Nestled between Victoria's Secret and Forever 21 lies this oasis of a boba shop. I'm not completely sure why it's been reported that this Bobahead in Valley River Center is closed, because it is very much open and running! Bobahead offers kiosk and counter service, so whether you enjoy the convenience and quickness of ordering yourself, or you prefer the "human touch" of ordering from an employee, this location ensures you will be satisfied. 3 words: peach oolong tea. And boba. With lychee. So, okay, actually 7 words. But these 7 words were all I needed to complete my lazy afternoon wandering around Valley River Center. The achilles heal of many boba tea establishments is using weak tea as a base. I'm happy to report that, although they do offer various smoothies and non-tea options, Bobahead's oolong tea is actually good tea and I would happily drink it plain. I had a bit of a sweet craving today, so I chose to make it 100% sweet and add boba and lychee. It was the perfect combo of sweet and bitter and I couldn't stop myself from slurping it all down as soon as I got home. I will be back to Bobahead again and will probably order the same thing because it was just too delicious! read more

Absolutely fantastic! I came in today (12/20) in the morning and the lady working behind the counter was so genuinely kind and happy to help me. This was my first visit and she gave me several suggestions about what to try, and even suggested something new! I had the brown Sugar tea with boba and it was like drinking perfection! I didn't catch her name sadly, but she was an absolute joy. I will come here every time I come to Valley River Center. read more

"Manager Racist?" Treated me unfair, differently I have been Bobahead's customer for over three years, but recently twice shopping experiences at VRC Bobahead are the worst consumption experience ever in my life. They are all ruined by the same mean Bobahead manager at VRC. On Valentines' day, she was my server. When I got my drinks and asked her for sealed cover, she rejected my request. It's COVID-19, and I take the cover thing very seriously. Because the lids she gave me was not covered completely, I asked for the sealed ones, which is safer. After she rejected my request, I didn't say anything but bought another two drinks and emphasized sealed cover when I ordered. Three days later, which is today, I went to VRC Bobahead again. I ordered my drinks and emphasized sealed cover with the server. This time my server was not the manager. While I was waiting for my drinks, the manager who served on Valentine's day came out from the back, took my drink, and asked me, "sealed cover?" again, which I said when I ordered with my server today. I don't know why she jumped in and asked me the question. She's not even my server today. Just want to make sure I'm the girl who wants sealed cover on Valentine's day? Finally, my server called me and gave me my drinks. I asked for a bag, my server was going to give me one, but the VRC mean manager stopped her and rejected my request again. According to Oregon law, I understand that stores cannot provide customers plastic bags freely, but I could give 5 cents to buy one. The manager did not even offer me a choice to buy one. The only thing she said, "According to state law, we cant give you the plastic bag." From my past experience at Bobahead, they usually give consumers plastic bags when ask. I have no idea why this time is different. Honestly, this is not a big thing, but I have reason to believe that she's treating me unfairly because I am me, who's the girl asked for sealed cover on Valentine's day! I don't know how I make her mad at me and decided to treat me differently. She is the first person who makes me feel been treated discriminated. I feel so upset. read more

Totally obsessed with Boba tea drinks!! Bob ahead satisfies my tests buds for sure! The crystal boba they use is delicious and also blends beautifully with the tea and sweeteners. I actually found myself wishing they put even more in my drink. I like that they have a stamp card and eventually I will get a free drink. I also love their drive through option. Being able to cruise in and grab my drink without even leaving my car is a huge bonus! Can't wait to go back! read more

Nice place but customer service is terrible . I don't understand if it was because of our race , but the lady in the front completely ignored us and asked the people behind us if they were here first. Did she think we would lie about cutting? I don't understand why she would judge us other than because of our color . I am Mexican and I was with my brothers when this happened . This place was pretty good, very helpful service. It save me from a boba tea withdrawal. Friend of mine never had boba tea, so we give this place a try. We order 5 drinks from this place, and all the drinks come out just as expected. However the coffee jelly was to soft, did not have the crunch normally I would have. read more

I'm only giving this place one star because it's the only way that I can post a review. In all honesty given the lack of quality Customer Service this place deserves no stars. No greeting from employee. When i initiates the greeting he stared blankly and asked "what can i make you?" Ok... cool. (After witnessing him carry on a lengthy conversation with an employee from a restaurant next door, I found his standoffish attitude interesting). After placing my order he fiddled with a cup for 7 seconds.. Goes to the back, returns with a mop and bucket, proceeds to mop an area of the floor for a few minutes then finally decides making my drink was next on his list of priorities.Had I not paid prior to receiving such horrible service. I would have never excepted the drink nor paid. There was no closing statement. There was no "thank you for your purchase". Nothing. He sat my drink on the counter and walked away. I'm from the bay area and have tasted 20+ boba places and Bobahead is the closest to the flavors I love back home. The plain milk tea is a perfect combo between sweat milk and tea. The boba add a chewiness while the lychee (my favorite) added chewiness and a little fruity sweetness. Overall very good. Will DEFFINETLY go back! read more

I love this store! Whenever I go to Eugene and stop at the mall I always have to pick up a new drink. So far my favorite is jasmine milk tea without any toppings. I'll be honest, I like my milk tea pretty sweet. I ordered a matcha milk tea with boba. This tasted like dirt. Absolutely zero sweetness, and I've had a lot of milk tea, all matcha, at other places. Just completely bitter, and little to no matcha flavor. Boyfriend ordered the taro, which was slightly better. I would avoid this place or at least avoid the matcha. read more

this is the only place i like to get my boba teas from! they offer a variety of teas to pick from, but the milk tea is my favorite! i usually get the honey milk tea or honey green tea which are both very sweet! ive tried their strawberry creama and other flavors and not really a fan of the fruit drinks. coffee creama itself is quite good. the packaging and the whole aesthetic of the place is really cute! read more
