Stopped by Yogurtland on St. Patrick's Day around 5:50 PM and saw three employees--one tall guy and two shorter girls--standing by the register eating yogurt instead of helping customers. It felt unprofessional and honestly looked unsanitary. Eating in the front service area raises concerns about basic food safety and whether proper training is being followed. Folks in Torrance and surrounding areas, this frozen delight of many choices of high quality sorbet and real frozen custard (not fake ice milk), plus excellent service should not be ignored. In a world of fast food junk and chain restaurant inadequacy is this fine gem. The flavors of sorbet available are numerous, and you can mix and match to make them into your own creation. I had sour apple with salted caramel that made for the same, but frozen taste, of a granny Smith apple dipped in fresh Carmel and sprinkled with salt, was out of this world. This is a must visit. It's a small store front at the north-west corner of Western and Carson in Torrance across from Ralph's. I have never given such high praise to any other establishment ever. What was most refreshing was Derek's attentiveness and ability to answer my questions with a kind and professional attitude. The store is very clean even during COVID, it's a great idea that the workers are the ones in charge or putting yogurt and toppings, it's more safe. This location is friendly, clean, and welcoming! Im so happy Carson has a Yogurtland, but we deserve better than what I saw today at 4pm. The grates under the machines were VERY messy... Yogurt all over the place. A lady asked if someone could clean up the mess, it didn't happen while I was there. Also all the topping seems to be the sugary kind ( candy,cereal, cookies) The nuts they did have ex. almonds and walnuts were in a shaker container, but empty. The toppings in the trays (ie. cookies) were not broken down, so they are pointless as toppings... I cant say I had the best experience... I hope it gets better Yogurtland. read more

Writing this review for my hubby he just had a bad experience with the worker that works there he didn't catch her name but she's always in the afternoon. Every time he goes there, theres never any toppings. Now variety like other Yogurtland. This time he said "every time i come here there's no toppings why is that" and she responded "that's not your business". There was another lady there when it happen and said oh wow if they treat customers like that I'm not buying and both left. Get it together. read more

At first, I was surprised that the yelp rating was 4 stars. I can't disagree though. There was a line from the start of swirling yogurt to sprinkling toppings on (or pouring them haha). Finally! A Yogurtland within the boundaries of the 710, 405, 110, and 105!! This is both exciting and dangerous. This little Yogurtland is tucked between the Target and the south entrance to the Carson Mall, or as the kids call it, The Southbay Pavillion. It has seating outside and limited seating inside. The handles you pull down on the yogurt machines are new and don't take that much energy to pull down. Frozen yogurt technology is advancing my friends. The staff is really friendly and ready to make this location a success. They're definitely keeping this locale clean and greeting customers when they come in. The best part is that this location is open until 12 MIDNIGHT ... the cashier said everyday!!! I think I yelled a little when he told me that. He also mentioned that they'll keep those hours indefinitely, but that he's hoping the hours will stay that way to quench that late night sweet tooth ... it's like we had known each other forever when he said that. read more

My husband and I were excited to see that there was a Yogurtland opening up so close to home. We love Yogurtland so much that we made it a part of our wedding day! Sadly, our first experience at this new location was a bad one. I hope that after reading this review management gets it together! Issues Cleanliness- The place was dirty when we walked in. It was not too busy and there were PLENTY of employees standing/goofing around for the mess on the floor not to be cleaned up right away. The toppings bar was messy and unkempt. The tables and chairs outside were dirty too. Staff- The staff was inattentive to customers and cleanliness. The worse thing was that there were so many of them in that little place that they were just in the way. I wanted to send them home myself! Toppings Bar- All of it was messy. Yay, a yogurtland in Carson! Located on the south side of the mall closest to Target the shop is accessible from the exterior. There are several 20 minute stalls immediately across the way. As you walk up there are about 4 little tables a couple chairs at each, umbrellas and a bench. Walk in cups are on the right, yogurt straight ahead, toppings on the left of the yogurt & cashier is left of the entry door. There are one or two more tables inside. Unisex bathroom to the right of the door also. Shop is minimal but they had plenty of yogurt flavors available. Mexican Hot Chocolate flavored yogurt was amazing with the Vanilla. He is the best employee I've see at this location. Very lively, welcoming, and overall nice guy. I think this place should definitely follow in his elite customer service skills. Thank you Ryan! Went on Mother's Day & received and unexpected gift. FREE yogurt!!! Yaaaaasssss honey!!!!! (Snaps three time in the air...Snap! Snap! Snap!) They had a rainy day special going on, which was buy one get one free so I definitely took them up on their offer lol, the 2nd one was not for me but you cant beat that deal. This location is next to the Carson mall and surprisingly enough its never crowded. I wish they had more sugar free no fat options available. I ended up getting the French vanilla yogurt bc that was the only sugar free no fat option available. Overall I'm enjoying my treat today!! read more

Update 3/5/2016 I received an email for the rainy day by one get one free special. It wasn't exactly raining cats and dogs yet, but I still thought I'd ask if they'd honor the BOGO. So I went in and there were no customers yet. In fact, from outside the store looked closed because of the poor lighting inside. The girl working inside came out. She said that it would have to be pouring in order to get the offer. So I waited outside, because it was very cloudy. All of a sudden it began dripping, so I went back inside. The other person working said they would have to ask the manager first. The first girl I spoke with came back out and honored the offer, but reminded me that next time it had to be pouring. Thank you Genesis for helping me out and making sure I received excellent customer service!! --------- really like this place a lot! They aren't stingy with sample cups and the staff are very inviting and friendly! The toppings are usually well-stocked and they are always on top of keeping up with new flavors. Personally I've always favored the various chocolate yogurts or the plain tart. I think plain tart is probably the best one because you can dress it up with any kind of topping they have available. A few of my favorite toppings are the lychees, maraschino cherries, mini Eminem's, cheesecake, peaches, a variety of fresh fruits, or even plain is delicious! There are so many flavor combinations you can create. It's fun to make your own and especially fun for the kids! Tables and seating is very limited but a few are available inside and outside. Because this location is part of a mall, parking can either be easy or difficult. It just depends on the day and time you decide to go. Also, it's very conveniently located at the entrance of the mall next to Target. I can stop by after I've done my shopping, which is a big plus. This is the worst yogurt land in the south bay. It was my second time going to this location in the last two weeks and they just don't care about there customers. What I mean by this is that they DUMP there yogurt 30 minutes before they close, and they then lie to you telling you that the machines broke. You can clearly see buckets full of yogurt just dumped, I don't know why they lie or why I chose to stay. I should have walked out like the last 5 customers did after seeing that there selection of yogurt is small due to them dumping there flavors so they can leave early. This location is always dirty, unorganized, and they truly don't care about how they run there business. I wish the Gardena location did not close early, then I wouldn't have to have ever come back to this location. read more
