I stopped by this H&M store inside the Americana to look at their clothing. I got an email about some sales they were having so wanted to see some stuff in person. I like their easy iron long sleeve shirt and their sports or drymode tshirts. I parked where the Glendale Galleria mall is and just cross the street. When you walk inside the store, you'll notice that they have security at the entrance. The men's and kids department are on the second floor. I took a look at what they had inside the store but they didn't have much to my liking. I also looked at the men's jeans but it's not my style.

Cashier SA:1047810 Store: 120106 I rarely write reviews on retail services but today was an experience beyond words. I was in this store today and while paying for my items I asked the girl on the cashier if she can check if there's another size for an item, she ignored me so I figured she didn't hear me; I repeated my question she looked at me and showed me her device to track the inventory and pointed it at my face and said, it's not logged in you see, just buy it and return it or just don't buy it. I was shocked! Next thing I see her throwing the clothes in the bag like I'm getting it as a donation from her humble highness. I spoke to the store manager and I hope an action gets taken with this girl. She had a horrible attitude and with all other people she was just a pain to deal with from all the attitude. Worst floor retail person I ever encountered in my life. Though I'm not so shocked, SA with the same code has another negative review on Yelp too. Retail manager, please review this.

She left the security tag on as a disrespectful act and this is not okay! She should be fired. Hire someone who is actually a decent person.

I don't know who it was... but I asked if there was a bathroom available and the attendant rudely said no and then when I used the bathroom returned and paid for the merchandise she left the security tag on the sweatshirt causing major problems for me. This is not acceptable! She should be fired.

h&m @ americana - in glendale sa: 1047810 store: 120106 no: 1037 time: 20:32 date: 08/05/ 2024 my mom and i were at this store on aug. 5th. we had an awful experience! as we're trying to purchase an item, this girl who was the cashier on this day, was the worst person who helped us! as she proceeded to ring our item up, my mom noticed that the amount she has to pay didn't match up what was priced on the tag, so, as we told the girl, (in a calm assertive manner) why it shows up wrong in the system, the girl got quiet, and said; " i don't know" and immediately became defensive and started to give us an attitude as she is chewing her gum loudly with her mouth open while speaking! being all ghetto! she sneared at us and she threw the item roughly in the bag! as we told her why she is chewing her gum while on the clock? she proceeded to respond with; "well, my manager allows it". (that didn't make any freaking sense to us! ). this is unacceptable! she's unprofessional, with a disgusting behaviour! she clearly needs serious training in customer service. she clearly is inexperienced, immature and needs alot of growing up to do! in this type of work environment where you should provide excellent experience for customers, the customer is always right and with that being said...if an assocate were to receive negative feedback, you as the associate proceed by apologizing and fix the issue instead of making things worse! it's not rocket science! overall, this location is closeby and we love h&m, but, we don't ever wanna be helped by her again! manager at h&m: do better!

I never shopped H&M until late last year. Now I'm addicted to this store. The clothes are so cute and affordable. What I love the most is that unlike other store they are true to their sizes. I'm not a skinny girl at all. I have thick thighs and an ass. Most jeans or work pants don't accommodate with what I'm working with but H&M clothing does. I can come in, grab what I need, pay and walk out without any fear of not fitting me when I get home. The one time I actually returned something was only because I didn't like how it looked on me. Every girl has had that happen to her at one point or another, right? This location is always well kept, the staff is friendly and very helpful. I'm not shy about asking for style advice and the ladies working here aren't afraid to tell you if an outfit is cute or not. I appreciate that! The dressing rooms are clean and well lit. Mirrors are smudged but whatever. This location carries women, men and children clothings. Highly recommend this location!

Love shopping here. Sometimes you can find some major sale items. Love shopping through their catalog also. You can find professional outfits or casual. There's even a section where my youngest can shop. Several dressing rooms. The clothes racks are orderly. Bought shoes here. You can find nice accessories. Parking garage. One hour free.

I remember H&M when I used to live in Holland, one of my favorite clothing stores. Reason is the affordable trendy clothing line. You are able to succeed here if wether you are a woman, a man or a kid (my son loves this store and he hates buying clothes). Now I see more and more H&M's pop up in the US; first one I've seen was in NY a couple of years ago and now Glendale. Great store to look for SALES, I spend last time $48.00 worth on $179.00 clothes. You can't beat that!!! H&M it's good to have you here.

Eh, that's fine, I was expecting that (My friend wanted to look something up and forgot about the rule), but I suppose that guy did give us an uncomfortable feeling. However, I went in a second time with a different friend- During Covid- So I emailed/called first to make sure they were open. Richard was so nice! He had a lot of knowledge to share about certain products we were looking at. Other people have had odd experiences, but ours was amazing. He had just gotten in a new shipment of tea from Kyoto, and he actually made some for us and we chatted about tea, and his friends in Japan. He even showed us his new shop next door filled with furniture he's working on, which was all so cool. The vibe is just so well-lived in "wabi-sabi". Honestly, I had a great time. I do hope people just remember to respect that they have rules and conduct expectations- Not unlike Japan. Follow and have manners, and you'll be treated accordingly. (:

I miss the days when people appreciated character. Especially shop owners. He may be a bit eccentric and sometimes direct (with cute dog in tote) but I feel like it adds to the charm and experience of it all. This store is an experience. Very special. I feel like yelp has created an unhealthy dynamic of people expecting 5 star treatment everywhere they go and for workers to act as slaves. Personally... the grumpier, more eccentric, or offbeat a shopkeeper is the more I love it. It's what us LA natives grew up with and it gives a place character and authenticity. If people have issues with character other than "hello how may I serve your pretentious entitled self today?" They should be shopping in a different neighborhood such as Beverly Hills. Regardless of what anyone says, this shop has the most beautifully curated collection of fine Japanese treasures and I will be a lifelong customer. I just brought two of my friends in today and we were treated so wonderfully and the two gems working were knowledgeable and helpful from the moment we walked in. Not to mention we had a very babbley baby in tow and it didn't seem to bother them at all! My last note: if anyone decides to research Japanese traditions and customs it isn't all that outrageous that phones are asked to be put away during your visit. It really takes away from the experience of it all. My suggestion/tip... go in, phone away, connect with the people, sit in silence, appreciate the craftsmanship of these incredible items... just put your western everyday distractions and habits away for a short time and you will leave this place feeling a sense of calm and happiness. It's really something to be appreciated. I hope New High Mart is around forever!
