Kathy is amazingly talented! She did the exact design I wanted on this Gel-X set and even stayed late to ensure my nails were perfect. Due to the complex design, and previous gel-x removal, it was $112 (not including tip), but it was so worth it in my opinion. I'll definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, after today, I will not be returning. Today was my 3rd time visiting this nail salon. On my previous visits, I can say I left happy with my services. This visit was the complete opposite!! I honestly thought I was in the wrong salon because the techs did a horrible job. I spent $124 on services, and I left a 15% tip out of grace, but a tip wasn't deserved. Once we got in the car and compared our results, I was very disappointed. Over $140+ to get sloppy results is unacceptable. My daughter got a deluxe pedicure that was done faster than my express pedicure, but we ended with the same atrocious results. Our nails are unevenly filed, polish was streaky, grainy, and had bubbles in it. Some parts of my nails didn't even have polish on them! I could have executed our services with better results, and I'm not a licensed nail technician. The most infuriating thing wasn't even my services. I don't speak the nail technician's language, but it's unprofessional when staff speaks about a customer. A customer was checking out, and I overhead her asking a question about her services. The tech answered, the customer left, and then the tech started stomping around and commenting about the customer that left. Extremely rude!! Body language is universal, I don't need a translator to interpret what was being said. During my previous visits, the owner was there, and this time, there was no owner. I guess you only get decent service when she's supervising.

I've come here 3 or 4 times now and it's officially my new nail salon. I've gotten the deluxe pedicure and either a full acrylic set or fill each time and I'm always happy with the shape (I'm kinda picky) lol. The women also go out of there way to make sure you're comfortable, attended to and happy with the results which I appreciate because I'm a people pleaser and am always afraid of being "rude". The aesthetic is also clean, bright and modern which is my thing! If you're trying to decide where to go, definitely stop by here! I'll post my latest set - short isn't my usual go but they made sure it was exactly what I wanted because I was a bit hesitant

I used to come here when they first opened and loved it - it has dramatically gone downhill and now its so expensive for very poor work. The nail tech seemed very irritated and unhappy to be there. Do not recommend this salon at all! Also please pay attention to what you are being charged for - Apparently if your nails are this length, they will charge $10 extra and when I asked her why I was getting charged for that amount for a tip that I did not consent to, she tried telling me it was for the tip of my nails.. I'm not stupid. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a relaxing atmosphere. The space was spotless, beautifully organized, and felt both welcoming and professional. My nail technician Carol was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented. They took their time to make sure every nail was shaped perfectly and the polish application was flawless. I especially appreciated how gentle and precise they were throughout the entire process. I have been a regular customer but I have to say I had pedicure like 2 weeks ago and the lady didnt do a good job taking my ingrown nails out. I still have pain in my toes. Today I had my builder gel fill done after 2 weeks, they charged $25 for design on my nails. I DO HONESTLY BELIEVE THATS A LOT FOR A VERY SIMPLE DESIGN. . read more

Love this place. I usually get gel builder every 3-4 weeks, and I'm always so impressed with the results. I've never had any lifting or chips, and given how brutally hard I am on my nails, I'd expect something to happen to them in a 3-4 week period - but nope! I also love how they always take the time to smooth out the cuticle area; so as my nails grow out, there's no noticeable line between the gel builder and my natural nails, making it look seamless and polished - just like regular gel polish (but wayyy more durable)! Unlike other salons, if you have a specific look in mind, you can trust them to bring it to life. And more importantly, they are super open to feedback. If something looks crooked or you want your nails shorter, maybe the gel doesn't look right or the artwork....you can communicate that to them without worrying about any negative attitudes. They genuinely want you to leave happy, which makes such a difference compared to all the other places I've been in this area. It's unlikely you'll have a mishap but sometimes they happen and if they do, you can feel comfortable going back in and asking them to fix it! Recently, I noticed a small bubble in my toe polish the day after my appointment. I had to rush back as I was heading out of town (literally) and, despite being busy, they quickly fixed it for me without any fuss. I was in and out in 10-15 minutes. Honestly, given my stress level at the time, their professional and friendly demeanor was refreshing. They're empathetic and they truly want you to be happy with the services you paid for. Oh.....and if you're a runner, they know how to do a proper "runner" pedicure. Just mention you run a lot and often lose toenails, and they'll understand the care your feet need to avoid losing more. Highly recommend. The end. :) (They also have the best channels on all of their screens. I find myself mesmerized every time I go in). read more

It was my Grandma and I's first time. Service was great. Staff was friendly. Both manicure and pedicure turned out better than expected! I recommend Tina for your gel manicure and Katie for your gel pedicure. My Grandma said Kim did a great job on her pedicure as well! Everyone was very attentive and focused greatly on detail. read more

PHENOMENAL ALL AROUND EXPERIENCE!!! They deserve the highest ratings possible. Talk about the most genuine, friendliest, attentive, incredible nail technicians (Angela and Le) and owner/manager I've ever come across in all my 20 years of getting my nails done. From the shaping of nails and patience/attention to detail blew my mind. I accidentally stumbled upon this place because my kiddos wanted to go to the nearby Chuck E Cheese. I was about to give up on coming here because of the difficult parking situation in the plaza but I'm truly glad the effort definitely paid off. I live in HB and plan to live in Seal Beach soon but I'm definitely going to consider the drive to come to this place for future appointments. You definitely won't regret it!! You can tell these people take their jobs seriously and love what they do. read more

I had a gel mani and deluxe pedicure here yesterday. I was coming from a nearby shop where the tech never showed. I drove from 30 minutes away so I wanted to stay in the area. The employees at Zen are really friendly and clean. They helped me find colors I was looking for. Unfortunately I'm not satisfied with my nails. After one day my gel polish has chipped. My pedicure was enjoyable but my nails were cut so short and crooked. I'm leaving for vacation soon so I'm really disappointed. I guess moving forward I'll need to say exactly how I want things done. read more

I had a very poor pedicure experience with this place yesterday. The pedicurist filed too roughly and left me with 2 cuts and my toe is still in pain the next day. She failed to consider my request to shape the toenail as a square and she continued to file the sides. Another nail technician walking by had to advise her on how to do things. I suggest the business not take clients who they can't work on, or ask the client to wait until someone with more experience can provide the service. read more

Really lovely salon with friendly employees, but sadly one of the worst manicures I've gotten. My nails were filed unevenly and there is a large gap between my cuticles and where the polish starts. There are also bubbles in the polish and it chipped quickly. I'm disappointed because the experience was great but ultimately I need a manicure that will last. read more

I walked in for a mani pedi. Had a gel color in mind. They nailed it!! Ended up getting gel builder that was recommended as I had damaged nails due to a prior acrylic job (not them, another place). Loved my nails, loved the recommendations, loved my pedicure. Would recommend and will be back. Oh and saw across from me someone getting Gel X nails and WOW!! That's next!! read more

I'm so happy I found this place! I have to keep my nails pretty basic for work, but what drew me in was all the nail art on there yelp page. It's hard to find a place that can do builder gel, hard gel or soft gel. They offer that, plus acrylic and I think they even offer dip powders. This is my new go to nail salon. They did such a good job of cleaning up my nails and my cuticles. The salon was very clean and the chairs were very comfortable. read more

My favorite nail salon I've been to. Always using fresh tools and it's very clean. Friendly staff and the owner is incredibly accommodating. My nails always look absolutely perfect. Been here a couple of times since they opened.,And let me tell you their customer service went down hill. DON'T MAKE AN APPT THEY ARE NOT PROMISED. After today's visit I will not be returning , the nail techs are always rushing not wanting to give u what you ask rather what they think it's easier and quicker for them , DO NOT RECOMMEND They prioritize who got to the salon first rather than the ones who called to make an appointment . They had me sitting in acetone for almost an hour . Got here at appt time 430 was sitting in acetone until 530 one whole hour ?!? The guy who ended up attending me was rushing had to redo one hand to top it off they wanted to charge my sister a service she didn't even ask for .. the quality is not worth the wait or stress they put you through.. read more

If you're more sensitive, ask if they have a numbing agent and pop some Motrin ample time before your appointment. My tech, Kiley was outstanding. One waxed everything off forgetting I was getting a play boy, and the other time the girl doing my playboy didn't do it correctly. I assumed she didn't know what a triangle playboy looked like because when she was done , it didn't look like a triangle at all. And staff gets rude when you tell them how you wanted it after not going it correctly. Not coming back to this locations again. Staff needs to be trained more. Staff also needs to confirm what kind of wax the client is getting before waxing everything off .

As a man going in, it is much different. A lot more stress and the inuendo of me/her getting the waxing done. Lots of small talk to get our minds off the task. Not a normal event in most guy's lives, but well worth it. She was professional and I love her laugh. It lightened up what can be a sometimes painful, no so relaxing interaction. I wanted to go with a pink polish on my toes, however, I was asked if I wanted gel instead of polish 3 separate times because "polish will chip in 2 days". She also asked me which color I wanted on my toes 3 separate times even though I had picked my color already, and then ended up selecting a color for me. I'm happy with the overall results of the pedicure but the process itself was a bit stressful. Payment - I paid with card and tipped cash and was told "next time pay with cash". Overall, I was happy with the end results and the speed and availability, but there are some things service-wise that could be improved upon.

I texted her number letting her know i messaged through the booking site. No response. A few days later I got charged $25 as a no show fee. Not super impressed with the communication interface and the lack of transparency. I'll take responsibility for agreeing to scheduling the next appointment, but I won't be returning.

Wow, I had the most wonderful experience at Zen Nail Lounge! I decided to treat myself and get my nails done for my upcoming engagement tea ceremony, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It was actually really spontaneous since I wasn't planning on doing my nails but I had recently broken my thumb nail and it was really bothering me. Holly did an amazing job on my manicure. My nails were a bit of a mess when I walked in, and she managed to repair and transform them into something truly beautiful. The attention to detail and her precise work were outstanding. What made my visit even more special was getting to know Holly. Her life story is quite remarkable, and chatting with her made the experience so personal and enjoyable. Tracy worked her magic on my pedicure. I was in dire need of some pampering, and she made my feet look and feel incredible, which is difficult since I'm on my feet a lot. But it's not just the fantastic nail services that impressed me. The customer service at Zen is top-notch. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like a valued guest. I got an amazing manicure and fill with gel builder and it's great because I have very big sensitivity to acrylic and it was such a great option since I love having long nails. This technique is used in Europe but very few salons offer it as acrylic alternative. I love the design thar my nail tech did for me & the quality is perfection. I'm super picky and I really appreciate the great job they did all my cuticles ! I suggest you definitely check them out. They're clean friendly and very professional. I also got a pedicure there, which was amazing as I get a lot of hangnails and they do an excellent job. I want to mention they are super clean , newly remodeled & do everything perfectly to take care of my pretty little hands & feet! read more

Highly recommend. I got the CBD pedi (not actual CBD) + gel x ombré. I travel for work and have probably been in 30 different nail salons the past few years and I absolutely LOVE this place. Went here for my first time today. They got me in immediately and I wasn't sure what service I wanted on my hands. They helped me pick the best solution for me (gel builder) and I absolutely love it. I'm a perfectionist and Aly lived up to my standards on my nails. My toes also look great and pricing was about the same as everywhere else I've been. The lady at the front was also so sweet.
