Two bento lunch: Chicken Katsu and Teriyaki Beef.

A hidden gem in San Leandro. We stopped by for late lunch. The restaurant was not busy and service was good. Interiors decor was very nice. We ordered the two lunch bento: teriyaki beef with California roll and chicken katsu with spicy tuna roll. The miso had good flavor. Food portions were larger than expected. The katsu was moist/tender and batter was crisp - not over fried. Katsu portion similar to what you get at L&L. Rolls were good and fresh. Tempura excellent. Plus: Good quality food at low price. Food portions were large. Cons: Katsu sauce a bit too salty. Minor. Note: restaurant places automatic 15% service charge to bill. Overall - We definitely will be back.

Revisited here after covid reopening and was pleasantly surprised! They redid the decor inside and it's pleasantly surprising! They have this new lunch combo menu that's a great combo of either two sushi related items or two non-sushi items, for a reasonable price. My husband and parents came here for Mothers Day and the total Bill was $75 total, not too bad. Actually had a more positive experience here than before covid! 10/10 would return

I can't emphasize enough that there are still lunch prices under $20 work Msicu generous portions! I usually dine around South Bay cause that where I live and work. It's really hard to find anything decent for less $20 for lunch nowadays post pandemic, especially Japanese cuisine. I've ordered their unagi don a few times. Each time, portions are very generous. Sometimes they cut the unagi into two pieces, sometime comes in one piece, perhaps depends on the chefs mood? I always pay extra for more broccoli because I like my veggies! I have to mentioned that they have have very good price for ramen. A Tonkatsu ramen bowl is only $13. It comes with a large piece of Tonkatsu on the side, which is nicely battered and deep fried perfectly each time I ordered them. But I didn't order them today. I've had not had their Bento boxes lately so I can't comment on that other than good price. I'm supposed that this place offers lunch menu items daily including weekend and holidays! I like how they changed the decorations inside. It very nice feel. As for service, I won't comment too much other than it's a one man kind of show for take out, dine in and taking takeout orders, plus answering the phone Service is not really what I concentrate on when I dine in an ordinary diner. But if l am dining at an upscale place, and I'm paying that kind of , I expect service to be at a certain level. I'm summary, I come here because of good food and their great prices. To me, it's a good deal for what I paid and what I get.

I don't know what I ordered but the total was over $100 for 2 people. The shrimp with sauce was really good. The roll we ordered was also good. The staff were very nice. I left my phone in the restaurant, drove around the block and came back and they opened the door and handed me the phone. I didn't have to go in and ask or find it.

This was a spread for 4 adults and we were very satisfied with our meal. I came here once before with a friend several years ago for lunch and liked it so I suggested it to my family. Experience: when we first were seated we were asked which beverages we wanted and were given time with the menu. The menu has a lot of pictures and I was worried that what we saw on the menu wasn't going to be what we got, but they are pretty accurate. The servers were nice and check up on us frequently which is good. The ambiance is relaxed with families as well as young and old couples. Food: Overall the quality of fish here taste pretty fresh and I love that they are not skimpy with the rolls. My parents really enjoyed the sauce that was paired with the Gorgeous roll. My personal favorite was the sexy salmon roll. This is spot is definitely on the pricey side, but the quality is good. Would definitely dine in again.

Delightful work-brunch spot. Felt safe eating inside. The staff was fast and courteous. The portions were large. The bento box was superb. Easy to find parking.

Been here a few times. Though they've been consistent with customer service, there was nothing great about the selections I've tried before. Today I tried something new and it was super delish. It's tempura over crab roll. However size is small for $17. Soooooo good that I had to order one more to go for the kids!

My Number 1 Sashimi Plate arrived last but the Cuts of Sashimi were good sized portions and fresh!!! My food tasted Wonderful and Service was Great and Attentive They do add a 15 Percent Gratuity to your Tab Automatically!!! FYI !!!! They have 3 LCD TVs for Entertainment!!!! Nice Atmosphere , Would be a great place to take a date!!! Zeng Sushi Delight is a Baller On a Budget Approved Establishment!!!!!

First time here Parking is kinda hard to find because it's a shared parking lot with many other popular businesses When we walked in they are offering inside seating with social distancing. There was only 2 other parties inside The venue is clean, spacious and nicely decorated The menu is paperless We ordered gyoza as appetizers. My son ordered deep fried California roll and I ordered the Victoria secret roll Food was flavorful. Service was ok I found it ODD that we were not given any miso soup or offered any tea, that seemed a little off for me. That is like going to a Mexican restaurant and not getting any chips or salsa.... I can go on and on with examples but you get the point Pictures on Yelp and food descriptions are way better than the restaurants own menu Go to Yelp to help you navigate food options

Came for Mother's Day today! This was my first time dining indoors in over a year, and it was way better than expected. The staff was all wearing masks, QR codes were provided to pull up the menu on our phones, hand sanitizer was provided at the cashier, and social distancing was enforced. Wow, this place really got a facelift during lockdown! I am in love with the addition of the cherry blossom decor hanging from the "trees" in the restaurant, and the giant painting of Mt Fuji on the giant wall. It really looked like new life was breathed into this place, and the new decor really added to the great experience of dining here. I treated my parents. My dad got salmon ramen, which looked absolutely DELICIOUS and I was a bit jelly and wanted ramen of my own. Maybe next time! My mom got a lunch special of pork katsu and tempura. I got a sashimi platter of tuna, salmon, hamachi, and albacore sashimi with miso soup and a salad. For the 3 of us, with tip, came out to about $75. I'm glad to see that they still use the same cute teacups, and they kept giving me tea refills, which I so appreciated. So happy to see Zeng Sushi Delight back in business! I've been here many times pre-pandemic, and my parents love coming here and enjoy bringing their friends here, and we've had several family dinners here. Welcome back, Zeng Sushi Delight!

This place is a gem! First of all, the interior is super cute. Next, the menu is the best menu I've ever seen. I love how the menu has huge pictures cause I love to see pictures of my food before I order. The food is really good. The snow dragon roll is the most unique roll I've had in a while. The sauce has honey mustard, which sounds weird, but it's so delicious. My new favorite roll! I also got the Raider roll, gyoza, baked mussels, and lion king. The owner came by to say hi and asked if everything was okay and our waiter was very attentive. Good service and great food! Highly recommend!

Teriyaki chicken
Loana P.

This was after we ask them to cook the chicken more because it was still pink. when we got the food back it was STILL pink. we were a group of six people and we all each ordered. two of us did not receive our food because they closed the kitchen and all they said was sorry the kitchen is closed. so we were left there with no food and after I asked to speak with the manager then they made the food but at that point we weren't even hungry anymore.

As we came in, we were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered a dozen raw oysters with hot sauce. We loved every bite of it, and it's fresh! I ordered Combo #1 with 1lb of clams and 1lb of mussels, medium spice, and Atomic sauce. This bag comes with 2 corns, 2 potatoes, and 4 sausage slices. A robot will deliver the order, and the waiter will give it to you, and before that, they will shake the bag for you, which I thought was very nice! The food was delicious and full of flavor, and not watered down! I will definitely come back here!

There was about a 20-minute wait before we were seated. We ordered wings, fries, garlic noodles, and our seafood bags. Some of the food came after our seafood bags, which was frustrating. I ordered Combo 2 with snow crab and 3/4 lb of head-off shrimp, potatoes, and sausage. I specifically chose no-spicy seasoning, but my bag was still spicy. There also wasn't much sauce, and what was there was too thin. The other person who ordered a seafood bag agreed that the sauce wasn't thick enough. I was honestly very disappointed with my seafood bag. The potatoes were served whole in the bag, and I only ate maybe 2 or 3 pieces of sausage and I can tell the corn is frozen prior to cooking. It's very mushy. I spent around $65 total on the bag, fries, steamed rice, and can soda. And I honestly felt like it was a waste of money. For $65, I expected the food and overall experience to be much better. The wings, garlic noodles, and fries were good, so those were definitely the highlights. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not compare to my experience at the Berkeley location. Another downside is that the drinks are bottled or canned, so there are no refills. Service could have been better as well. And honestly, the first red flag was the bathroom. It was horrible and made a bad first impression before we were even seated. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location. I expected much more, especially after having such a great experience at the Berkeley location.

We ordered the brussel sprouts, Venetian aracini, summer special with swordfish, and rigatoni bolognese. The brussel sprouts were tossed and coated in parmesan cheese. The pieces were crispy without feeling heavy and paired nicely with the chili aioli. The aracinis were delectable. The filling was creamy, but the tomatoes provided freshness to the dish. The swordfish is plated on top of basil pesto risotto. Never had swordfish before, but this had my tastebuds dancing. The piece of fish was decently sized, marinated and moist, although the risotto can get a bit heavy. The pasta was cooked to al dente, and there were chunks of meat throughout the dish. Solid plate of pasta. Came out already topped with parmesan cheese. Some of their menu items are a part of a pre fixe menu for $55 thats offered in the afternoons Monday-Friday such as the salmon, short rib, and chicken piccata options. There is a bar area located deep in the restaurant. The servers were attentive and checked up on us and refilled our water several times.

Not only did I find rock-star parking right in front, but we also had a reserved table by the window. It could not have been a more perfect birthday lunch. Parking is on the street, and spaces can be tight in that area. If you find one, snag it and be happy you did! Paradiso has a lovely menu, but I chose the $55 prix fixe lunch, which included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. I ordered the mussels, chicken piccata, and tiramisu. The mussels were absolutely delicious. This was my first time having them in a red sauce, so I was trying to be careful because I did not want to get it all over my birthday outfit! The broth was rich, flavorful, and so good that I wished I had more bread for dipping. But I made it do what it do! The chicken piccata was also delicious, especially with all those capers. My only criticism was that the chicken breast had not been pounded thin enough. The center was very thick and reminded me more of a chicken breast prepared for a sandwich. I left that thicker portion, but the thinner, properly pounded part was amazing. I received a special birthday dessert, which I shared with my companion, so I took the tiramisu home along with my leftover chicken. Let me tell you, that tiramisu was absolutely delicious. I would return just to order it for takeout! Our table also shared the crab and avocado salad appetizer. It was beautifully presented and delicious, but at approximately $27, I did not feel it was worth the price. Then again, Paradiso is not necessarily where you go when you are overly concerned about the cost, so keep that in mind. I was also underwhelmed by the focaccia. Four pieces cost $4, and I did not think it was worth it. With a prix fixe meal, I feel the bread should have been included. One thing to be aware of is that ordering the prix fixe lunch results in a 20% automatic gratuity being added to the entire bill. This was not clearly explained beforehand. It was not a major issue, but it was important to know when it came time to determine whether an additional tip was expected. The service was excellent. Our server knew it was my birthday and was attentive, accommodating, and never made us feel rushed. Each course arrived only after we had finished the previous one, so we were able to relax and enjoy the experience. The ambience was curious. It was an open space and is very loud. Other conversations were easily overheard so probably not a good place to go if you want a quiet meal. Overall, I give Paradiso 4.5 out of 5 stars. I am so glad I finally had the opportunity to visit, and I would definitely return.
