Stopped by Yogurtland on St. Patrick's Day around 5:50 PM and saw three employees--one tall guy and two shorter girls--standing by the register eating yogurt instead of helping customers. It felt unprofessional and honestly looked unsanitary. Eating in the front service area raises concerns about basic food safety and whether proper training is being followed. Definitely not a great impression.

Plain Tart was good but I am commenting on my experience at this specific location. My dad and I were declined samples because of a new rule in management. A staff worker said it was for this specific location. Did anyone else have this experience?

This locations concern about its customers safety due to COVID-19.

This review is primarily for team member "Derek" at this location. I live locally and come to this location and the Redondo Beach location very often. What was most refreshing was Derek's attentiveness and ability to answer my questions with a kind and professional attitude. I also love how this store has Monday-Thursday specials (see attached image). This is the only store that I have visited that has these great deals. I also appreciated the hand sanitizer and gloves provided to help keep us all safe. This location will continue getting my business. Once more, great job to Derek!

So glad they are open during this pandemic time. Yay for yogurt!! They will serve it to you as you tell them what flavors you want. This keeps my mind at ease knowing other people hands and such aren't on the handles causing any germ spread. I normally see people making big messes and never cleaning it up which is sad to see the employees always having to clean up after them- including topping areas. Thank you Carson Yogurtland for staying open and following protocols to stay safe and delicious!

Love the yogurt here, Darlene was very helpful. There was some challenges but we worked it out, I am a very patient person. From time to time I earn free oz of yogurt which I love. The location is clean with a friendly staff I will return very soon

I really like this location of Yogurtland. The manager (Tricia?) was nice and the place was spotless! And obviously the yogurt was awesome!

So take it for what it is.. and as a fellow Asian, I'm expecting natural strong flavors. I'll start with the best thing about the ice cream. The texture is a 5/5! Solid work on creaminess. Now for why I just wasn't so excited about it all. I talked about flavor. It's lacking. It tasted very milky and washed out and I really had to concentrate on exactly what flavor I was supposed to be tasting. We got three diff flavors. Regular vanilla bean, ny cherry, and halo halo. Another thing lacking was service. She was nice. But didn't seem excited to be there. And it didn't make me excited to be there. What killed it for us was the location as a whole. It comes off as a nice outdoor space. But no one cares about you. Honestly, all three times I've been to this location for different venues, I've had very rude encounters. No other place have I been to that's been this consistent with people who just don't care. So I guess my take away is - the place is fine. It'll hit the spot for ice cream. But take it and leave. They have so many cool venues around like hiro nori, nook, spam masubi... it's a shame that people around are so much about themselves.

What could make Handel's better??? Expand locations for convenience. Of course the usual x-factors of easy parking, no-wait short lines quick to serve, indoor ice cream parlor seating and the less-than-justified "lower prices, bigger portions" argument everyone has with every food vendor that exists... BUT truth be told, one of the reasons why I rank Handel's so high is the "Value" of the pricing and quantity compared to their peers competition along with the quality.

I come to this location all the time but never really pay attention to the pricing…read more The other day, I asked the girl at the counter if the small is the smallest size they have and she told me that there is a scoop that is at $2.50. I think, great since my elderly Dad is diabetic and shouldn't have a lot of ice cream, so I went with that but in a waffle cone, she said that would be $3.50. I said that's fine, I will have one in flavor A and the other one in flavor B, total came to $7.35 And I asked her to put the ice cream cone in a cup, so it would be easier for him to eat in the car as it was extremely hot that day, and I don't want it to drip all over the car. When she gave me the ice cream, it was both flavor in one cone. I told her I wanted 2 separate cone instead of all in one. And then she said it would be another $7, I was in a hurry, so didn't really put too much thoughts into it, and just charge it. So now I look at my charges, so it turns out the same serving, one is at $7.35 and the other is $7. When I get the ice cream, I asked her, so there nothing that is smaller than this. She said there is, but not in a waffle cone, it will be extra with a waffle cone. So I asked $2.50 in a regular cone and additional $3.50 for the waffle cone? She said yes!! I am still confused as to whether they have a smaller serving than small and how much it is. I check on the pricing people posted here and don't see a $2.50/$3.50 smaller size showing. It remains a mystery to me, and I really wanted to know as it will be a hot summer, both my elderly parents, who are diabetic, would probably asked for ice cream, and I really don't want them to have a small each on their own, since it is still a decent size and they don't like the same flavor, so they can't really share a small one.

Mont Blanc- honestly the only thing that was actually worth getting out of everything I tried. For $10 it's a bit pricey for the quality. I do know it's a lengthy process to make, but it's not even fresh. Upon opening the lid, there were some ice shards on the side of my cup. The chestnut part of it was extremely delicious but the cheesecake on the bottom was so stale and dry. Chestnut cookie - so small. Only contained a few pieces of chestnut. The cookie is dry. Chestnut donut- this is literally a cake version of the cookie. To my disappointment, this was not fresh. It was cold- like refrigerated cold. So dry and stale. Chestnut wheel cake- this was warm but the cake part of it is also soooo dry. Overall the chestnuts are delicious but the execution of the items is so poor. I was very disappointed because I loved the chestnuts. Maybe next time I will just get the roasted chestnuts.

The place has this classic ice cream shop feel with pastel aesthetics mixed into a modern clean vibe which mixes practicality with style. I LOVE the glass panel decoration and the front decor which are simple details yet convenient decoration. The options have an interesting range in diversity, from ice cream and drinks. Their combinations are so unique, blending trendy flavors like matcha, honey, and many more delicious flavors. My favorite flavor I have tried so far, was the Dalgona Affogato--which I picked because I was thinking of the squid games. The dessert was so smooth but the honey was slightly overbearing. If that is not to your preference, they have other options that can certainly fit to your taste buds. The ice cream is perfectly sweet and an excellent treat in this summer weather. The honey crisps placed on top of the ice were so little, which I wished they had a bit more since it tasted so good with the smooth ice cream. Another thing I hoped was for the affogato to be a bit bigger portion. But then again, I am unsure about the sizings of affogato since this is my first time trying it. Thank you Honeymee Gardena for the experiance, hoping to try more in the future.
