We split the Haha Roll and it was really yummy, the cream cheese was so good. We also split the potstickers which were pretty good, they were meat and veggie. The black garlic tonkatsu ramen is what I ordered and I added enoki mushrooms. The flavor on the all the ingredients except for the noodles was perfect - I just thought that in my very personal opinion the noodles didn't hold the flavor as intensely as the broth tasted. We came here on a weekend afternoon and they were pretty busy, but there was only one server and what looked like one cook so the service was on the slow side. We ordered the chicken katsu curry and the spicy garlic miso ramen with tofu. My partner enjoyed the chicken katsu curry but it could have used more vegetables. The curry was not too thick and the katsu was also good. The ramen was also pretty tasty, though I did wish for some more vegetable variety. Overall, this place is a solid ramen and curry place. I actually am so surprised for Haha's mid-rating. I think they're a great DT staple, especially for a lowkey dinner. Now that the weather is getting chilly again, I have been wanting warm soups-Haha particularly fits that perfectly. They pack their to-go orders well. I like their spicy garlic tonkatsu. I recently did it To Go order here and ordered the Crunchy roll. When I received my order, I thought I got the wrong item so I went back to confirm with them if this is the Crunchy roll I am expecting spicy crab instead of regular. The worker tells me, "no it's real crab. That's how we have it in our menu," so she takes out her menu and I'm pretty sure it said spicy crab online and when she showed it, it said spicy crab on the menu as well then she changed her excuse, saying that they don't have spicy crab at the moment. Visited this place on a recommendation from one of my coworkers. Upon entry we were greeted by the waitress who promptly seated us. After reviewing the menu I opted to try the spicy Tonkatsu ramen and appetizer chicken karaage. The food came out in order and within an overall decent time. The ramen was good, broth was flavorful, good amount of noodles and veggies, med-hard boiled egg (I prefer soft boiled), but only came with 2 this slices of meat. I'm not sure why this place has bad ratings. The quality isn't the best but I do think it's one of the better ramen I've had in the east bay, besides going to Oakland or Berkeley. Their broth is less greasy than Ramen101 but this time I opted for udon since I love the thick noodles. I'd say, I'm more of a fan of Marugame Udon since their noodles are fresh and hand pulled. Whereas here I can tell it's a store bought noodle type. The egg wasn't runny or soft boiled. I should've asked for that instead. The tempura veggies were yummy! However, I wish they added more batter. My favorite out of this meal was the spicy tuna roll. It tasted fresh and it was a good portion (we ate some before I snapped a photo) The workers here are the sweetest. He packed the noodles for my friend in her to-go container and constantly checked on if we needed water. 10/10 service :) It was empty on a rainy Wednesday night for dinner but more people started to come in as time went by. It was right before the lunch rush, so there were only a few other customers there. The place itself is clean and definitely nothing fancy. It is a small restaurant that seems very affordable with good service. The server sat us right away and came by to check on us often. The food came out quick. We ordered the *spicy tonkotsu ramen 3/5 It was OK, but not spicy at all. It could've also used some garnishes on the top. *Lunch Bento box with chicken katsu and beef teriyaki 4/5 It was pretty good, but nothing outstanding. *Dynamite roll 3.5/5 Pretty decent and hearty. I think this place is mediocre, but I wouldn't mind going back and trying other menu items. It is worth a second try. The prices are good for the portion and quality. At this point, it has become our favorite go to spot as the bento dinner, sushi and other soups are pretty tasty as well. It definitely has never disappointed. The service is also very good. so i sat down and had dinner here at HAHA sushi Ramen and I was very displeased with the portion of "just broth " that I ordered. when you sit down to eat here they overload you with portion and for me to ask them to please fill the broth container up because it was half empty. instead of filling it up the manager came out to ask me what the problem was and tried to explain that they can not add more broth. I feel that was a very greedy response from her. It seems they only want your money here and not good customer service. Something as simple as filing up the container rather than it being half full, should have been a simple ask. I will never eat here again. I ordered medium spice, which was actually spicy-er than I expected. It was a very large portion, so I had leftovers. The noodles were so stiff and hard...That was such a turn off for me. The spicy tuna roll was ok...not as spicy as I prefer..but I devoured it regardless. The chicken katsu was over cooked :( I was disappointed. To be fair: we showed up an hour before closing time. I think the size of the sushi rolls are pretty decent, but you can tell the fish is not that fresh and the flavor overall of the rolls are pretty much basic. I've had their ramen multiple times and it's also pretty bland but it's a good meal if you're sick.
