Wish I could give a negative number instead of 1 star! This is honestly the worst Zara I have been to! Went in there two weeks ago and the cashier forgot to put my shoes (I had purchased) in the bag when I realized it I had gotten home (over an hour away). Called the next morning and they assured me they would put them in their safe for me to pick up two weeks later, as I assured them that was the only time I was able to pick them up since they were not able to ship them to me even though it was their mistake. I show up two weeks later as I said I would and no shoes to be found. I literally had to travel to get a refund, and the worst part the employees were so insincere. The manager did not even apologize, stay away from this Zara seriously horrible customer service. If I worked there I would have offered to look for the shoes at other locations just for the inconvenience all they told me was to call the customer service wow for their mistake! Also the shoes were a sale item so literally impossible for me myself to probably find them again. If you do happen to come here check your bags before you leave. read more

The line is consistently a disaster. Regardless of the time of day or whether you wait in the women's, children's, or men's department line, there will be at least a dozen people ahead of you. Expect to spend no less than 30 minutes (if you're lucky) or even more than an hour waiting in line. The store is a mess and has inconsistent stock when it comes to sizing. A lot of the accessories are damaged and none of the employees are able to help me find specific items or sizes that I've looking for. They spend a lot of time hanging out in the fitting room area talking to each other while clothes end up piling on the floor. Last time I visited, after waiting forty minutes in line, I asked one of the workers who was walking around (not doing go backs or attending to a guest, just sort of straightening up piles of clothes) if I could speak to a floor manager. Another twenty minutes passed before the floor manager came to the registers to approve a transaction and they walked away from me even when I asked them if they were the floor manager and if I could talk to them! I even confirmed with the worker (when I finally got to the front of the line!!) that she was the floor manager. I've never experienced customer service this poor and the only reason I go to Zara now is to return gifts others have gotten me. It's not worth spending one hour in line to buy anything from here! read more

Many times I visit Zara store in Thousent Oaks mall. I like a fashion and good price , but register service -- terrible.Casherr workers very rood, and on 2 section -- kids and women's working only one register station. After rood service I don't want to come anymore. read more

Thousands of people complain about Zara and their customer service but this brand and their owners don't care about their customers and customer experience.. they are always understaffed in every Zara store.. each and every one of them. They always made the excuse they don't have enough people wanting to work for them. Even before pandemic. This can't be true as no other store has the same complaint. And if nobody wants to work for them then perhaps they donos their employees what they should so no one want to work for them. In either way this just screams the brand's ignorance towards their employees and customers. Another issue is they make the cashiers hang and put back returns which delays their already long lines "due to being understaffed " as they claim. Mens department registers are almost always CLOSED . They only open womens and even this has fewer registers working and rest closed. And when a customer approaches them after waiting half a day in line their store managers and employees have the worse attitude.. all their store employees have bad attitude. I hope this store eventually goes down so these greedy owners who only care for their money understand customers are the once giving them business and without them they are zero!!!! read more

The staff and manager are the rudest I have ever encountered. Disrespectful and arrogant, even to my children. I have never had an argument in my life with any retailer. I am normally polite to a fault, but they pushed me over the edge. There was absolutely no reason for the in encounter I had with the cashier and when the manager came over to help, she was WORSE! Even more horrible than the cashier. I really can not understand why or how they can treat their customers in this way. Complete incompetence in customer service. Is it company culture? Do they value their customers? read more

One of my absolute favorite places to shop! Hives selection of everything with many sizes....one of the best Zara stores that I have been too....the kids section is my FAV! read more

I do like this location since it's bigger and has a good selection of menswear. The staff were cordial but I don't expect much customer service from them. I find that this is the case in all of the Zara stores I've been to. They make the shop look expensive but you're really just getting cheap clothes at cheap prices comparatively speaking. read more

Seriously, I know they have a huge sale going on, and it's pretty crazy in there, but when you have 10 plus people waiting to try clothes on, and over half the fitting rooms are empty, and you can't even pay attention when people are leaving, even though they just handed you their clothes to go back, you have a problem. read more

Shopping during the holidays can be very stressful! I came here on Black Friday in the evening and I was looking for a sweater for my husband. I always come here to shop never have I been so disrespected in my life specially when I just spend over 400 dollars at this store and for Teresa to have such poor customer service was unacceptable! She embarrassed me in front of a lot of customers when we ask her a simple question! She said she didn't care if she wanted she can return all the stuff we bought just because she was lazy to put the coats we bought in the correct place!!! Instead of her shoving everything in a plastic bag.. We then ask to speak to a manager at this point she still continue being passive aggressive towards us makes me not want to ever come back to this store! I'm so upset that after spending my money at this store I get embarrassed in front of other customers!!! In top of everything I have experience I had to also hear them laugh and talk about how they where a dollar short on the register!!! Honestly how unprofessional can they be!!! Zara needs to re train the staff and improve customer service. This is what a $200 dollar purchase on each coat looks like at Zara!!! So unbelievable that's I just spend all this money at Zara so they can put my coats in nasty smelly bags!!! The only reason why I accepted this nasty garbage bags is because it's raining really bad outside!!! I thought Zara was suppose to be top quality not thrift shop looking trash bags!!! read more

A bit disappointed, I usually order from Zara website. Saw a dress last night but was going to be shopping in Glendale. Many malls in Southern California opens at 9:30. When I called, Elba answered. I am always pleasant when greeting staff, it's important to be mindful of how you show up for others. I was pleasant and polite. She was very abruptly, asked me how she could help. It was 9:40am. I asked if she could check stock on an item. She then informed me that they were closed. LOL.. Wait, but you are answering the phone. It's too much to check your stock for a dress. Zara is extremely technological savvy. They have a great inventory management system, on line and in their store. How disappointing, instead of checking stock, she ask that I wait 20 minutes and call back. I recognize all employee aren't created equal. Some employees will exceed customers expectations and others will disappoint. Elba you are disappointing. Then I called back at 10:30. I asked who I was speaking to, the person pretended she could hear me. She kept saying Hello! Instead of ordering the dress or going to the store, I decided to wait for their summer sale. If Elba would have confirmed stock, i would have went to pick up the dress and probably made other purchases. Thanks Elba, you saves me some $$$$ read more

Zara's massive 35,000 sq. ft. store in Glendale Galleria opened on 8/19/2015. The men's section is big enough to be it's own store, so you can only imagine how large the women's section is. The only drawback to this location is Glendale Galleria has the most confusing layout of any shopping center that I've ever been to. As a first time visitor, I Googled prior and knew that Zara was on Level 2, Zone B between Macy's and JC Penney. But I couldn't find any floor number signs, floor maps with store guide, or a mall concierge. The parking also is a confusing and frustrating experience. Now that I've been there though that shouldn't be an issue in the future, I think. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would hands down. I've been to Zara's from all over the world & I have to say this is the worst one ever! The employees look like they are being forced to work there against their will. I was waiting in line to pay, I was the eleventh person in line, it took me 30+ min to pay! As soon as I got to the front one of the cashiers looks at us and says "oh there's no line in the kids department," I got so frustrated and I said, "thank you for telling us that after we waited in line for 30 min" RIDICULOUS. The cashiers were working sooo slow and looked like they were in pain. I left the store SO mad, I didn't even want to eat dinner. I got in line at 8:50 and didn't leave till 9:30 pm. I will never come back here again! They need to do something about this store, shut it down or change the employees. There is so many bad reviews & everyone is just saying the same thing. read more

I've been here a lot of times. Great sales, not every time I can find my size because I'm size 5, but clothes always great quality.

There is a reason for the poor reviews you will see at every Zara store; customer service is nonexistent. It would take too many paragraphs to describe to you all of the hoops they make you jump through to get a refund of a defective product. Suffice it to say that customer satisfaction is no concern of theirs. I'll stick to stores like Nordstrom where customer service is clearly a priority. Zara isn't all that great in regard to quality of merchandise or price point anyway. read more

This place is the worst. Their wifi for their registers went down so they claimed they were unable to do returns. Really bad customer service!!! I mean really bad!! I asked if I can return a children's dress at the adult section register to one of their employees in a suit tall gal, short hair, African American & her response was, "I don't know." Then she rolled her eyes at me like it was my fault that her employee made a mistake. The following day I called customer service at Zara and they never responded back to me. I love Zara's clothes and their prices but they need to take better care of their consumers. They have horrible ratings at ALL Zara locations. Now I know why. read more

Not the best store to shop at honestly. I have yet to find something in the woman's section that 1. Fits me 2. Actually looks decent. I was lucky enough though to snag a super cute Zara men's bomber jacket, yes men's. The sizing is so small that a men's small looked perfect on me. So the two stars are for that bomber jacket I found during a sale when the store was a huge, very huge, mess with things literally everywhere. I found it under a pile of men pants and did not let it go! Other than that bomber jacket I have yet to find anything else. The store is messy for the most part especially if they are having a sale. If they're having a sale don't even ask if they have a different size the employees will simply say if you didn't see it it is either lost in the store somewhere or someone has it. The employees do greet you at the door but other than that there is no real interaction or helpfulness. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT ZARA! As we all know the Zara After Christmas Sale is heavily waited for each year! My sister set a timer on her phone last night to make sure she didn't miss it! There was a boot she wanted so bad that she went to the store to get it! It's the red patent over the knee boot style # 50077-201. The boots were displayed in the store marked down to $89. When my sister approached the register she was told that she could not purchase the boot because it was blocked she was told that by Stephanie. Stephanie then snatched the boot from my sister and said there was nothing she could do and that she will not assist her any further and walked away. My sister then asked for her full name she refused to give her name saying she is the store coordinator and does not have to give her name. As you can see in the reviews already here Stephanie has a bad reputation! Her behavior was completely disrespectful and discriminatory! She did not put the customers concerns first and showed very poor customer service and appreciation! My sister shops at Zara quite often and this experience has jaded her to no longer be a customer. We will be pursuing this issue with corporate to insure that customers are treated with quality service and that the customers are valued and respected by the staff of the Zara company. A manager should be held accountable for her behavior on behalf of the company and this should be an embarrassment to the company. I hope that no one continues to patronize this company that employs these type of individuals as managers! read more

It has been 2 yrs since i've last shopped at Zara. Took a day off for myself and decided to hit the mall. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of those girls at the dressing room her name is Erika. After I tried like 5 items and came out to hand them to her she looked at me with a smile/grin and said please put the clothes back on the hangers next time. I really wanted to file a complaint against her but I had no time. I have never ever been asked to do that like ever and I have been to all the shops brand names to inexpensive shops. This is her job why would you expect me to do your job for you! That is very unprofessional and rude and Zara need to find better staff members not as lazy and impolite as Erika read more

I LOVE Zara- just not this location. the clothes are really cute but the employees here are just rude! What a nightmare! I ordered online to be shipped at this location. I have done so previously and had not had any problems. Its been over 2 weeks and said item was shipped. For 4 days I was chatting with online people, went to the store and called someone customer service. Neither online or the store wanted to hold accountability for the lost items. I just called the manager and spoke to a "Mojam"? left me on hold for 5 minutes never came back on the phone. No one has reached out, no one wants to email me a copy of the chats- really sketchy dodgy company. Essentially Zara is stealing my money! Just like all the other reviews, this place lacks customer service, but I think it's part of the company's culture (unfortunate). However, I do have to recognize 2 employees whom I've had a fantastic experience with, Juan and Ericka. Juan assisted me with looking for products that I did not see on the floor during their sale. He would stock check and update me as needed. He had a positive demeanor and it was a pleasure talking to him. Ericka, I've run into her a couple of times at the store, and she always delivers a positive and consistent service. The shirt I bought had a lipstick stain on it, and it was the last one in that size. I couldn't try it on because of the long fitting room wait, so she notated on the receipt that the shirt was purchased with a stain on it. Little gestures like this make a big difference! I've been in the store countless times, and usually no one will acknowledge your existence until you need help. The five star review is for Ericka and Juan! read more

Zara's policy on returns. Zara Glendale galleria, I am shopping for years here. Upon trying to return three clothes with tags but without receipt and only bank statement plus ID, they disclosed their return policy - "Without the original receipt there is nothing they can do". No store credit, no ability to look up the purchase via credit card or skew number. Apparently no proof the sale ever took place because the system is refresh every midnight and no records after to retrieve information from X date. So without the original piece of paper there is no proof anywhere that a customer ever made a documented credit card purchase intheir system!!!! This is insane. I understand not getting money back on my card. But not even a store credit?!! Seriously, ZARA definitely found a way to take customers money no matter what other documentation you present to show that you paid with your credit card for these items. When I ask the manager Caroline her full name she replied, "That is personal and I refuse to give my information ".So Zara forces you to accept bring back an unworn with tag item because you have no receipt to get a refund but the manager in charge decides to be unname! read more
