A bit disappointed, I usually order from Zara website. Saw a dress last night but was going to be shopping in Glendale. Many malls in Southern California opens at 9:30. When I called, Elba answered. I am always pleasant when greeting staff, it's important to be mindful of how you show up for others. I was pleasant and polite. She was very abruptly, asked me how she could help. It was 9:40am. I asked if she could check stock on an item. She then informed me that they were closed. LOL.. Wait, but you are answering the phone. It's too much to check your stock for a dress. Zara is extremely technological savvy. They have a great inventory management system, on line and in their store. How disappointing, instead of checking stock, she ask that I wait 20 minutes and call back. I recognize all employee aren't created equal. Some employees will exceed customers expectations and others will disappoint. Elba you are disappointing. Then I called back at 10:30. I asked who I was speaking to, the person pretended she could hear me. She kept saying Hello! Instead of ordering the dress or going to the store, I decided to wait for their summer sale. If Elba would have confirmed stock, i would have went to pick up the dress and probably made other purchases. Thanks Elba, you saves me some $$$$ read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would hands down. I've been to Zara's from all over the world & I have to say this is the worst one ever! The employees look like they are being forced to work there against their will. I was waiting in line to pay, I was the eleventh person in line, it took me 30+ min to pay! As soon as I got to the front one of the cashiers looks at us and says "oh there's no line in the kids department," I got so frustrated and I said, "thank you for telling us that after we waited in line for 30 min" RIDICULOUS. The cashiers were working sooo slow and looked like they were in pain. I left the store SO mad, I didn't even want to eat dinner. I got in line at 8:50 and didn't leave till 9:30 pm. There is a reason for the poor reviews you will see at every Zara store; customer service is nonexistent. It would take too many paragraphs to describe to you all of the hoops they make you jump through to get a refund of a defective product. The workers here are so nice & helpful. A girl named Liza in particular is my favorite employee at this location. Any time I come to this Zara, I always look for her because she's the most helpful and knows where everything is. I once had to return 10 things & she was so patient with me. I do like this location since it's bigger and has a good selection of menswear. The staff were cordial but I don't expect much customer service from them. Not the best store to shop at honestly. I have yet to find something in the woman's section that 1. Fits me 2. Actually looks decent. I was lucky enough though to snag a super cute Zara men's bomber jacket, yes men's. The sizing is so small that a men's small looked perfect on me. So the two stars are for that bomber jacket I found during a sale when the store was a huge, very huge, mess with things literally everywhere. I found it under a pile of men pants and did not let it go! Other than that bomber jacket I have yet to find anything else. The store is messy for the most part especially if they are having a sale. If they're having a sale don't even ask if they have a different size the employees will simply say if you didn't see it it is either lost in the store somewhere or someone has it. Zara's massive 35,000 sq. ft. store in Glendale Galleria opened on 8/19/2015. The men's section is big enough to be it's own store, so you can only imagine how large the women's section is. The only drawback to this location is Glendale Galleria has the most confusing layout of any shopping center that I've ever been to. As a first time visitor, I Googled prior and knew that Zara was on Level 2, Zone B between Macy's and JC Penney. But I couldn't find any floor number signs, floor maps with store guide, or a mall concierge. The parking also is a confusing and frustrating experience. Now that I've been there though that shouldn't be an issue in the future, I think. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT ZARA! As we all know the Zara After Christmas Sale is heavily waited for each year! My sister set a timer on her phone last night to make sure she didn't miss it! There was a boot she wanted so bad that she went to the store to get it! It's the red patent over the knee boot style # 50077-201. The boots were displayed in the store marked down to $89. When my sister approached the register she was told that she could not purchase the boot because it was blocked she was told that by Stephanie. Stephanie then snatched the boot from my sister and said there was nothing she could do and that she will not assist her any further and walked away. My sister then asked for her full name she refused to give her name saying she is the store coordinator and does not have to give her name. As you can see in the reviews already here Stephanie has a bad reputation! Her behavior was completely disrespectful and discriminatory! She did not put the customers concerns first and showed very poor customer service and appreciation! My sister shops at Zara quite often and this experience has jaded her to no longer be a customer. We will be pursuing this issue with corporate to insure that customers are treated with quality service and that the customers are valued and respected by the staff of the Zara company. A manager should be held accountable for her behavior on behalf of the company and this should be an embarrassment to the company. After waited 25 minutes to purchase a shirt that was on sale, I was told that I had to pay full price even though it had a sale tag. I called the manager but she said that one of their employees made a mistake with the tag and that there was nothing she could do to help. Then she rolled her eyes at me like it was my fault that her employee made a mistake. The following day I called customer service at Zara and they never responded back to me. It has been 2 yrs since i've last shopped at Zara. Took a day off for myself and decided to hit the mall. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of those girls at the dressing room her name is Erika. After I tried like 5 items and came out to hand them to her she looked at me with a smile/grin and said please put the clothes back on the hangers next time. What a nightmare! I ordered online to be shipped at this location. I have done so previously and had not had any problems. Its been over 2 weeks and said item was shipped. For 4 days I was chatting with online people, went to the store and called someone customer service. Neither online or the store wanted to hold accountability for the lost items. Just like all the other reviews, this place lacks customer service, but I think it's part of the company's culture (unfortunate). However, I do have to recognize 2 employees whom I've had a fantastic experience with, Juan and Ericka. Juan assisted me with looking for products that I did not see on the floor during their sale. He would stock check and update me as needed. He had a positive demeanor and it was a pleasure talking to him. Ericka, I've run into her a couple of times at the store, and she always delivers a positive and consistent service. The shirt I bought had a lipstick stain on it, and it was the last one in that size. I couldn't try it on because of the long fitting room wait, so she notated on the receipt that the shirt was purchased with a stain on it. Little gestures like this make a big difference! Zara's policy on returns. Zara Glendale galleria, I am shopping for years here. Upon trying to return three clothes with tags but without receipt and only bank statement plus ID, they disclosed their return policy - "Without the original receipt there is nothing they can do". No store credit, no ability to look up the purchase via credit card or skew number. Apparently no proof the sale ever took place because the system is refresh every midnight and no records after to retrieve information from X date. So without the original piece of paper there is no proof anywhere that a customer ever made a documented credit card purchase intheir system!!!! This is insane. I understand not getting money back on my card. But not even a store credit?!! Seriously, ZARA definitely found a way to take customers money no matter what other documentation you present to show that you paid with your credit card for these items. When I ask the manager Caroline her full name she replied, "That is personal and I refuse to give my information ".So Zara forces you to accept bring back an unworn with tag item because you have no receipt to get a refund but the manager in charge decides to be unname! read more

First off HORRENDOUS customer service from everyone we encountered at the store, store manager must have been the worst one with the way i was approached just because I was simply trying to make sure the shorts I was purchasing were the right size were i was met with and I quote "you cant try on clothes" no excuse me,no im sorry (there are no signs that state you cannot but i digress) nothing was said.i also find it funny how the same Rep saw another pair of customers trying in clothes and said Nothing to them until i mentioned it to her. As we were paying I was approached by what i can only assume was the store manager with *in a rude manner* "can you put on your mask" I felt the disrespect in front of other employees as it felt like a flex of power to me, I have never been one to be against mask I always wear one *I have asthma* since i was 5 and its very hard for me to wear one for long periods of time. I went to Zara to exchange the item and the cashier told me without a receipt I will only be able to exchange it with same item but in a different size.. I would recommend to shop online only. The first return that I did was a purchase I did online that was quick and easy when I went to the store to return the item. They didn't ask me for I.D to make sure I was the corresponding customer receiving the refund. It is much easier to shop online then it is in-stores. Now to do the in-store purchase return was a nightmare. The manager was of no help. She said in order to do the return she needed a physical receipt because of fraudulent purposes. She also told me because it has a barcode on the bottom of the receipt she couldn't help. I had mentioned that I had the physical card but my physical receipt was at home. According to the manager they have to mark the receipt as a return to account that the item has been returned for FRAUDULENT purposes. I had my physical card that I used for the ORIGINAL purchase, physical identification and a picture of the original receipt with the Barcode. Her hands were tied so she is very sorry she couldn't help us. read more
