From the moment I walked in, both team members Hermine and Elen greeted me with warm smiles and immediately offered their assistance. While I was shopping, they surprised me by making Armenian coffee and setting up a small dessert table with fruits and cookies after noticing I had been shopping for a while and carrying heavy bags. I drive @45 minutes to get there and had actually selected a jacket for myself. I tried on the jacket and noticed that there was a $32 discrepancy between the coat on line versus in the store. I waited in the long line (holiday sale prompted throngs) and told (& showed her the jacket I had saved in my phone) the owner what happened. She asked me to wait to check. I waited a good 15 plus minutes during which time her assistant took down the coat from the web site and made it reflect the higher price. Then she brightly asked if I wanted to try it on again and I said no, I need to leave and then she said she wouldn't honor the price that was listed on line stating it was a human error and she was running a small business. I think it is bad form to not honor the price that was listed. She has known than I've brought friends who have spent significant money in her store and I come to her from great distance for years...this was their mistake and I think it's extremely poor form to not honor what was listed. This is customer service at its worse. So much for loyalty. I could easily have bought the jacket on line and picked it up at the store but I thought that would not have integrity. Come to think of it, her actions didn't have integrity. You would think she would cultivate keeping her loyal customer base. What a disappointment.

That way I could get a second opinion! When I exited, I wasn't sure where to put my go back and I didn't want to put it in the wrong place. There was an employee there but they were busy fixing a garment I believe. They helped me after a bit once they realized I needed something, but I feel like if they were assigned there then they should have asked for my go backs right away. I don't want to accidentally mess up their rack and make it harder for them later. If they weren't assigned there and were just recovering, then I totally understand that it wasn't their responsibility. But then I feel like someone should be assigned there so clothes don't end up in the wrong place. I was able to leave the top on the correct rack, and checkout was pretty quick. Overall, I had a good experience and I would go back to this location.

I usually have a good experience shopping at H&M, but my recent visit left me a little confused by…read morethe customer service. After trying on a couple pairs of jeans, I returned the items I wasn't purchasing to the fitting room attendant. I was also in a bit of a rush, and I had never encountered this issue before, especially since in the past even the store associates themselves have offered to hang the clothes back for me. She told me, with a rather unnecessary attitude, that next time I should put the items back on the hangers myself. I was surprised because I had never been told this was a store policy before. I later politely asked another employee whether customers are required to rehang clothes after trying them on. He confirmed that there is no such rule and that rehanging items is simply a courtesy. I completely understand that putting clothes back on hangers is helpful to the staff, and I'm happy to do so as a courtesy. However, there is a big difference between politely asking a customer for help and correcting them as though they have violated a store policy when no such policy exists. The interaction was minor, but the attitude was unnecessary and definitely affected my experience at this location.
