I wish I could leave a -0 review!! The customer service at this location was quite honestly, deplorable in every sense of the word. I made a purchase last week on 1/19. And asked the cashier to please use my phone number so that my purchase would be registered to my account history.. Long story short, he didn't. And it caused a disaster !! And instead of taking accountability as a store employee made a mistake, the manager blamed me!!! Fast forward to today 1/26, as I proceed to return the item as it didn't work out for me. The original tags were still attached.. The manager Arely was disgusting rude, as I was never given the receipt and didn't know the exact date that the purchase was made. Although she could tell the item was newly purchased, in fact it was new item that had just come out. She blamed me the customer, stating that I should have been aware of what card I used to make the purchase. Like who shops and remembers exactly what card they made a purchase on? Instead of holding the employee who didn't use my customer account accountable, she blamed me, stating that if I didn't know the registrar it was purchased on, and the day and time, that I had to keep the unwanted item. Instead of offering me a store credit. She made me wait about 45 minutes pretending to look for the item in the backlog. When in fact a portion of the time she was upstairs walking around ... Not to mention, I have a disability, and my body became faint and I almost passed out waiting for her. I had to actually sit on register top because she was intentionally taking so long walking around upstairs. The way she spoke to me was disrespectful and disturbing. Not once did she apologize for the employee not properly checking me out.. She in fact became indignant in her efforts to blame me! Not sure how she is in a managerial position, as the employees at the registrar exercised more professionalism and courtesy than her... She needs to be fired immediately! read more

Went today and found a very cute set sadly the only size left that fit me was on a mannequin and when i asked if i could have the set the manequin had on i was told it couldnt happne because the bosses were coming tomorrow and the mannequin needed to have that one on but that i could come back tomorrow for it which is ridiculous. Im not sure why they just couldn't put a bigger size on it. I just left my other stuff that i had gathered and walked out. They have all these employees there just walking around probably wont ever be back. I stopped by this H&M store inside the Americana to look at their clothing. I got an email about some sales they were having so wanted to see some stuff in person. I like their easy iron long sleeve shirt and their sports or drymode tshirts. I parked where the Glendale Galleria mall is and just cross the street. When you walk inside the store, you'll notice that they have security at the entrance. The men's and kids department are on the second floor. Cashier SA:1047810 Store: 120106 I rarely write reviews on retail services but today was an experience beyond words. I was in this store today and while paying for my items I asked the girl on the cashier if she can check if there's another size for an item, she ignored me so I figured she didn't hear me; I repeated my question she looked at me and showed me her device to track the inventory and pointed it at my face and said, it's not logged in you see, just buy it and return it or just don't buy it. I was shocked! Next thing I see her throwing the clothes in the bag like I'm getting it as a donation from her humble highness. I spoke to the store manager and I hope an action gets taken with this girl. She had a horrible attitude and with all other people she was just a pain to deal with from all the attitude. This H&M store is the worst!! We were trying to exchange a jacket that was given to my toddler as a birthday gift that still had the tags on it, and had never been worn. The cashier said they only do exchanges with a receipt. I asked for a manager and she was incredibly rude saying, "Can you call the person who gave you the gift for the receipt?" Who does that?! She wouldn't give us store credit or exchange the jacket for a larger size despite sharing with her we didn't get a gift receipt and we just wanted an exchange. I never shopped H&M until late last year. Now I'm addicted to this store. The clothes are so cute and affordable. What I love the most is that unlike other store they are true to their sizes. I'm not a skinny girl at all. I have thick thighs and an ass. Most jeans or work pants don't accommodate with what I'm working with but H&M clothing does. I can come in, grab what I need, pay and walk out without any fear of not fitting me when I get home. The one time I actually returned something was only because I didn't like how it looked on me. Every girl has had that happen to her at one point or another, right? This location is always well kept, the staff is friendly and very helpful. I'm not shy about asking for style advice and the ladies working here aren't afraid to tell you if an outfit is cute or not. I appreciate that! The dressing rooms are clean and well lit. H&M customer service is terrible! They either don't know what they are doing, or just lying to you. I ordered 3 shirts online for same day pick up in store on 8/16/23 before 4 PM and never received a confirmation pick up. Called customer service 8/17/23 in the morning and got the run around. They tried to call the H&M retail store and it seems that no one answers which is totally weird considering you cannot contact an H&M store directly but their customer service. I was given an explanation that the item is being pulled from a warehouse that it takes 24-48 hours to get it to the store. What happened to same day pick up?? My wife tried to call them in the afternoon as I am very frustrated already. She got a hold of customer service and in turn got a hold of someone in the retail location. The explanation from the retail location was " Oh I am just pulling the Men's and Kid's orders today. It should be ready today just wait for the email." Again, what happened to same day pick up? I have experienced exceptional customer service via phone, online, and in-store at both the Westfield Santa Anita and Paseo Colorado locations. Here is a summary of my recommendations: Don't be afraid to talk to another customer representative over the phone or online if something does not feel right - with this or any other location. I highly encourage you to not settle for any unpleasant experience you may have - as little it may be - and get the right help that you need. As long as you have proof of misconduct, H&M is outstanding at following through with their policies. __________________________________________________ Before coming into this location, shoppers please be advised of H&M's online return/exchange policy. "You are always welcome to return or exchange for free in any H&M store in the US, excluding Puerto Rico." This policy applies if return/exchange are made in-store within 30 days. I did not think too much of this when I went to this location to exchange a sweatshirt I purchased online for a different size. I was on my lunch break and thought the Americana location would be best since I also had to make a purchase at Sephora. I quickly tried on the sweatshirt again in smaller sizes and grab the one that fit best. I went to complete the exchange and was charged $6.94 - for the exact same item. Confused, I asked the sales associate, "Is it because I don't have the discount I used online". She nodded her head. In a rush, I scrambled to find my 10% discount I had stored on my account. I didn't want to take time away from the associate so I told her, "You can help the next person, it might take me awhile to find a code". She looked back at me blankly, said, "No one is behind you, take your time", and laughed. I finally pulled up the discount and completed the total of $5.03. Running out of time, I raced to the next location, trying to brush off my in-store experience. I normally don't fret over $5 but I couldn't stop thinking - why did I have to pay more for something I had already purchased? I felt a little ripped off - if you know what I mean. Later that night, I finally got the courage to speak with a customer representative over the phone. I hate making phone calls but I am so glad I did it. H&M has a 24/7 phone service which is amazing! I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by a warm, British speaker. After I explained my case, he said in these exact words, "I am so sorry you experienced this especially on your lunch break. This should not have happened. You were suppose to be able to make an exchange without any charges. Let me open a case so that we can further look into this incident and issue you a refund". Yelp 2014 Challenge #68/100 They have two stories here, first story for women and the second for men and women. The fitting room is full and it's kinda chaotic (especially since we went on the fourth of july weekend). The outside looks really nice and it's located next to Forever 21. These two stores don't look like they are stores, rather, they look like one whole big shopping plaza! They are isolated from the rest of the stores, which are on the other side of the fountain. Oh goodness! For some reason this place always gives me a headache and literally makes me feel sick and dizzy upstairs. I am not sure if its just stuffy in there, the crowd, crampness or just the mess. Every single time I've been in here, I have to walk out to get some air. It might just be me but I am def not a fan of this place for that particular reason. On to review the rest of this place...This place, found next to Forever 21 at the Americana, is always so messy. Good luck finding anything and if you ask, hopefully its someone nice enough to want to help. It is two stories high and things are very unorganized. Lots of clothes on the floor, crammed into the hangers, dirty, ripped. Make sure you check your clothes thoroughly before making a purchase. The last time I was there, the husband found a nice red dress, still on the hanger, for me. Right when we got into the massive, longggg line to pay, we saw the rip. Lucky for me, I was able to find a worker willing to help me get a dress that was not damaged. Unfortunately, that was the only one time that I had a nice worker help me. I like coming here when I'm at the Americana - it's about the only store I can afford right now at this shopping center! When I was here there was hardly anyone in the store! What a luxury to browse around and not bump into anyone. Trendy clothes - but you should know your prices. I know that I could do better with some stuff at Macy's sales. Also don't think you just gained 10 pounds when you shop here. Dress sizes tend to be "honest". Not like the Ann Taylor or Gap sizes. What I do love here are the accessories. They don't hurt the wallet too much and it is constantly changing. The line downstairs tends to be longer than upstairs. Go upstairs - there is usually a shorter (or no) line. They have the kids clothes and teen fashions upstairs and in the summer it can get hot up here. Finds this time around were a cute white summer dress for my kid marked down to $10, some killer butterfly hair clips and an Italian (more professional-looking) hair clip for when I eventually land a job. read more

A long time ago, H&M sold a wide variety of cheap, fashionable clothes (I loved it). This was followed by a phase where their target audience appeared to be high school kids and everything was green and purple plaid (I waited patiently for this to end). Now it seems like they're trying to be a slightly edgier Old Navy. A lot of the styles are neither here nor there and the sizes have ballooned (maybe like their target audience?). I'm so confused. I love H&M, one of my favorite stores to shop for clothes. Especially since it's so hard to find pants in my size... but nope not here. I can easily find size 29. Also, they have great sales from time to time. I came in today, just to window shop. Not even in the store for 5 mins and already ended up seeing a great sale on a blue and white short sleeve button up shirt for $12.99 and just had to cop it so I could wear it at a dodgers game. I went straight to the checkout line because I didn't need to get anything else. There was already a customer being checked out but after a minute another employee came and told me he could assist me if I'm ready to check out. Far better than the H&M in SF on Powell St. (but not necessarily better than the one in the Westfield Shopping Center in SF) and infinitely better than the H&M in Emeryville. I came during a lovely sale and walked away with a dress incorrectly marked for $10. Managerial staff is competent (unlike the Victoria's Secret in SF, Westfield) but the Sales Associates are more like a hit or miss. This may be because the store is so new and the SA's need some more experience. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to walk in and out of dressing rooms three separate times with little or no wait. and there was a SALE!! Fantastic and unheard of for H&M's. Also lovely selection. I'm very fond of their organic cotton line and was able to indulge myself here. Left very pleased. Unfortunately, however, was unable to check out the rest of Americana at Brand since I spent most of my 1 hr limit here. read more

This is a nice H&M located at the Americana. There's a lot of natural light and you can browse the stores pretty easily. The racks in general are also rather organized. I wish they had more sale inventory here but maybe it depends on the season? I have definitely been to some other H&M stores where there were just racks upon racks but this one didn't seem to have too many sale items. read more

I love this H&M! I used to always go to the one in old town Pasadena but they never had my size. On a recent trip to Americana, I hit the jackpot! I found a cute pink blouse for $18 (and they had a few size 2s) and 4 pairs of mittens. The mittens came in all different colors and were reduced so I paid $3 for four pairs. It was pretty awesome. The employees in the fitting room and at check out were friendly and efficient. This is now my new fav. location! read more
