We went and even after paying the seamstress an additional $40 bucks, the dress was not let out enough. My daughter didn't get to wear it for her recital and I paid extra because this wealthy owner didn't give a crap about a single mom with multiple jobs who was just trying to provide a nice dress for her daughter. When we had been there before, it was younger woman who was much nicer but after this experience, I will never go there again. (The previous dresses I'd gotten her the prior year were also from the clearance rack because that's all I could afford) Snobby and unsympathetic owner.

When I returned, she was laughing and being very nice to other customers, but the moment it was my turn, she stopped smiling and treated me coldly for no reason. When we checked out we found out that the $10 coupon was good as long as we spent more than $100 and only if we ordered online. I wanted 8 shirts, and they only had seven in stock. We had to stop the checkout process and then go through the process of ordering everything online for delivery. Quite inflexible. I wanted to try a couple of the shirts to make sure they fit. I have trouble with one of my arms and have a very hard time taking a t-shirt on and off so my husband was going to come into the try on cubicle with me, but we were told only one person was allowed. The funniest part is that they clearly think nobody can hear them, when customers can hear practically everything. There is a very strange clique-like energy in the store. Instead of creating a welcoming shopping environment, the employees seem much more interested in observing and discussing everyone around them. You can literally walk into the store and immediately feel the judgment. It is uncomfortable, unnecessary, and honestly embarrassing to witness from a customer's perspective. The manager in particular does not create the kind of atmosphere you would expect from someone running a store. The constant gossip and obvious judging make the entire place feel immature and unprofessional. If you are going to talk about people while you are working, at least have enough professionalism to remember that customers have ears. I also find it ironic that a store selling trendy clothes has such an outdated, mean-girl-type atmosphere. Nobody should feel like they are being silently rated, watched, or discussed just for walking into a clothing store. There are plenty of other places to shop where you can actually browse without feeling like you accidentally walked into a group chat. Cute clothes, terrible energy. The management really needs to take a look at the culture they are allowing in that store, because the employees' behavior says a lot more about the workplace than the clothes ever could.
