I understand and respect store policies, but I also believe good customer service involves some level of understanding and discretion, especially for a loyal customer who has supported the business and is simply asking for an exchange shortly after purchasing. For a boutique selling a $300 baby dress, I expected a much higher level of customer care. The lack of willingness to offer any solution--not even an exchange or store credit--was incredibly disappointing and has completely changed the way I view this business. I later politely asked another employee whether customers are required to rehang clothes after trying them on. He confirmed that there is no such rule and that rehanging items is simply a courtesy. I completely understand that putting clothes back on hangers is helpful to the staff, and I'm happy to do so as a courtesy. However, there is a big difference between politely asking a customer for help and correcting them as though they have violated a store policy when no such policy exists. Today, I visited the Zara store in search of a specific product. However, I experienced an extremely unpleasant situation while trying to locate the product. Despite confirming the availability of the item online, I couldn't find it in the store. When I asked the staff about the product, they had difficulty finding the code, and it took a considerable amount of time for them to retrieve the bag. Furthermore, the most disappointing aspect was the rude attitude of the fitting room staff. Even when they brought the requested bag, they did so with a displeased expression and attitude. When I declined the bag, they threw it on the floor, which was truly shocking. I cannot comprehend how such treatment is acceptable. As a customer, I have no intention of considering any further purchases or visits to this store. This experience has left me extremely uncomfortable and disappointed, and I believe it damages the store's image and service quality. Despite not making a purchase, I left the store politely. However, I will now hesitate to shop at Zara in the future due to this experience. The attitude of staff towards customers plays a crucial role in the success and customer retention of a store. I earnestly request that appropriate measures be taken to ensure that such incidents do not occur again. read more

Zara at Glendale Galleria literally has the worst customer service ever and I've travelled and visited tons of Zara locations. The employees are literally the rudest ever it's like calm down you know you're justttt a sales associate right?! Wanted a jacket but didn't want the one out on display so I asked if they had it in the back. The girl checked her device and they did so she said in 10 mins they'd bring it down. I ended up waiting 40 mins with no jacket. I then asked this dumb bitch red head who works in the fitting room about the jacket and she proceeds to tell me that they don't have it. Literally had me wasting time for nothing. I immediately asked for the manager who tried to rectify the situation but acted as though she didn't care because I'm guessing it's normal for them to have complaints! Eventually the manager finds the jacket and gives this other rude employee to hand it to me, a big boneded bitch who just dumps it in my hand and proceeds to laugh away with the dumb ass redhead.. what a waste. Unintelligent and classless employees. read more

Need to vent about the absolutely atrocious customer service at this Zara location - it honestly couldn't get any worse if they tried. Year after year, I've watched this place go downhill, and it's mind-boggling how bad it's become. The sales associates act like they'd rather be anywhere else in the world than helping customers. They're constantly rolling their eyes, having loud personal conversations right in front of shoppers, and even picking fights with each other on the sales floor! The complete lack of professionalism is staggering. And what's even worse is the management - they clearly couldn't care less about fixing any of these problems, nor do they have the right skillset. I'm genuinely baffled that corporate just lets this continue. How is this acceptable for a major retail brand? This store has become such a joke and someone needs to call them out on it. read more

Never had such a rude experience. The manager was a dude with an attitude problem. After I realized the manager was having a bad day & i was becoming the recipient of his drama filled day, I asked him for his supervisor's name & number. Dude refused to give me either. I asked again even more politely, & he just walked away from me mid sentence! I mean who does that?! Lol ...the attitude I got from the manager was totally out of control, all bc I asked why the online return policy wasn't the same as in the stores. I'm only giving it two stars cuz the cashier that was helping me out apologized for the managers childish/unprofessional/impolite (I could go on) behavior. Im avoiding this store, bravo on picking great managers to run this big store! Such great examples for the rest of the staff (insert sarcasm)! read more

I am appalled at Zara's policy on returns. I was shopping for gender neutral clothing and brought some options home to my step daughter. Upon trying to return the next day they disclosed their return policy - "Without the original receipt there is nothing they can do". No store credit, no ability to look up the purchase via credit card or skew number. Apparently no proof the sale ever took place. So without the original piece of paper (who keeps paper anymore?) there is no proof anywhere that a customer ever made a documented credit card purchase. This is insane. I understand not getting money back on my card. But not even a store credit?!! Seriously, it is the digital age people. You have lost a customer and everyone I know I will tell. read more

I unintentionally exceeded the 30-day return policy by one day, assuming Zara had a holiday return policy for a Christmas gift. Despite the manager having the ability to override the policy and the unavailability of merchandise cards, she insisted solely on offering an exchange. I also noticed that it had a cafe/outdoor seating adjacent to the store. They even offered me a shopping cart and wished me a happy shopping. I did have few things in mind that I have been needing and wanting to get. Where to buy them with great affordable prices? Here at Nordstrom Rack. This was my 1st visit at this store, and will not be the last. I do visit the Glendale area quite often. As I was browsing their aisles, I noticed a lot of items by famous designers, and their sale racks 70 to 75% off. The cashier even offered me 5% discount, if I join their rewards program, so I did. Card is already in the mail. Aisles were easy to navigate and everything was placed in the right places and NOT cramped like some other stores are. I have never encountered any type of a problem in any one of their locations. Bought a lot of things on this visit from practically every department. They have shoes, accessories, cosmetics, women's, men's and kids department, along with kitchen/bathroom essentials. Also, houseware stuff. They have toys and a lot more. Needed underwear in a pack of 6, not in any particular brand, but of course the size has to be right. White color. I also needed a nice pillow. Came in 2. I bought this beautiful, 3 inch heel gray color shoe, to match a light gray short sleeve blouse with rhinestones. I also bought a pair of dark blue color jeans with rhinestones. I guess I had rhinestone fever that day,:-)) Got me this beautiful Summer/Spring blouse with yellow/purple stripes. Saw these fashionable glasses, tried them on and it looked nice on me and complimented my face. Got that too. You can also wear them as prescription glasses. I can never get enough of vases, got a nice flower vase, a fashionable pant/skirt with sequins/diamonds on it (not real diamonds), and it was the last one left. Looked perfect on me! 2 transparent soap dispensers, 2 room sprays, a nice mug with an inspirational message on it. "good vibes only"! One heart shaped crystal Jewelry box that you can use for anything. And a festive decorative Autumn wreath for my door to welcome fall. I believe that's all I got. The store along with the restrooms and dressing rooms were very clean. While waiting in line to check out, got couple of drinks and candy. Ample parking lot and Love Nordstrom Rack!! An Exceptional Nordstrom Experience Thanks to Saraeya!…read more I rarely take the time to write reviews for department stores, but my experience with Saraeya was truly worth recognizing! I initially walked into Nordstrom to return two Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow pencils. Saraeya was one of the first employees I came across, and although she wasn't working at the Charlotte Tilbury counter, she immediately offered to help me with my return without hesitation. What really stood out to me was that she didn't simply send me to another counter, which, unfortunately, has often been my experience at department stores. Instead, she took care of my return herself within minutes, making the entire process so effortless and pleasant. When I mentioned that I was also looking for a specific Charlotte Tilbury product, she personally walked me over to the counter and helped me with that as well. She even assisted me with another purchase! Saraeya was genuinely such a gem! Her easygoing personality, kindness, and willingness to help were a breath of fresh air. Not once did I feel rushed or as though I was inconveniencing her. Everything about my interaction with her felt natural, sincere, and effortless. It's not often that I come across someone who makes an ordinary shopping trip feel this enjoyable. I remembered seeing an email a while ago about a "gift with purchase" promotion when buying Shiseido products at Nordstrom. I considered ordering it online, but with the scorching heat lately, I was worried the cosmetics might go bad during shipping, so I went and bought it in person. I don't know the name of the saleswoman who helped me. I was originally looking at the cosmetics over at the Clé de Peau counter, and she came over to let me know about the current gift with purchase event. I told her that this was Clé de Peau but I was actually looking for Shiseido, and asked if Shiseido had a gift with purchase too. She told me they happened to have exactly one gift left. I asked her what the gift was and to show it to me, and she brought out a pouch containing a serum, cleansing foam, and small face cream. So yesterday, I bought one eye cream and received those gifts. The employee who helped me was incredibly kind. When I was checking out, a prompt came up asking for my phone number. I entered my number, and she said she found my name, Diane. I finished paying and left feeling super happy because of how kind she was and because I got the gift.
