They accidentally added it and not only did they insist on remaking it, they let me keep the salad they added the dressing to and gave me a card to come back and get another free summer salad in the future. The fresh carrots/jalapeños were a nice touch with the panini especially if you're eating it with no sauce. The juice wasn't too bad either, not my favorite, but I was looking for something healthy so. I think without their deal, their prices are somewhat overpriced for me. Service is fast paced and ambiance is small. The parking is a bit inconvenient only because you only have one entrance/exit. Açaí bowls were mostly fruit and barely any açaí. Açaí itself tasted good, was sweet, but was just ok. The fruit wasn't very ripe. The biónico was an interesting combination of fruits. Again not sweet, and not very ripe. Pieces too large as well. Price was moderate, not the worst but not the best. Service wasn't very friendly either, and one of the girls was kinda rude to one of the other customers. Edit: just had a very spoiled piece of cantaloupe. It smells so strong of alcohol and fermentation. There's no way you can not smell that when cutting it up. What a disappointment. read more

Wifey and I were looking for something healthy and found this spot in Downey. We ordered ahead of time and drove from Bellflower to pickup. I was greeted right as I walked in, and our order was ready to go. They have an extensive menu, including açaí bowls, smoothies, oatmeal, etc. I orders the grilled panini with turkey, Wifey had the Spinach Wrap with tuna. Both sandwiches come with a small side of fruit, and sliced jalapeños & carrots. My sandwich was delicious, the chipotle on the panini added a great touch. Was excited to try this place because we fell in love with the Montebello location, however this location is not the same. I had the Choco banana and it was very watery and tasted a bit off. Not sure if the banana's were too ripe or perhaps it's the type of protein they use. I'm allergic to strawberries but my mother tried the strawberry banana smoothie and hers was very thick. She also said it tasted off compared to the Montebello location. Staff was quick and got the line down fast. Shop was also very clean but the music was on the loud side. Hate to leave a bad review, especially being my first one. Ordered two salads one being a Caesar w/ Chicken and a Vinaigrette w/ Chicken along with two juices -- A regular Citrus Ginger and a small Fat Burner. First off, they used old lettuce for the Caesar. The whole thing was wilted and yellow and tasted off. Next, the chicken in both salads were frozen and not cooked properly. Had a similar texture to eating raw chicken. The fat burner tasted disgusting. It had an awful bitter taste where something was off. Definitely couldn't drink it. Must have been the lettuce once again since that's one of the ingredients. Lastly, the Citrus Ginger was way too tart but was probably the better tasting thing out of everything.
