Every time I shop at this store, I receive exceptional service. The employees are genuinely caring, extremely helpful, and consistently go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. They take the time to help me find the right sizes and always offer thoughtful suggestions on what to buy. Today's visit to the Sherman Oaks location was especially memorable. From the moment I walked in, both team members Hermine and Elen greeted me with warm smiles and immediately offered their assistance. While I was shopping, they surprised me by making Armenian coffee and setting up a small dessert table with fruits and cookies after noticing I had been shopping for a while and carrying heavy bags. We received a gift from our friends for our toddler and unfortunately it was too small so we went and tried to exchange it within the exchange timeframe. We were truly amazed by the attitude we got when asked to exchange. The attendant was rude and did not want to help in any way and pointed on the 0-12 months rack and told us we can only chose from there even after explaining that we are there because we needed something for 18 months. Both myself and my wife came from the retail garment business and we were left stunned by the way we were treated. After a long discussion the lady at the store stated that she can't help us and will not call her boss to try to help further. We are familiar with our options as a consumer and this review is only the beginning of this journey. We will be contacting the mall management and the bureau of consumer protection. I suggest you pay close attention to the two previous negative reviews of this store. I recently purchased a $50 romper for my infant granddaughter. I washed it on delicate cycle before she even wore it and one of the grommets of a snap came off. Luckily I found it. Since I sew I saw that this was because someone had tried to push the grommet through too many layers of fabric and it did not attach well. When my daughter brought the item back the salesperson was rude and argumentative asking my daughter 'what was she supposed to do with it? And telling her it was not the store's problem.' Luckily my daughter persisted and they sent her to another store to get the correct size. Obviously the person had been forewarned and was equally rude to my daughter. I am incensed . This was a totally uncalled for behavior over a faulty product. I am filing a complaint with the BBB and I suggest that you shop next door at Janie and Jack where they are helpful and reasonable. My sons god mother got a gift from this boutique at the end of April, after she got this gift she got Covid and then the remaining family members did. By the time everyone fully healed and she was able to give my sons gift 2 months have passed. The store policy stated 30 days for exchanges. However, everywhere in the world return policy have been able to be adjusted give the time we are in. I didn't want to return the items I wanted to exchange it, a exception could have been made, If they wanted too. Given my expierence with the associate at the Sherman Oak location today and her lack of customer service, compassion and understanding neither I nor any of my family and friends will shop here let alone, get my son presents from here. I purchased an item and was told 3 different exchange/ return policies. The sales associates were more interested in getting me to hurry up and buy my items to get me out of the store so they could go back to their phones. Anyways, when I came back a couple later (they finally confirmed 7 days for exchange) to exchange a shirt I bought for my child, they refused to do it. I felt like I was in another country and they were arguing with me over the exchange of a shirt. Not a return. Then the her royal rudeness proceeds to tell me that I'm not a good mom since I don't know my own child's size. This is why bad things are happening to our people because instead of being helpful and honest, armos are more focused on putting each other down. Don't support this store. What a great experience we had at this nice little boutique. I was there after being at multiple stores looking for dresses for my girls for wedding. They have a very cute collection. We ended up naming not just one set but 2 and the girl working there helped us to find what fittest the best to my girls characters as well as very cute accessories. I received some clothes as a gift from this store. I went to exchange them for something else as I refuse to dress my son in a shirt that has tattoo sleeves, however, the woman working in the store declined to give store credit since I didn't have a receipt. As anyone knows, people don't usually give a receipt when it's a gift. Also, what is the point of the official hologram sticker on the tag for the "boutique" if you're going to request a receipt? When I pressed some more, she changed the story to the item being final sale. I left the store and donated the items to the goodwill down the street. Initially I just posted a picture of the screenshot with prices of the original Choupette Russian website and Choupette USA, so people would know that they are charged double for the same pieces of clothes. The picture was flagged and removed so I am posting an actual review. This review is honest and sincere and coming from a legitimate customer who shopped at this particular location! Listen up, people! Choupette is 100% Russian brand, 100% made in Russia. They never say that stating it's "French designed". If you read all the tags and labels you will see it yourself. Last year I bought 2-pieces set for my daughter and a beautiful $100 dress for my goddaughter. Back then I didn't know that the brand was Russian. If I knew I would never pay that much for something I could easily get for much less. When I traveled to Russia last spring (that where I am from) I bragged about all these wonderful pieces I bought at "French" boutique. My brother was like "Choupette??? Are you crazy? It's a Russian brand our kids wear all the time". Then I've read the labels and I saw "made in Russia"... I came back to the US with a huge suitcase full of Choupette stuff that my brother got me as a gift. I really love their clothes. It's beautiful and high quality, however they charge you here at Glendale location double of the original retail price. The store is beautiful and customer service is good but they still rip you off completely. If you go to Russian web site you will see the prices yourself. 1 USD is approx 59 Russian RUB, so do the math. If you shop for instance at Louis Vuitton the prices are about the same worldwide, regardless of where you are. So I am assuming this particular Choupette store is not a franchise. Just a private owned store that orders stuff from Russia and charges you double for what you would pay in the country of origin. Not fair to the customers! Complete rip off! If you and your little ones like Choupette clothes shop directly at their original web site. But I don't know if they ship worldwide. So if they don't Choupette USA might be a good alternative for you. Just be aware that you are buying Russian clothes and paying double of an actual retail price. read more

I received a gift for my daughter from this store... the tags were still attached but I did not have a receipt (mind you, I asked for an exchange, not a refund or store credit). They pulled up the purchase and it had passed the 7 day return policy. I was told there's nothing they can do. The "system" will not allow them to process an exchange. Absolutely in love with this store. Whether you need clothes for boys or girls they have a great selection and varies by age. I needed flower girl dresses for my wedding & had to find four of them. I went to a few stores, but nothing compares to what i had gotten from Choupette. It was so quick and easy with the help of the girls at the store i was able to quickly find the perfect dress i was looking for. One of my flower girls was a bit older and i was afraid i wouldnt find anything for her to match with the rest of them. Such a cute little baby boutique ! I went in a few days ago to look for a christening gown for my daughter. The christening is this weekend! I already had something I had bought from Nordstrom's but I wasn't in love with it so decided to test my luck and see if I can find something to my liking last minute. I decided to give this boutique a try. I walked in on a Saturday and was greeted by the very nice girl (I don't know her name) that was so quick to help me and not rush me into anything. I saw a big selection of exactly what I was looking for. I decided to come in the next day with my daughter to figure out sizing. I went in again on Sunday and the same nice girl was there. Helped us try on different sizes and ended up purchasing the christening gown. The girl helping us was so nice patient and helpful! Really made it a nice shopping experience. I won't name other boutiques but I've been to others where the staff is just sitting there on their phone and don't acknowledge your existence. I absolutely love the gown I bought and the nice experience that went along with it. They also had a lot of cute special occasion and party dresses. Can't wait to go back for other stuff. read more

I received a gift for my kids and the person who purchased the items was told I have till 1/20 to return it. I came in the store today and just wanted a store credit because I was in a rush. The worker said she can only exchange it. So I had to wait till she helped the other people and was stuck at the store for longer then needed. I drove all the way from Porter Ranch. I was 1 day late from the 7 day mark and Christmas was only 5 days ago. The return/exchange policy is ridiculous. If you logically think about it and you receive a gift.... by the time you go to return/exchange it no way is 7 days enough. It's very unfortunate they have this kind of service especially with the expensive prices they have. The quality of the clothes aren't the best either. I think this will definitely be the last time I ever walk into this store and I will make sure I let all my friends know so they can purchase gifts elsewhere.
