all fun to try & made it fun to have a "tasting adventure" later at home. Ok I was here awhile back and there's not much to say. I stopped here on my way to an event that my gym was putting on. I stopped in for doughnuts...because that makes sense, right? Headed to gym event, but needed doughnuts haha! Did they have them? Nnnnnnope! Made me very sad. This place sells their cookies in WinCo and I think Whole Foods. Their cookies are RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! I could easily eat a bag of 8 in probably half a day lol. Then I'd get all depressed because my bikini wouldn't fit right :( So when I asked about the doughnuts she said they haven't been making them and I think she said it was because of staffing issues. Thanks to the virus and people now refusing to work because the government is giving them too much in unemployment, this is the case with way too many restaurants, bakeries, etc. That's my subtle jab at the current government and what they're doing to the country lol! So I left without doughnuts BUUUUT I did buy a bag of cookies. The same bag I could have bought at WinCo or Whole Foods. She said basically everything they did that morning was make the cookies for the stores and she watched them leave to take them to the stores. Exciting! I felt all guilty as soon as I bit into one of the cookies but OMFG THEY ARE SO GOOD! Have y'all ever been to a crumbl? If you have one where you live GOOOOO! This places cookies are basically they lower calorie version of Crumbl because some Crumbl cookies have 850 calories in ONE cookie hahahaha! Is it worth it tho? Absolutely lol So are these cookies, but if you are trying to watch your calorie intake then maybe stay away because you can tear through a bag of these with ease. Chocolate crinkle and snickerdoodles are my go-to's! Ooooooh! Ok, y'all, WTF is with the twist ties you used to tie up the bags of cookies? STOP using those! They are literally THE WORST! I'm sure they're cost effective but stop! I'm also sure with selling to those two major grocery stores plus selling them in your bakery that you can absolutely afford to use better ties, ones that we can actually open and reuse vs these where you can't just open them, you have to cut the top of the bag and then basically...the bag is useless after that. I know this sounds petty, but ugh they're they worst! Aside from that, this place is super nice. It's in a very weird location tho, I was surprised by that. It's like the only sit down place on this street. Across from them is a warehouse of some sort, half a block up are homes, it's just seems like it would be better on the north end, or NW Boise, basically anywhere other than where it is lol. The staff is super sweet, the ones that were there lol. I'll definitely be going back. Glad my first experience there was a decent one even if they didn't have doughnuts for my heffa ass hahahaha! This coffee is the best in Garden City! It is delicious, smooth and tasty. The bakery items can be a bit dry but just add some butter and you will be set! Wildflour is only open the weekdays, which is a bummer. I need me some WB on the weekend. The barista is so cute and friendly she makes my day and makes me smile! This is a must! read more

Time passes. Things change. Not always for the best as, alas, seems to be so for the changes here. My understanding is the original owner may have sold the business a year or so ago. If so, that may explain it. The product does not seem as good and while I once sought out the cookies at both the CoOp and Whole Foods, purchases of them in the last year have been so inconsistent for quality that I no longer invest calories to buy them for myself or my money to give them as gifts. Also I popped in here twice in the 'pandemic times' to purchase to go and although mid-ish morning in both cases there was almost nothing from which to choose. While I once would have recommended going out of one's way for Wildflour, now I'd only factor it in if it was convenient for you to do. read more

This review is based off the multiple breads and cookies I grabbed at the downtown Winco location. Hands down, Wildflour is one of the best local bakeries Boise has to offer. To begin, the selection is endless! They have breads, cakes, cookies, muffins, pies, pastries, and scones off all kinds of flavors. Blueberry, raspberry, chocolate chip, mocha toffee, gingerbread, oh my word you name it! To date, my absolute favorite sweet treats are the Chocolate Walnut cookies ($4.95 for a 6 pack) and, even better, the Blueberry Sour Cream Loaf ($7.95). The latter is sooooooo good! It tastes delicious with a strong cup'o'jo in the A.M. It's very moist, and the sour cream adds a unique, sweet flavor to the blueberries. It's almost like eating a super smooth cake. I'm always impressed by how fresh it is despite being made a day or so prior (date is printed in packaging). This bread is best when the blueberries are in season. Yes, it's worth the price! Also, you're paying for the luxury of eating local treats from a small business. It's a win-win. Head on down to Winco to grab some or visit their wonderful shop in Garden City! read more

THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME FOR BAKED GOODS! I stayed the night in the area and woke up craving something sweet for breakfast. I came in here thinking they would have your typical baked goods and left with my mind blown! The french toast baked donut is the best donut I have ever had. I know what you are thinking, "Baked donuts!? How could that be better than your typically fried donut?" Trust me. It is. The donut is soft, the flavors are on point, and the best part...it melts in your mouth. I had to stop myself from going back in there and buying all of them. I don't think I will have such an amazing donut experience, unless I come back here. Aside from the donuts, the muffins and scones are heavenly as well. I got the peach ricotta scone and I typically do not get scones, but I had to try this for the flavor combination. All the scones I've ever had up until this point have been dry and crumbly and I always thought that's how they are supposed to be. This scone is a game changer! It is moist, buttery, and flavorful. Yesterday I stopped by Winco (Boise city) and picked up a bag of cookies.. It was unusual to see butterscotch/oatmeal and chocolate chips together in one cookie.. Well I've had them made by a good friend back in Hawaii.. I was hesitant to purchase it because I wasn't sure how fresh they were. As I was checking out I asked the gentleman ringing me up to check the price on the cookies when he told me the price (little spendy) and I was thinking to myself... should I or shouldn't I get it??? He assured me that it was well worth it and he also stated that cookies are made fresh everyday and he recommended me to just try it...
