Always loved this place. Sometimes the service is hit and miss altho lately everyone has been very friendly! And yes sometimes the flavors are out. Or the toppings are low. But usually thats just 1 or 2 of them not everything. Pretty clean but limited seating. I wish they would bring back matcha. We went here in place of "The Scoop" on Spring st. next to the Eldo in Long Beach-Big scoops, good prices. To save time, gas, and daylight, and calories we chose fro-yo-which I have been craving. Parking is cramped-but park further out in the lot for less congestion. I had been here before-price for two was about ten bucks! Cons-Not much seating, definitely not enough chairs-as small groups enter in like schools of fish often. And the cramped lot design. Pro's: Decent price-definitely below Creamistry prices and healthier. Really well lit. They had a disabled person table-way to go Yogurtland! With a small group in front of us it still was fairly quick. Nice toppings, I enjoyed Maraschino cherry juice, cut strawberries and chopped almonds. They always offer tart!-my favorite yogurt flavor. There were at least 7 different flavors. Plenty of seating outside. Love the thick, colorful spoons. We love was almost Saint Patrick's Day. They gave me two free stickers. I definitely love those pistachio with the cookies and cream. service is so good. The toppings I love the sour candy I put in my yogurt, my favorite definitely the pistachio cookies and cream and the chocolate. It was so good. My recent experience I had at my local Yogurtland. My child and I asked for a sample cup to try the new vegan chocolate chip cookie dough. We went ahead and reached to scoop for the a cookie dough the associate working behind the counter stuck her hand out very rudely and said Sample cups are only for the yogurt. It made my child very uncomfortable thinking we were breaking a rule when clearly I am not going to purchase an item without knowing I would like this Vegan option. We always heard great reviews about Yogurtland and such, however when giving out sample cups they need to be more specific in implemented rules before handing out sample cups we were embarrassed. I wish the associate had a name tag so she can be trained properly on great customer service. Myself and my family will not be back. read more

Amazing that this place is still in business with the lackluster and rude customer service. The young skinny lady that worked today (October 15, 2020 at 6:00pm) was rude, impatient, and dismissive. Froyo has been so good for my body & our unborn (second-on-the-way) child, so I have attempted to try the various places surrounding Downey. Yogurtland, at least this one, gets 4 stars mainly because it's clean (it's still practically brand new) and it's in a nice location in the newish yet somewhat controversial (mainly to the locals) Downey Gateway. The parking lot behind this area pretty much sucks in my opinion because jackwagons don't park between the lines or you'll see SUVs tryin' to fit in compact spots. As if Firestone Blvd wasn't FUBAR'd enough already with construction & impatient drivers... So the place is clean. Employees are nice but not particularly attentive or helpful. I wish they'd clean the tables and chairs outside like every hour. Maybe try to get rid of the pesky pissants. Speaking of seating, there really isn't much inside, however, the outside area is usually not all that crowded on a Monday evening (we went at about 6 pm on 7/21/14). I wanted to try the limited time only Cosmo Sorbet, but they were out. At the time, no employees were in sight for me to whine to at that moment so I filled up with Salted Caramel Pecan for me and some Strawberry and Mango for our 1-year-old. My hubby concocted something to do with Peanut Butter and a few other yogurt flavors since he was bummed they didn't have (or anything like) Reese's peanut butter cups. They keep the peanuts in a separate container by the register because "some may have allergies..." Overall, it was flavorful, not watered down as one other reviewer insinuated. Loooooove Yogurtland! Any chance I get to go, I take it. You can go online and check what flavors each location has. I always have a good experience at this location. They have a lot of variety. Depending on how I feel, I will either get plain yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, mango, Oreos, almonds, and mochi...or vanilla ice cream with mochi, peanut butter cups, whipped cream and salted caramel! Sometimes I will add captain crunch to any of those two combinations. I've always liked this location, toppings vary by location, but this one always has a good selection of fruit and other sweet toppings. They also have real Oreos, not all locations offer that. Customer service is good. If you ask them for a sample cup they will let you grab as many as you want. Lastly, their prices. It's a bit pricey for me, 50 cents per ounce, and it ads up. But I go so often that I rack up points quick, so I usually have 4oz for free. If you just got the membership I think you get 3oz for free until you rack up enough points to become platinum. read more

It is conveniently located in the Downey Gateway Center on the corner of Downey Ave and Firestone Blvd. They have your typical flavors like Dutch Chocolate and Vanilla Bean for my picky girls and some of my favorites like Pistachio and Salted Caramel. Their toppings are always kept fresh and stocked which is always a plus. They also have tables inside and out, or if you want you can grab a seat by the fountain. The staff is always super friendly and the last time we came we were given coupons for free 3 oz. due to some of the flavors not being ready at opening (we were early birds).
