I purchased a lychee slush and a popcorn chicken. Spending $8 on popcorn chicken, you would expect something close to a meal-size portion. To my surprise, I received, at best, a small handful of chicken, some of which was just fried breading. I've read through some of the comments here and noted that management instills a high price on their snacks and drinks because they purchase "quality ingredients." Although this could be potentially true, the chicken tasted stale and overcooked. Based on that, I fail to see where one gets $8 in value for the quality and quantity of chicken they receive. Additionally, I placed an order in advance for pick-up, and upon arrival, I had to wait an additional half hour until I was provided my order. The saving grace that doesn't make this a one-star review is the sheer quantity of drink you do receive, though for $7, this should be expected for flavored ice.... Overall, my experience was subpar, though it's likely no fault of the workers or the cooks. Based on the comments here, it seems like ownership is cutting corners on the cost of food while charging exorbitant prices. Additionally, the current set-up for pick-up seems very poor; while drinks are completed on time, they would be left out for long periods of time while the full order is, I assume, is being completed. A suggestion would be to add a fridge or some form of cooling in the front while customers wait for their full orders. Additionally, I saw several customers turned away (while it was, at worst, moderately busy) being told that their orders would take 30+ minutes. If a business has to turn away customers during non-rush hours, maybe there is an issue in the implementation of its business strategy that needs to be reconsidered... I likely won't come back unless there is a clear change in either the pricing or the quantity/quality of the food. I would be more than happy to update this review if things change for the better. An alternative to this business would be T4 boba, their service is timely, their food comes in large quantities, and the food is quality. read more

Highly recommend the ube (oo-bay) milkshake and classic elote. It's my favorite combo! Sweet, salty, and a little spicy all together. The ube milkshake is my absolute favorite! If you like vanilla you'll like the ube, it has a nutty taste to it along with hints of vanilla. If you have had taro tea, the ube is very similar. Very do-able prices as well, $12.50 for the two things I always get. The drink and elote are good sizes too for what you pay for! read more

Smoothies are good sometimes, when they are right they are good some of the good non traditional shake flavors are nice have accessible. Food is not spectacular, garlic fries are pretty good but the elotes, closer to esquites in my opinion is not great missing something. but will do in a pinch not bad overall have been multiple times will go again I'm sure. 3.5 really if the Ube camo shake was consistent(sometimes tastes like Ube other times is super light purple and tastes like the Oreo crumble) I would give it a 4 star..Thai tea camo shake has been good every time and the mangonada is definitely worth getting. Had the chicken tenders and Cajun fries they were average, fries weren't crispy and $9 dollars is a lot to pay for what you get. My partner tried Zero Degrees on 7/22 and ordered elotes and fried shrimp to-go on a lunch break during work. Positives: The staff were incredibly nice, the store was clean and the drinks were good. Negatives: The elotes were soggy and had so much cheese on the top they were inedible. The kicker was he realized that the shrimp had actually not been deveined and unfortunately he was intensely sick about 30min later and was unable to work. We contacted the store to let them know he had gotten sick and spoke with a manager, we were told it was "not food poisoning" because that requires multiple people to call in; they took our information and we were told he would receive a refund and have not received one as of 8/3. Tip: If you check in on yelp, you can get the combo for $10! They have 3 flavors of popcorn chicken and fries, I usually get the salt & pepper popcorn chicken and cajun fries. Everything was really good and the drink I got (mango green tea) was also refreshing. The interior of the store is also quite nice and is a great place to hang out and eat with friends/family. The drinks are good, but not amazing. You can get a better mangonada like drink at an agua fresca place. The milk teas were just normal nothing special. I brought my own cup and the cashier said that they aren't allowed to bring it over, so I asked if I bought one of their reusable cups if I can use those cups after and she replied no. Sounds wasteful in my opinion, especially in a place where lost of people are green or aspiring to be green. There was a long line, which is expected from a new boba spot. Tried this place after it opened twice. Nothing especially memorable but not bad either. Bubble tea had a good flavor and the honey boba was soft and chewy the first time, but a bit hard the second time (it was an hour before closing time so the boba was probably old). I recommend the combo, you can choose a food and get a drink for 2 dollars, a good deal if you want a drink and also something to munch on. I got the honey bbq popcorn chicken and fries. If I could put 0 stars I would. The elote is awful , the chicken is awful , the fries are awful. They didn't even put mayonnaise on the elote. It was just corn, cheese and Cheeto. It taste like they opened a can of corn and sprinkled cheese and Cheeto on it. When we called they said the manager made our food and that she did put mayonnaise on it, but she didn't even know who's order it was, so how would she know? Ordered a mangonada which tasted nothing like they do back home in LA - however the staff was accommodating and replaced my drink with the Oreo milkshake when I asked for an exchange. The hot Cheetos elote plate is decent, however I did not feel it was worth $6. There was an excessive amount of mayo on over my elote and not enough cheese. Additionally, the elote does not come on the cob but in a dish - not authentic but tasted fine.
