Our table ordered but the other table's order was taken until about 15 minutes later. (It was not busy, all other tables were finished and leaving.) They ran out of miso soup so the second table was finally served their miso way later. Our table finally received our food and finished before the other table received their food. Several of us had bento box. The Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura bento had one small shrimp and three veggies. Nothing to write home about. The miso soup was bland. The Unagi Rice bowl was flavorful. Great, spectacular service & great food! I have been here fore couple times since Sushi Ichimoto has been in the area for so many years. Recently came here for their lunch special and they offer not just great deals but also great food. I ordered the lunch special which you get one sushi roll, one hand roll, and a drink for great price. For the lunch special 3-items combo, I ordered the double salmon roll, hamachi hand roll, and iced tea. Both the sushi rolls are fresh and tasty with great portion. I love the decor which is Japanese style and they have TVs for you to watch games from what I remember last time when I dined in. Service was great and the staffs are friendly and attentive. We stopped for lunch after shopping as we were in the mood for some tempura. We ordered the 5pc shrimp tempura dinner and the spicy crunchy crab roll lunch special. Prices were reasonable, food and service were very average. We got a waiter who didn't look like he was even a waiter, just threw the menu at our table, didn't greet us or make eye contact throughout. Terrible Service. Will Never Return. While the sushi itself was good, the service we experienced was horrible. I visited with a friend who is completely new to sushi. They were very specific with the waitress about their preferences and explicitly stating they wanted basic sushi with no fish and no fish eggs. When my friend asked for advice and recommendations, the waitress dismissively told us to just look at the menu ourselves.Left without guidance, my friend mistakenly ordered a dragon roll, assuming it did not contain fish. When the roll arrived and we noticed the fish, we politely informed the waitress. She defensively stated it was what we ordered and immediately walked away. I approached her directly to explain that my friend cannot eat the dish as well to see if we can exchange it for something else. She interrupted me, refusing an exchange or a refund under the guise that the restaurant "does not like wasting food." The situation became incredibly awkward and unprofessional when the waitress came over to our table after I spoken with her. She restated what she told my friend and said we can either take it home or remove that was unwanted from the meal. After she then wanted to assist my friend by manually picking the fish off my friend's plate, then threw the eel away for them. Even told us that eel isn't a fish Eel is absolutely a fish. Furthermore, her logic made no sense. She refused to replace the roll to avoid waste, yet offered us free rice and extra soup instead.To top it all off, the restaurant enforces a mandatory forced tip, meaning we were forced to pay a gratuity for the undeserved service. It is highly unfortunate that this establishment would rather permanently lose a group of customers than simply accommodate a communication breakdown. read more

I picked the under the sea roll and the food came really fast, but when I took my first bite it was spicy and the menu said nothing about it being spicy. For the amount of food that you got at a most reasonable price I'm not sure how this business makes any money. I had the Katsu pork with sashimi and California roll. For $16 I was full. Not sure how many places can offer so much food for a reasonable price. I did have to wait a longer period of time for the food as there was a large party in front of us. The food was really fresh and delicious. We decided to get an extra lion king roll bc wow. I didn't really care for the California roll but my son sure did. Sushi Ichimoto was one of the decent sushi spots that was still open at night, so I stopped by for a quick post workout meal. The outside is bright and lit up, so it catches your attention, while the inside is not as bright, and looks modern and simple. There is plenty of parking the shared lot as well. I ordered salmon nigiri and salmon roll to go. Although the portions of the salmon roll was generous, the quality of the salmon was just okay.
