Green salad (quite large)
Chris D.

I stopped in this evening for my first time dining here and it was great! We love Japanese food and usually have it 2-3 times a month; Yume will definitely be added to our list of favorites. Very friendly server (and attentive). I did come in later in the evening and they were still very gracious about seating me and I was served quickly. It's a small, quant dining area but very clean. Thank you for such a nice experience Yume.

Sushi is almost religious experience for me. I have had a lot of it in a lot of places. Unfortunately, Yume kinda let me down. While the salmon was very fresh and tasty, the rolls are so small and wildly overpriced. Let's talk about the size issue, because this is more of a deal breaker for me than the price. There is so little in the rolls, and they're the wrapped in so little rice that they don't really stick together and begin to come unwrapped when picked up. I would rather have a roll that is less pieces and wrapped big enough to hold its shape. We also tried the teriyaki beef and broccoli and the meat was inconsistently cooked, some was really overdone. The sauce was also disappointing because it had very little flavor. I get that this is Lodi, but I can get sushi in San Francisco that's not only markedly better, but also cheaper. I usually give any place w couple tries, but I really don't think I will be back here, and really can't recommend you try it.

Fat tender udon noodles

I ordered lunch here last month and just remembered from my phone pics. My Udon soup hit the spot. The noodles were so big and perfectly chewy, and the broth was full of umami. I drove about 10 mins to pick it up. It was still piping hot when I got home. I tried both California Rolls - one with real crab and the other with imitation crab. Oddly enough, I preferred the imitation crab! Leftovers were decent the next day too. The Crunchy Rainbow Roll was also fresh and satisfying. I'm sure it would have been crunchier if it wasn't a pickup order. This place is small and casual. The cashier was friendly and polite when I took a while signing the receipt cause I forgot my glasses. I'd return to try more special rolls.

A couple of rolls

Probably some of the best sushi we've had and with some very unique combinations of things on some of the rolls. All excellent even the egg plant sushi. The texture of the egg plant was different but the flavor made it exceptional. A must try.

Ah-mazing sushi! Walked in on a Tuesday around 7 pm to find that this quaint little sushi spot was busy! Excellent and fast customer service experience! Dim lighting, quaint, low-key background music. We will definitely be back soon and I am telling all of my family and friends about Yume! Go - you will not be disappointed!!!

They do not use sushi rice for the nigri, does not complement the fish at. Fish wasn't that fresh, understandable it's in the valley.

I ordered a California Classic on Dutch crunch and a vanilla Matcha. The cashier was speedy and friendly! I also feel like the prices are great! Nice gals working at the register to take your order. Since it was almost Thanksgiving, I had a craving for a roasted turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. The Cranberry Express was the closest choice. I ordered it on a french roll with cream cheese, a little mayo, cranberry sauce and the turkey meat. I must say that I was disappointed with how little turkey was placed in my sandwich. Nothing what I expected. Everything was fresh, however, there could've been a bit more turkey in between the bread. I left out the lettuce and tomato only. That would've fluffed it up. For the price of $13+, and comparing it to what I saw in their menu photos, I don't think I'd return anytime soon for a sandwich (half pictured). They have a wide selection of salads, baked goods, cold beverages, bottled wine and also a butcher shop here too.

The ambiance is modern and young with ambient music and sports screens. For drinks we tried the "paper plane" (bourbon based) and the "touch me" tequila-hibiscus based. They tasted great and yes we ordered seconds! We also tried the calamari which came very hot with marinara sauce. Delish! The main course was their Pear/prosciutto pizza topped with arugula. The crust was thin and crispy and the cheese, wow the cheese! Very tasty, I recommend it. We would like to thank our server Antonio whose excellent service and professionalism made our night memorable. Pi Bar is doing it right. Check them out !

I loved the indoor outdoor setup, the bar scene, TVs playing games, and the overall lighting. We chose to sit outside and were seated quickly. The heaters made it comfortable even as it cooled down. They also have a wide variety of food options, which makes this a great spot for a group since there's something for everyone. They started us off with complimentary pinwheels which were nice to snack on while we looked over the menu. I do think they would be even better served the traditional way with lime and Tapatio. I ordered the Table Nachos as my meal, which would also be a great group appetizer. They were fully loaded and filling, but overall just okay. The chicken was a bit bland. It did the job, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. My fiancé had the Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich and was also a bit underwhelmed. For something labeled habanero, it lacked the kick you would expect. We both agreed the fries were the highlight. Service was friendly and our waitress checked in on us, but a few small things were missed and we had to ask more than once for items like extra napkins and sauce. While dinner was not a hit for us, it may have just been what we ordered. I would be open to coming back to try their brunch.

They have so many fresh, healthy options and I'm never waiting long for my very vegan friendly food. We like to order the build your own bowls, me with my falafel and he with his various meats. You can fit so many things in that bowl for $15. Enough food for two meals, and the ingredients are high quality. Win win. I like to do a salad base with my bowl (though one could choose rice or hummus base) with either the Mediterranean salad or the kale slaw, falafel, pesto hummus (all their hummus is fantastic), and whichever additional salad I didn't pick for the base. The Greek salad is also good just not as good as the other two in my opinion. Falafels are small but made to order and absolutely delicious. I do wish I could get moar in the bowl but I get it. I'm always willing to pay for quality food. Pita on the side is a must (comes with the bowl) and if you're feeling extra snacky they have tasty pita chips as well (additional cost, not included with bowl). Sauce is boss here as well. You get two with the bowl. The only one I don't care for is the vegan tahini but it's there if you want it. I love the tzatziki and creamy garlic sauces. The garlic is probs my fave. Don't want the bowl? They've got platters, snacks, fusion stuff, smothered fries, and wraps among other things. Dang it I'm hungry writing a Yelp review again. Such a problem. Anyhoo. We've eaten inside before but usually take our order to go for lunch. Customer service is solid and efficient. They have a clean dining area and self serve soda machine. No bathroom report notes as I've yet to partake. Vegan friendly spot too. Def come by hungry! Thanks Yafa.

One of the side choices gotta be that tasty hummus. It is Yafa Hummas, after all. Then trying the rest of the sides. The rice hits. The Mediterranean salad hits, the baba ganoush hits.
