Been standing in line to PURCHASE at Zara for over 10 minutes. I've watched three employees walk in and out of the back while a line of 5 people has built up and no one steps in to open a registwr. This is exactly why I never shop here!!!!! Doesnt matter which location in LA, the service is ALWAYS shit, working as a personal assistant for the last 7 years, I know what good service looks like, and Zara is anything but!! After checking out, the woman doesnt even ask me how I want my receipt, just throws it in the bag and doesnt say a word to me!!!!! Sorry but, their clothes are cheap, they may be up to fashion trends, but I'll be returning everything my son doesn't want for his CALL BACK this Friday. This is the only reason I even came here. Been shopping at Zara for several years now and truly enjoy the customer service each time I visit the location in Old Town, Pasadena or at the Santa Anita mall. I've had the chance to TRY and shop at the location inside of the Glendale Galleria two times and twice have I experienced the worst customer service known to man kind. Either they look right through you and don't acknowledge your existence as a customer or when they do its unwilling. Today I picked two suits to purchase and waited in line for what was about 8 minutes before eagerly making my way to the register, as soon as I got to the register instead of a, Hi how are you? Or a Did you find everything you need? I was told that they have no garment bags and she would have to fold the suit up and throw it in a bag; nonsense right? And instead of apologizing or providing any solution she asked if I want the suits or not - clearly I opted for the later of the two options given. Mind you after my "transaction" while a customer stood waiting to buy a shirt and the same cashier was approached by a manager and asked if she needs any help since the line was growing to which she responded she didn't care. On my other visit to the store I sought help and was left dumbfounded as each employee pointed at the other and no one wanted to take the time and help. Customer service at this location as well as Zara's main customer service 800-number is horrible. I purchased a product and I had to return, I received a partial credit and was told because it had no receipt on the other part that I needed to grab an item and I could return this item at another time. They would not offer a gift card credit and I was told "just grab anything" because I could return this at any time for a proper item. So I grabbed the first item I saw for 29.90 which was my remaining credit amount. I went back to the store yesterday I was told that the item is out of season, had I known this I would've grabbed another product for 29.90, and not something from the clearance rack. The clerk should have been informed or let me know that there was a limited return on clearance items and that they may go out of season. This must be one of the worst customer service is I have ever received, especially from the 800 number. I am out the $29.90 and with a product that doesn't even fit. read more

I drove 1 hour to bring my mother to shop at this Zara for her birthday since it's the closest one to us. After selecting our items we tried to get into the fitting rooms at 7:35 pm and they said they are closed because somebody is coming in over night to fix the lights (all the lights were on and appeared functional). We asked for the manager "Flavio" and he recommended my 70 yr old mother to just try on the clothes outside in public or just buy everything and return them later. Again we live 1 hour away and if a store advertises to be open until a certain time they need to keep all facilities open until then even if it's inconvenient for the staff to attend to the fitting rooms. Deeply disappointed and please address this issue with the staff at this store. Thankfully Whitehouse blackbarn gracefully attended to my mom's needs across from Zara and has earned our business long term. read more

TWO registers open out of 6 with at least 40 people in each line. 2 workers were in line taking people's hangers , to "make checkout easier" but they don't add any to work the registers. Get electronic record and receipts. Was rudely denied an exchange of a $30 item as I was about to purchase hundreds in clothes. Long story short I bought several items and didn't intend to return any of them as I tried them on and liked them. I cut the tags off, and threw them In the washing machine. When I took them out 1 of the shirts ripped in the collar. Upon trying to return the shirt I was denied twice by managers in the store. I wish I could rate this place 0 stars. I got a suit as a gift from my girlfriend she didn't know my size, the suit was too big and the employee at the Pasadena store who helped her told her she could go to any Zara and exchange it without the receipt. She said the only thing she needed was the barcode that's printed on the tag inside the suit. When we came to this location, (Glendale) and asked the employee that helped us was ok, doing her job. We asked for a manager, we spoke to two. SHEILA and FLAVIO ECHEVERRIA, and they were just super rude, unwilling to help, did not show any sort of interest in helping us resolve our issue, they told me to call customer service because they couldn't do it. As I kept trying to explain them the situation they would constantly interrupt me and repeat the same sentence over and over again without letting me talk? Kept trying to shut me down until I told him to stop being uneducated and interrupting me. He finally stop talking. I am really disappointed because I would have never expected such bad service here. I have shopped here for years and it sucks when they are super happy to take your money but when you want to exchange something they completely shut you up. If I could leave less than one star, I would. I made an in-store purchase of a pair of cargo pants back in March and finally wore it this past week. Love the fit of these pants and I have purchased many items from Zara in the past and never had any complaints until now. Never have I doubted the quality of Zara products including these pants, from just the looks and feel of it, but as I was getting into the car to sit, the pants ripped right down the middle. When I purchase clothing, I am all about comfort, so I can't say it was too small for me. I bought my size and surprisingly, it was a perfect fit-from the waist, bumm area, all the way to the length of the pants. I've never had this happen before so I was a bit shocked, not too mention embarrassed, since I was out and about with my friends when this happened. I wrapped a jacket around my waist and went on hoping it wouldn't fall off. I can't imagine Zara would sell products with such poor quality, this must be one of those pants that slipped through the quality check by mistake. I physically went into the Zara store in the Glendale Galleria hoping to get a replacement. But , because it has been over a month since it's purchase, I was Re-directed to calling their on-line customer service to get it resolved. So I did, to be told I needed to go into the store and speak to the manager to find resolution. Hello, I already tried that!!!! Their employees are so rude and have the biggest attitudes. Only a few times have I ran into an employee that was kind. I ordered a dress online because I wasn't sure if it was going to fit me or not. While I was waiting for the order I ended up having to have a major surgery and it turned out the dress was not going to fit me. So I called their care line to cancel the order and get a refund but they are telling me they can't do that unless I go in the store. Against my better judgement I went in hoping it will be quick so I can get my refund because this dress wasn't cheap. The employees with their terrible attitudes told me i needed to wait in line (I was about to collapse). I decided it's not worth it and I will have to call and they told me I needed to go in and there was no way around that. I wasn't arguing with them over the phone I was calmly asking questions and explaining my frustrations. I asked to speak to another person who might be able to help better and the caller hung up on me. So I'm at a loss right now. This location is high traffic and features many products not yet available online. Zara is fast-fashion which means they cycle through products fairly quick, and you might not find the things you liked last week anymore. If you find something at the store, you like and have the size available then you should get it right away or you'll be stuck trying to find online or other locations with very little luck (Iv been there)! This high traffic store has long line at the fitting rooms and an even lengthier at the cash register. Still, online ordering is best bet! Both shipping and return shipping are free with purchase of $75 or more, which is easily doable! Good store, can get over busy sometime which kind of make it hard to try things. read more

The Beverly Center Zara store and staff are amazing! The store was very neat and and clean, all clothes were folded. Everyone had great smiles and were very helpful. I was in the womens deparment and this tall nice guy asked right away "can I help you find something?" and of course I said yes please. I was looking for a gift, he asked what age groip and knew right away what was cool. Zara is my favorite store ever! The clothes are hip and the prices are the best the staff are nice. read more

This store is terrible. Employees are just fooling around . There is a line out the door and there is only 3 cashiers working. When customers complained and asked for more cashiers management was careless and said that the other employees aren't trained to be on the registers. If that is the case why let them work there. The fitting rooms are closed and they don't know when they will open. Terrible customer service and handling of customer issues.
