From the moment I walked in, both team members Hermine and Elen greeted me with warm smiles and immediately offered their assistance. While I was shopping, they surprised me by making Armenian coffee and setting up a small dessert table with fruits and cookies after noticing I had been shopping for a while and carrying heavy bags. Their kindness and attentiveness truly touched my heart. I am incredibly thankful to Hermine and Elen for their outstanding customer service and genuine care for their customers. She then tried to say it was a different dress, then she said price will change on the website due to Trumps tariffs, even though it was clearly the exact same style shown online. The explanation felt dismissive and unconvincing and I felt lied too. I asked to speak with a manager, and I was told someone would return my call. That never happened. For a store selling dresses at this price point, ignoring a customer concern like this is unacceptable. Charging customers more than the listed price and then failing to address the issue or follow up is extremely poor business practice. I expected transparency and professionalism, but unfortunately received neither. I hope the store improves its pricing accuracy and customer service because this experience left a very negative impression.

Overall, I had a good experience and I would go back to this location.

I had a really frustrating experience at this children's boutique and felt it was worth sharing. I purchased a gift using store credit, fully understanding that the item would be final sale. That part wasn't an issue at all. What didn't make sense was what happened next -- I asked if they could simply gift wrap the item or at least place it in a gift bag with tissue paper, and they refused. I was told multiple times that "as a boutique, this is their policy," but that explanation honestly raised more questions than it answered. If anything, boutiques are usually known for offering a more thoughtful, elevated shopping experience -- especially when it comes to gifting. I wasn't asking for anything excessive, just a basic option to present the item as a gift. I even would have gladly paid for a gift box or wrapping if that was the requirement, but that wasn't offered either. On top of that, I had a separate experience that was equally disappointing. I received gifts right after having my baby and ended up with duplicate items. Due to a difficult labor and delivery, I wasn't able to leave the house for several weeks. When I was finally able to arrange childcare and go into the store -- about 4 weeks postpartum -- I brought the items in hoping to exchange them so I could choose something myself. Instead, I was told it was past their exchange window. I explained my situation, but there was no flexibility or understanding at all -- just a repeated reference to store policy. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a bit of consideration given the circumstances. Overall, the policies here feel unnecessarily rigid and not very customer-focused. For a boutique that sells items often purchased as gifts, the lack of flexibility and basic accommodations was disappointing. I have had the worst experience at this store. I walked in and the owner did not even say hi to me or make me feel welcomed at her store. First off her items are over priced!!!! And second off she doesn't even supply any boxes or logo bags for her high end store as she calls it. I purchased a gift from her store and she places my gift in a regular white cheap bag. The owner is so rude to customers. As a business women I believe, one should have excellent customer service skills. But sadly, this girl does not. Girls like this see extra 2 cents and act like they own the world. Walking in for the first time at this store I felt so disrespected and will never shop here again. It was a horrible experience shopping at her baby store. Especially, after the fact when I myself have several friends whom own boutiques like hers but do not treat customers like she does. They give there absolute all and best to clients. I will not recommend this store to anybody and will definitely tell all my friends and family about her. I even had friends tell me when she shipped out packages of her merchandise it was all torn and just thrown in a fedex bag with not even any tissue paper wrapped. I pretty much got everything I needed for my baby from Hugbug. From my bottles to my stroller and even a beautiful custom crib bedding set. The girls were so patient with me cause I had no idea what I wanted or need since I'm expecting my first baby. They told me all the things I need and all the things I really didn't need so I didn't feel pressured at all. I purchased a silver cross stroller and I love it! They also custom made a beautiful bedding set for my little one that's like no other. I don't have the nursery set up yet or I would post a picture. Very disappointed. Received a cute outfit as a gift. Didn't fit as it was size 0-3 months. Took it in today to exchange it for a larger size. Never worn, tagged attached, gift receipt... and in box. The associate didn't exchange it and stated they have a strict exchange policy to 30 days. She noticed that I'm disabled and have difficulty getting around. Absolutely no customer service. Sad.... The store also carries very cute separates that you can match. Depending on the brand, some of the older youth sizes fit petite adults so I've been able to get the same jacket to match my kids. There's also a small section of the store where the owner sells "vintage" clothing that has been previously loved. My favorite brands to buy here are Mayoral, Abel and Lula, and Tartine et Chocolat. The store also carries cute European toys and sometimes books. The one star Yelp reviews seem strange as it seems those reviewers don't understand how a business is run and they expect to see department store pricing and discounting. This shop is a small business that doesn't have the volume of Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's; thus, the pricing reflects the overhead to run the business and the transportation costs that imported clothing incur. There's a reason folks choose to shop local. The beauty of life here is that no one is forcing you to shop here specifically. If the price doesn't fit your budget, drive the distance to another shop, pay the fee to buy it elsewhere and have it shipped to you, or you can fly to Europe and buy it directly at the stores there. Long story short: try this place out as the clothing is high quality, the selection is great, and the owner is so kind. Support small business!

Oh, my...where to begin? My husband and I were walking through Montrose this past November. I had…read morenever noticed this store before. It is a little gem, stuck between two other stores and the interior was decorated like an absolute fairyland of lights, glitter, and good taste. The reviewer who complained that they couldn't get a wheelchair through the tightly decorated aisle or a baby stroller needs to stop and think. The inventory here is very delicate and the chance of catching an item on a moving chair or stroller could be highly upsetting to both owner and customer. LA real estate is very expensive. Commercial spaces that are tighter may limit your ability to shop in the case of small boutiques. That's why online stores are so convenient for all of us. The disabled, elderly, immobile, and for parents of children under six who might inadvertently handle or break delicate items may need to use caution. This is not the owner's fault. This store has beautiful jewelry, but I needed Christmas hostess gifts this holiday. I walked out of there with tons of beautiful hand blown ornaments and holiday decor for the home. Every item was lovely and each presented beautifully upon lit glass shelves. I was so excited to find the items I did that I returned the next day and bought two more gifts. A gorgeous 4" ballerina ornament and a colorful hot air balloon ornament. Nothing you could find in Macy's or Ross or Neimann Marcus. Our New Year's hostess was elated when she opened her LaPerla bag stuffed with colorful tissue paper and the ornaments we brought to her party. The best surprise was the lovely gift wrapping. NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE. It's is generous of the owners and kind of them to share such a luxury. I'll be shopping at LaPerla again very soon and want to thank Soma and all her lovely helpers. Finally, I don't have to make a big drive to Salutations over in Pasadena. Why? I have luxury gifts right here in our neighborhood and we're supporting small businesses in our own community. Thank you, La Perla, for sustaining elegance in our small town.
