Here's why a 2. This yogurtland out of every yogurtland I've ever been to is the most Expensive Ever. They can argue that they charge the same as others per oz... but trust me, do a test..buy 1 cup of yogurt.. toppings etc.. then go to another like the pico Rivera one.. do the same and see the difference..the yogurt, toppings fresh and delicious but the final price is a RIP off. The location is great, the staff are neither friendly or rude..they're just there ..its clean..organized but definitely this store is not worth it... Business hours say they close at 10pm but at 9:24pm the place is doors open but closed for business. Why? The worker there says you actually close at 9pm. The hours on the door say otherwise. This place is horrible and the employees are not only rude but liars. Me and my gf went in today she had to use the restroom so we asked a employee there ( the lady replied it's only for customers) which I said we are buying yogurt. (so that was a dumb question) anyways then she said it was busy someone was in there so we decided to come back a few mins later after eating our yogurt and asked again then they lie and say it's closed. Why keep making things up instead of just saying there's no restroom available or something reasonable instead of wasting peoples time. I walked up to the door which was locked with two female employees staring at me and said nothing. Then I went to the other door and it was still locked . So I called the store with no answer and after 5 calls they answered and hung up. Then I called again and they kept me on hold without saying anything. I swung by on the evening of 11/30 shortly after eleven pm (Saturday night) only to be turned away because they were closed. The ligbts were on and doors were unlocked, but no dice. Before I came by, and given the late hour, I had called the location to ensure they were open so as not waste my time (or gas). Sure enough their recording stated they were open until midnight. I found the same information online regarding and confirming their hours for Saturday evening. Business hours are made available to serve a specific purpose. Largely to avoid what I experienced tonight. If this is how this particular location is going to operate, I'll pass on the notion of future visits. read more

First and foremost I'm taking into consideration that we are in the middle of a pandemic... while arriving to this location the girl serving the yogurt was so nice, sweet and polite... meanwhile the girl serving the toppings (her name was Maribel) had her right arm all with tattoos... What good things can I say about yogurtland that haven't been said? It's a great spot because its located in the heart of Downey, basically where everything is at. As for the yogurt itself, I think yogurtland is better than any of the smaller yogurt places. They've got a variety of flavors and toppings which all taste very well and are always fresh. There's just two other places I put above yogurtland; reason why I won't rate it above 4 stars. Note to all readers: just go with plain tart, top it off with some fresh fruit and a few other things you may like, trust, you can't go wrong. read more

Yogurtland is my favorite frozen yogurt shop out of all ones I've tried (Pinkberry, Red Mango, 16 Handles, etc.) so I was excited to find out that one of their newest locations is in Downey. The quality of the yogurt may not be the most superior, but I love Yogurtland's vast selection of flavors that are all very appealing. The location is a bit inconvenient to access, as is all of the other businesses in the new Downey Gateway complex, but the parking lot, albeit a bit cramped, is easy to access. On my first visit to this location, I was so excited to find that two of my favorite Asian ice cream flavors -- black sesame seed and green tea -- were available in frozen yogurt form! The sesame wasn't as strongly flavored as I had hoped, but the green tea was absolutely delightful. Not overly sweet, and a pleasant aftertaste of green tea goodness. Mmmmmm. The employees are really friendly, always asking if you would like sample cups, which they keep at the register and not next to the serving cups. The only thing I don't like is that people use their sample cups to get their fill of frozen yogurt, then leave without paying a thing. Not cool. Will be back to this Yogurtland whenever I'm in the area! read more

After several years of happy and satisfied visits to this location, tonight's excursion was a fiasco, and there was just one reason for it: the employees. We entered to find five or more other customers inside, milling about. The reason was that there was no one at the counter. After some time, my daughter leaned in under the glass barrier and grabbed a handful of tasting cups, then handed them out. I tried a couple of odd new flavors, but decided to go with my favorite. But it was empty. So I went to voice number two. Empty. And so was choice number three. I said, loudly, "This is a yogurt shop. Do you actually have any yogurt? I feel like I'm in Monty Python's Cheese Shop." I checked the time. There was over an hour until closing time. My daughter and I had just had a not so great dinner experience. We wanted yogurt to restore or happy moods. Because we were frustrated and therefore feeling petty, we tested all of the taps. Of 16 flavors offered, only FOUR were available. They were out of TWELVE flavors. I went to the cashier and let her know. She said, "Yeah. We're pretty close to closing time." No apology. I googled at the others in the shop. They were shaking their heads. The cashier finally offered to refill "any specific flavors" we wanted. Here's a thought: ALL OF THEM. That would be MY vote. It's FROZEN. It's not going to go bad overnight. They did refill my pick. I did buy it. But all of the other customers that had been there when we walked in gave up and left. If I were the owner, is be having a serious conversation with her and the young man who were working there this evening. Because that young man only came out from where he was hiding after the store was empty (we watched from outside). He noted all of the empty flavors on a clip board, which he presumably will pass on to the morning crew rather than just doing his job. Owner, you need better supervision. Whichever of these young people were the designated supervisor is not doing an effective job, nor honestly, any job at all. read more

Came to this yogurtland on a Saturday night and it was okay I give it 3 stars because you walk in and you can a taste the flavors and they just weren't that great I wasn't impressed by really anything that they had to offer. However when you walk in the place was really clean you can see that like they were really trying to make sure that the place stayed looking nice all day cause we did show up at night and the employees were really really really nice. The best place to park is behind the Yogurtland it's kind of weird because you can drive in front of it not see where to park but go around it and the parking is in the back is shares parking with all the other restaurants. Also it's not like other places when you walked in and the tasting cups are just sitting out you just have to ask the employees for them and they will give you a few of them. read more

We walked in an hour before closing and there was hardly any flavors. Closing time should be earlier if there is no flavors available. That wasn't the only issue there was two people working but only one person was serving yogurt then that same person was doing the toppings and then that same person was ringing people up. But there was two people working. They were both in horrible moods and had terrible attitudes. If they can't handle a rush of customers they shouldn't be working in a place like Yogurtland. My son and I felt rushed to get our yogurt and the server didn't even offer lids or bag for our treats. Horrible service. read more

The last time I visited a location was over a year ago so I couldn't remember which flavors I liked best so I liked the fact that I could use these little cups to sample the flavors. I love that they give you little sample cups so you can try new flavor. Which they always have something new every time I go there so it's nice to try it out. They have very limited seating inside. I really wanted to like this Yogurtland because of the area and other establishments nearby. The good: store was clean and service was friendly The bad: no chocolate (out of device) the red velvet came out watery The ugly: the one large family in there taking up space and their kid doing twirls when you are trying to get in the front door. I didn't see anyone of them with yogurt and they didn't mind standing in front of the water/ napkins or just in the way period. The place isn't huge so if you have a party of 8 you are going to have other customers bumping into you. The stars are simply for the service and I doubt I'll be back to this location.
