Your Pie opened in Flagstaff recently and I just got the chance to come by on September 2nd. I've been to a few of the "build you own" pizza style places in the past. I was really surprised when I walked into Your Pie to see how bit and open the restaurant is. I was excited once inside to see what they had to offer. I also wanted to add how amazing I find it that they also serve gelato/sorbet, and also local beer selections on tap! FOOD: I got the BBQ Chicken Pie with banana peppers, bacon, and ricotta cheese added. My first job was at a family owned pizza shop in Scottsdale, Az so I'm a little bit of a pizza snob. After ordering and paying for my food (pizza and drink $12) I was happy that the pizza was delivered right to my table in under 10 minutes. The food was really great! My pie was cooked crispy and was full of flavor. I was also happy to see that this place offers free ranch dressing if you want! I would alone just return for the food. STAFF: I didn't interact with the staff much as this isn't a traditional serving restaurant. The staff making the pizza were willing to help with any suggestions and also friendly which was great for a business still so new to town. OVERALL: I really enjoyed my visit here to Your Pie. Flagstaff has been in need of some fresh and creative businesses. I'm glad to have a quality custom pizza place in town and will definitely be returning. This a Blaze type pizza place. You walk up tell them which dough you would like and then pick your toppings. Many to choose from.. Like the different option of cheeses. Love feta and goat on my pizza. Takes about 2 minutes to baked and then they deliver it to your table. No screaming your name. Liked then fact they also had a great selection of beer and wine. And desserts. Had a nice outside area with a fire pit. Live band playing when we were there so it was a little load. Not enough tables inside but that shouldn't stop you from going. read more

Went here with family while traveling over the weekend. Most of the rest of the family are all gluten intolerant but i am not. My order of a very good create your own pasta bowl came out within minutes as did another member's pizza came out pretty quickly too. The four gluten free pizzas took almost an hour to get to the table. We were informed twice that they were contaminated that needed to be remade/cooked. While we commended them for their honesty how did it take an hour to get this right? Whats more one of the pizzas was burned when it arrived. Even burned everyone liked their food. Not having to worry about gluten I would totally eat here again. As I said the pasta was the bomb. I do not think my gluten free family members would be as willing to try it again. read more

Well Hello!!!! We found this place one night just after the restaurants reopened after Covid for dine in. The place we originally had chosen had an hour wait time (from your car). We were bummed but now so happy or we would have never found this place! The menu is huge on the wall. It's literally on the wall for your viewing! You order an individual (pretty large) size pizza and get to put whatever in the world your little heart desires and although we've all been taught to be considerate of others when ordering pizza (cause you all share) here, you get to be a little selfish!! They have a bar with beer and wine! They have a wonderful out door dining area with fire pits and spacious indoor dining. It's clean, cool and so yummy! Super good pizza and salads!! Walked in at around 11 there was one poor kid working who seemed over whelmed with the orders that had come in. Employee apologized said he just had a big order come in. No problem, we wait to place our order. A few mins later a mob of people come in at rush lunch hour. Employee looks up and is stressing on the people and probably how many orders he has to fill. Felt bad for him, was working his butt off to try and get out orders. There was another employee here who popped out of the kitchen once in a while to throw some pizzas in the oven but wondered off like nothing was going on. The pizzas were very good and worth the wait. The employee even went to our table again to apologize for it taking so long and asked if the food was good. I was really excited to try this new pizza place! It did not disappoint. I love that you are able to choose as many toppings as you would like and it not going up in price. This place has great potential but their system of ordering is awful. You stand in line for forever, and there are not even many people there. It's a bottle neck of people at the register because they are not only checking out people who are paying for their order but they are checking out people who are picking up to go orders and also the people who are trying to get more gelato or more drinks. Either open up another register or figure out a way to remove the bottleneck. It is inefficient and a waste of time. I heard good things about Your Pie from my kids so we ordered delivery last week and it was "meh" at best. One pizza was a large pepperoni. The other mushroom and black olives. The toppings were fine and fresh but the crust was tasteless and flat. Not flat and crispy. Just flat and completely tasteless. My preference is for the crust to be an ingredient to the overall taste experience not just a delivery mechanism for the toppings. The crust had all of the flavor of a vegan, soy free, salt free, gluten free limp cracker. We will probably order again and see if it was an issue with what we ordered or if that this is not the place for us. read more

The only way I can describe Your Pie to out of town guests is "like Subway but for pizza." It truly is- you choose your crust (white/wheat/gluten free/cauliflower), your sauces, your cheeses, veggies, and meat, and then they pop your specialized, personal sized pizza in their oven and cook it right when you build it. It's a neat process, your food is always 100% fresh, and everybody gets exactly what they want- no compromising. I usually get the BBQ chicken pizza, and it comes out perfectly every time. They have a menu board with some pre-made options, but you can choose to do a totally personalized pizza version of your own. I got the combo special today that includes a drink with free refills and a side of chips, though you can choose a side salad or gelato as your side. If you're in the mood for dessert, definitely go to the gelato, it's delicious. Your Pie even has a small bar area with beer, wine, and root beer on tap. They have a small area of board games, as well as an outdoor patio for good weather days. Got a burnt and soggy pizza for a kids order. My 5 yo says just ate one slice which was less burnt and complained. I called the manager explaining the situation . He said that he is ok to make one more for me after he made a comment that he personally took the pizza from oven and it was not burnt. I had been craving pizza after being at Lake Powell for eight days and was super excited to come here, but was quickly disappointed when I got my cold pizza. I don't know if the employees are not taking into consideration how one pizza takes so long to cook compared to the other pizza in the same party, but my husband's pizza was lukewarm. I'm guessing my pizza was sitting waiting for his to cook. . I ordered the cauliflower crust at a $4+ added cost - not good, I've had frozen which was much better. I question is the oven was at the ideal temp because it took a while to get our food; I've been to similar style cooking establishments which served the pizza hot and much quicker. I don't offer reviews with inflation. In other words, I will only give reviews in which are factual and how I felt the service was received. To start out this was my first visit going to Your Pie. I have a gluten intolerance and have not been able to enjoy pizza in awhile. The last time I had pizza was at Pizza Press. To go on with my experience, I walked in the door to what felt like a welcoming vibe and modern feel. Having experienced ordering down-the-line pizza places before I had a feeling of where I needed to start my order. A person who has never experienced this type of ordering style may be confused due to the lack of signage directing where a person is to order. When I approached the counter to order I was not greeted, yet asked what I wanted. I asked for a gluten free crust and explained it was an allergy. Having never been there before the lady grabbed a piece of receipt paper and asked what toppings I wanted. Well what do you have? There are no sign labels of toppings nor was she any help. As she stood there staring at me I walked down the line to see what they offered. My order: GF crust, pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, onion, mushroom, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and fresh basil on top. After yelling at an employee in front of everyone in the restaurant to stop burning pizzas, she handed the receipt paper with my order to another employee telling him to make the pizza. He then preceded to walk in the back of the restaurant with the piece of paper. The lady then handed me a laminated card. What is this for? What does this mean? It would have been nice for her to say something along the lines of, your order number is ___, and please give this card to the cashier to pay. Here's my issue with the what I just went through. When you order a pizza in a down-the-line style the experience of it is that you get to see what's going on your pizza as you walk down the line. Since I ordered gluten free as an allergy, I was neglected to receiving this experience. The next thing that troubles me is that if an employee has an issue with another employee you ask to speak to that employee in private, not shout at him in front of customers. Finally, the lack of explanation throughout the whole service was lackluster and a bit disappointing. At this point I was thinking about just leaving without my pizza or paying. After finally getting to the cashier to pay, I had to wait another 5-10 minutes. The cashier (not even dressed in work attire) decided to have a conversation with a customer. I assume he was the owner. This man gave the impression of not having a clue on how to work a cash register. It looked like a caveman who just discovered fire. While he was nice and polite, he didn't give off a feeling of welcoming, more of a trying to make me feel uncomfortable. The "owner" up-sold me into a combo of a drink and salad. I picked out the caprese salad which was pre-made and had a side of dressing in it. When I opened the salad container the tomatoes on the opposite side were moldy white and had an off smell to them. The spinach leaves were a wilted and the "fresh mozzarella" was wet and smelly. I let the "owner" know and he offered me another one. I politely said no, and took a seat to wait for my pizza to finish. Once getting my pizzas after 20min it was served to me I found some of the toppings to be burnt, missing completely, and lacking in the amount of toppings. I stood up and went to the register to ask the "owner" if he could add more artichoke hearts. He smiled and says no problem; preceding to walk away from an open cash register, with money sticking out of the drawer. The rude lady employee walks up and yells across the restaurant to the "owner" to close the register, and slams it shut. He comes back handing me my pizza and says to the lady that he had mistakenly forgot. To which he receives a questionably rude glance from her. My overall impression: For a first impression of the restaurant and its experience it was very underwhelming. If it wasn't for the rude service, the irate attitude of this lady employee, lackluster experience, and a quality product I would have given them a more-star review. My advice to the owner/manager: To offer Gluten Free customers the experience of down-the-line ordering I would suggest understanding when gloves are and are not necessary. FDA only requires gloves for ready-to-eat foods (food that is not to be cooked). With this being said if you're trying to play towards a sanitary way of topping pizzas, I would advise you to have your employees not use gloves when touching the dough. To only put on gloves when you are putting on the toppings. Also keeping a neat workstation free of excess flour will ensure that the gluten free customers can have the same experience as everyone else. If you're worried about some toppings containing gluten, a simple pair of tongs and solve the problem. Thanks read more

Delivery driver acts dumb about it. Then when I call the store I'm told there is nothing they can do. She said she'd refund the price of the pizza. It never happened. I thought whatever. This is the first time in Arizona. My friends and I landed in Flagstaff. The interior of this restaurant is very unique, colleague like and extremely spacious. They have a bar and also a variety of wine and beer. You can create your own pizza just like a chipotle style. The staff were very kind and friendly. They bring the pizza up to your table after seating yourself. The pizza were delicious!! Not to oily or doughy. Each customer pie is good for an individual. It's definitely filling. Walked in and saw an employee named "bransen" with a piece pizza dough around his neck as if it was a necklace. Then proceded to play with it while making my pizza and then took it off and continued making my pizza. It was kind of gross and kind of unsanitary coming from a person working in the food industry. Great place to hang out with a beer and personal pizza. You can customize or order one that they have on the menu. Sometimes it's packed in there and you have to wait a little bit for your pie but just relax and take in the fire pit or enjoy the game on the tv. It's worth it. read more
