This place catapulted into my faves list when I learned I get the holy grail of drinks here: jasmine green tea with pudding. Have since been back several times. You can get extras like pineapple puree for a mere 25 cents. The service at the drive through is friendly and quick. Come here a lot with my boyfriend, he loves boba. I'm not the biggest fan of boba itself, but I do like to get teas, smoothies, and slushies. Lots of variety here and (paid) additions to any drink. Today I got the golden oolong tea with lychee, he got the strawberry milk tea with lychee and boba. Both were good, mine not so sweet but as expected! Prices aren't terrible, about $5 for a regular size and then boba is like 50 cents, lychee is like 75 cents. Order ahead to save time, lines are usually long. I've been to Bobahead many times and have never had a bad order. I always get the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba and it's wonderful. It's never too sweet or too bland, and the people working there are always so friendly and very appreciative of tips. They have a stamp card that gives you a free drink after you get 10 stamps, which for me never takes long. Going both in-store and through the drive-thru is quick and easy - I never have to wait more than 5 minutes, even when they're busy. The store is clean, but the drive-thru speaker hasn't worked as long as I've gone - you just order at the window instead, which isn't a problem since they're so quick. read more

Ugh, I love this place. I love that they have 3 locations in town. I love their original bubble tea and their jasmine bubble tea. I love their coffee milk tea float. With my regular boba place on vacation, I needed my boba fix and I found this on Yelp. Coming from San Francisco, I've tasted my fair share of good and bad tasting boba drinks. This one is definitely not bad, I just didn't feel that it was really authentic. Plenty of the standard choices (taro, jasmine, mango, Thai and the traditional Hong Kong milk teas). They have crema specialty drinks--topped with with creamy foam and they offer their own version of a mud boba drink, which is what I call a dirty boba (brown sugar syrup running down the inside of the cup), as well as fruity teas and smoothies. All drinks come with your choice of topping (tapioca boba, crystal, jelly and popping bobas) for an additional cost. I was hoping that this place had maybe a couple of tables for seating, but it did not--I'm not clear if tables were ever offered and due to COVID it was removed. On the day of my visit there were only 2 people running the place--one to serve the walk in/counter orders and the other to monitor the drive thru line. Did I say drive thru? YES! They have a drive thru--this was a first for me and I thought that alone was a cool idea. We ordered the strawberry creama and the mud Thai. Both drinks were good and satisfied our fix, but it was not overwhelmingly delicious. If you need a quick fix, this is the place to go. If you are from the Bay Area, I would equate this place to be similar to Sharetea. The prices are reasonable and the selections are good. read more

I saw somewhere on here- probably an old sign- that said they use non dairy creamer- in reality they use lactose free creamer im told, and that the dairy is in the recipe itself so you can't swap it out with something like soy milk. That was a bit of a bummer but I'm glad you can substitute teas! I swapped in hibiscus tea so it was caffeine free and that mixed with some pineapple seasonal tea and strawberry popping pearls was really great! I ordered in and they had a self serve kiosk and my name was called when my drink was ready. I've been here many, many times during lunch hours. Too many times. Always friendly, accommodating, professional staff even though they are all quite young. Some of the teas are very sweet, but you can always ask them for 75%, 50%, or 25% sugar depending on your preference. I generally start at 75%, and I have an incredible sweet tooth. They regularly have new special toppings and flavors, some of which are pretty impressive like the Kumquat Orange and another with chunks of grape in it. They will also make just about anything as a smoothie/blended and mix different flavors to increase variety. Every tea ends up being around 5.50 each with one topping, and they haven't had a price increase in a year of price increases. It's a steal. I'm about as picky as someone can be, and I'm not really sure what more you could ask for. I guess some people want them to serve waffles like they did at the other location? How about some Canadian maple syrup with that? Actually, a maple syrup milk tea would be great. Blueberry would be solid too. The quality is consistent, the staff enjoys the work, and enjoys the teas they serve. Also, tip cash if you can. This isn't fine dining, but it is still food service, and they still get rude customers and business slows down in the Winter, especially if you primarily sell iced drinks. My 9 yo and I couldn't enjoy/finish our boba milk teas because there were so cloyingly sweet we both felt sick after the first few sips. We like sweet things but I have never experienced this level of sugar dissolved in a liquid before. We threw them out, which is unheard of in our boba-loving house. Very small amount of bobas for the high cost. If you go here be sure to ask for half sweet, less ice, if they'll make it that way. Super slow service, wayyyyyyyyyy too sweet, few bobas, high cost, lots of plastic waste. Regrets. Bobahead is a solid boba place and one of the best in Eugene. Their 11th location even has a drive thru, which is something I've never seen at other boba places. They also recently opened up a location on 13th right next to the UO campus, so if you're a boba addict and a student at the U of O, your wallet is in trouble. I've been to Bobahead probably over 50 times and tried the majority of their drinks. Most of their drinks are pretty good, but I would recommend the Mango passion, matcha crema, black tea crema, and their jasmine milk tea. The mango passion is a fruity and refreshing drink that is perfect for you if it's hot out and you just want something cold and light. Their jasmine milk tea is a must try for boba enthusiasts, as it is one of the most standard drinks at any boba store. Their matcha and black tea crema are more acquired tastes and my friends either love it or hate it. Probably the best milk tea I've had in Oregon that isn't a franchise (sharetea, zero degrees, etc). It's not watered down like other places and isn't made from powder. I've been by enough to fill a couple stamp cards and I have yet to be disappointed by the quality! I still need to try the food though. My only complaint is really just a personal preference. Everyone's always so friendly when they greet you at the pick up window. The food is also pretty good. Consider me as an avid boba enthusiast. I love love their milk tea drinks. You can't really go wrong with any of their drinks. One of my go-to order is a basic coffee milk tea or a mocha milk tea (they not on the menu, they make it as half coffee and half chocolate milk tea for me). I think the drinks are delicious in taste and also very aesthetically pleasing. #DoItForTheGram or #Yelp! They also have a pretty nice reward system, where your 10th or 11th drink will be free. When that happens, you bet I'm getting a large drink. My only wish is that if they had it a little bit cheaper in price based on the quantity they have to offer. They charge extra for getting a drink with no ice, which kinda sucks. Other than that, can't complain! Love their drinks. read more

My new obsession is the mango milk tea! My coworkers and I come here frequently, we work off of west 11th so it's nice to have something yummy so close. The people that work there are SO nice, I get great customer service here even when they're super busy. They make drinks fast and its always tasty. This location is so cute I love the interior design. It always smells really good when I enter and the colors make me feel welcome. The drive through feature is awesome, but I usually go in as I like the atmosphere. I've never been in the bathroom but my friend has and she said it's nice and clean. Loved finding this little bubble tea shop in Eugene! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming when we came in, excellent customer service. Something that they informed me is that ALL of the milk tea flavors are lactose free!! Which is amazing for someone like me who's lactose intolerant, so I didn't have to worry at all about needing a pill or hurting my stomach!!
