I went with my sister yesterday. The menu listed several drinks as top sellers. I was torn between the mango royal tea and the lychee black tea. My sister and I got the mango royal tea. We adjusted the sweetness to 50%. I got boba in my drink. The drink was good! At 50% sweetness, the drink was still too sweet. The boba was chewy but not sweet, like brown sugar boba. The place was nice, definitely popular. There was seating to enjoy drinks and food with friends, or as a study place. I would come back! read more

Alright. Let me start by saying this was my number one DoorDash and afternoon spot, until I quite literally almost choked on a black long strand of hair in my Mango royal tea. This was very disappointing to experience because I am such a big fan. Even though this was a pickle to be in, I doubt this will keep me from their delicious basil fried chicken. This is probably one of the least favorite jasmine milk tea I have had recently. All I can taste in this drink is the creamer... it tastes watered down and just does not have a strong tea taste at all. I did get it 50% sugar so that might've contributed to it, but I usually get it with that amount. I ended up paying $6, for it, so a bit disappointed :( I do want to say that I would've asked for a different drink but I didn't start drinking it until I was away from the restaurant. Tried this spot with my boyfriend the other day and it was really good! We've been to other boba spots around town but this one definitely seemed like it had more variety. Prices weren't terrible and sizes were pretty good. Service was casual, you order on the little ipad so you don't really interact much. I've tried the boba here a few times, and while it's not bad, it's not very memorable. However, the wintermelon flavor stands out and is always my top recommendation--definitely give it a try. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The earl grey milk tea with boba had nearly no flavor and a weird aftertaste. The boba itself was mediocre at best, not bad but also not good. My drink was about $6 and I ended up throwing away half my cup. My boyfriend got the popcorn chicken with the level 2 spiciness for $8.75. He said it tasted good and was glad he got it, though he wishes he had gotten it less spicy. He described it as "more painful than spicy". I also ordered a serving of the fried cheese sticks which were really good for $6.50. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce though as it felt like it was missing something. I recently tried T4 for the first time, and this west coast boba chain is a great addition to any boba-lover's list of boba spots. A brand new location opened in Eugene, OR off of Patterson St. and it's already been a popular spot for UO students. T4 has a large sweet and savory food menu which was something I'm not used to! Like a lot of boba shops these days, T4 lets you adjust the sweetness and ice level in your drink. The boba was cooked to perfection, and was a refreshing pairing to the popcorn chicken and matcha bubble waffle. The basil popcorn chicken was a little dry, but was crispy and full of Asian, umami flavors. And you can never go wrong with a bubble waffle... this was the first time I had the choice of the matcha flavor and it did not disappoint! The staff was fun and friendly, and the interior is very on brand. There is limited seating so you might have to take your boba to go if it gets busy. Go check 'em out! We recently moved up from Long Beach, and were mildly disappointed with the quality of boba joints. Enter T4. It's got the best boba we've found in Eugene, with all the modification options that I'd expect (some places don't let you adjust sweetness!) Unfortunately, I'm one of those poor souls who can't have caffeine after 2pm if I'm going to sleep at night. Usually, I get a passion peach smoothie with boba, but last time I got a honey peach smoothie (half sweet) with boba and it was awesome. My wife has gotten the teas (usually half sweet, half ice), and those have been great, as well. Definitely the place to go if you're looking for good boba in Eugene! read more

My go-to boba tea place in Eugene. My favorite is the winter melon tea - light, flavorful and refreshing and a perfect treat for a hot day. I usually get the lychee jelly with it for an added kick. On my most recent visit I tried the mango coconut milk with green tea jelly and angel pearls. The creaminess of the coconut milk was a great complement to the fruity mango and the green tea jelly was an absolute delight. You can customize the sweetness and ice level in most drinks and they sell snacks as well! They have seating available and it always looks clean. Lastly, I love their stamp card reward system. I like the tea, but it isn't cheap and twice now I've gotten hot tea with boba, paid extra for boba, only to realize after I left that boba wasn't included. If these were bargain prices or boba wasn't enough charge, maybe I wouldn't mind, but when I'm paying over $6 a drink, it's irksome. I was going to just email or message the company privately, but that information isn't readily available, so public review it is. If they address the issue with me I will certainly update this. TL;DR Every drink and food item has been delicious. The tapioca pearls always taste fresh. More toppings and customization available than other shops in town. The details: I've come here once a week for a few months now ordering a different drink and a different snack each time and every single thing has been delicious. The basil popcorn chicken in particular is fantastic. The tapioca pearls are perfectly cooked and taste very fresh. My main gripe with some of the other boba shops around is that the boba is often very soft and waterlogged like it has been sitting around in a very diluted simple syrup (or even just water) for hours and hours. At T4 that is not the case at all and they also give you about twice as many tapioca pearls as any other boba shop in town. They are also one of the few boba shops in town that have grass jelly (tastes minty), coffee jelly, and a hot ginger milk tea (with large slices of real ginger). I'm really happy to find a place that lets you adjust the sweetness without it changing the flavor amount. At some of the other boba shops in town when I'd ask for it less sweet they would tell me that the sweetness and flavor are from the same syrup or powder so less sweet will only mean less flavor. I'm very glad that they at least let me know of course. Currently the sitting area has been closed, it wasn't always that way. I hope they reopen it soon since it is the only downside. Lately I just walk around the corner and sit in the park. Conclusion: Great boba shop for drinks and snacks. Lots of customization and options. I literally walk past other places that have boba just to get to T4. They are also becoming my top spot when I need a fried food fix. read more
