This is always my go to when it comes to ice cream or frozen yogurt or delicious desserts. They have a few stores around the area, but this one is closest to my home. I have a few pictures of the inside, which I normally go through the drive-through but today, my wife and I decided to go in and sit down. There is a few tables that are in the store, but not a lot of seating so usually you'll see people either picking up a yogurt and leaving or using the drive-through mostly at this particular store everything is made right in front of you and you can see just how busy the workers are. Just for reference these yogurts are pretty thick so they're very filling and don't let the cup size fool you. If you're not too hungry, then I would go for a smaller size and that way you aren't wasting or over eating.

My wife talked the server into a triple flavored sherbet creation that she loved.

We have been coming to the Yogurt Mill for quite a few years now. Back when I was a teacher at a nearby high school, they were most accommodating when I brought my student club here for treats after an event they did. Nothing but good things to say about the food, service and even the ambiance within the place. KUDOS.

Half full topping container

Placed an order online and went to pick it up, we got a little bit down the road and realized they forgot one of our yogurts. No big deal, we drove back and they gave it to us. When we get home we grab everything out of the bag and we ordered a side of m&ms and the container is like legit half full. We ordered the regular sized topping and not the mini.

Tbh I have no clue what I ordered but they were so helpful in the process when I told my allergies. The bowl was delicious! It was also nice to beat the heat inside for a minute. Will be back!

Pup-Yos!! One of each flavor with some sassy pants dogs.

This is the best place for frozen yogurt in town, in my opinion! I always go through the drive-through, and it's nice that there are two different sides, especially when it gets busy in the warm months. They are a little bit pricey but, the quality is unmatched! I love that they switch their flavors up, so you can always get a different variety. They have lots of different options to pick from, like shakes and other options, but I always get the frozen yogurt cups and mix a couple of different flavors. What's amazing is that they have frozen yogurt for dogs. They are called pup yo''s and there are two different flavors. They're super cute little mini non-dairy frozen dog treats with a little dog biscuit on top. Expensive but it's a great treat for my dogs.! I've always had excellent customer service here. I come here quite frequently because it's close to my house. Looking forward to all the new flavors they're going to have this summer!

Love the slogan! Life, love & froyo!

Came to YM on Oakdale Road. The customer service was improved. The shake was delicious! It is still expensive, but with a student discount, it softens the blow! I like the improved ambiance of the drive-thru. I have not been in a while, so the awning was new to me! Wish they had salted caramel pretzel as a staple item. Hopefully, they'll consider this for the near future! :)

First of all honorable mention to how big the cups are. I got child size and It's like your average extra large at a different ice cream place. The only bad part about this place is a little bit cold and not that much room. The heavenly vanilla mixed with chocolate hits hard but you can only get that for like five more days so make sure to go there.

Although I write many reviews, I cannot remember the last time I actually rated a business this low. It started last week when the hubby & I swung in for the signature holiday frozen yogurt (Peppermint Oreo), only to be disappointed by the order being wrong. We chalked it up to a bad night for the workers. But tonight I went in after craving peppermint all day long...only to get home to a chocolate frozen yogurt! Again NO peppermint...the order wrong! Ugh! It shouldn't be that difficult, my receipt said peppermint...but that is not what they served me. Needless to say we won't be going to the Yogurt Mill anymore...fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

All of the ice cream was delicious, and most impressive was the sandwich. It's an "order at the counter" type of establishment, but there is plenty of seating and self-serve ice water available for the guests. They also hire folks with barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities, and partner with the county in a job training program for young persons with disabilities. I love knowing I'm supporting this effort with my patronage. I would highly recommend all of the ice cream and we'll definitely be back for the Chicken Avocado Sandwich!!

That was big reason I hadn't come in so long. I have not tried the food or even really looked at the menu so I'm not sure about plant based options. The service was great. I looked around for Waldo, got my stamp, then ordered ice cream. I got the non dairy mint and cookie, it was delicious, 10/10, no notes. I'm not sure if they rotate non dairy flavors or just keep their staple options on the menu. I'll have to go back to find out. The inside is probably the same as it's been for many years. It's got a very old school vibe, I dig it.

They were cheerful and made me feel so welcome and glad I brought my son in! Customer service should be about treating people with kindness, especially when they're already having a difficult time. The interaction left my husband feeling embarrassed and upset, which is the last thing anyone expects when picking up a simple ice cream order. He wasn't looking for anything special just a little understanding and respect. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude completely ruined the experience. We hope the staff, especially the management at this location, receive better customer service training because no customer should be treated that way. Sadly, Cold Stone Creamery is now on our ban list.

Download the app, sign up, scan your barcode, earn swirls, get $5 or $10 off an order, and a reward on your birthday I believe. You no longer have to call ahead for flavors, you can go on their website, instagram, or Facebook. I get the açaí bowls pretty often, they are yummy. I sub the coconut granola for regular granola. I most recently ordered the vanilla oat milk with the non dairy peach and it was delish, think peaches and cream. I also love the non dairy orange flavor with the vanilla oat milk, takes me back to the Orange Julius days. The drive through line is frequently very long, but I've accepted it. It is the yogurt mill way. If you choose to sit in the drive through line, whatever your reasons, car full of kids, a sleeping baby, a disability, you need to catch up on texts or emails, it truly doesn't take that long and it's nice to have the drive through option available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I remember coming to yogurt mill in high school and my friends working, 20 some odd years ago. I love, love, love the nostalgia this place brings me. There is inside and outdoor seating available. It's usually not so busy that you can't find a seat. I've literally never had an issue when I wanted to dine in. There's a water bowl for pets if you happen to have a dog with you. We sometimes cruise the Virginia corridor with the doggies, so it's a thoughtful touch that they have that available for fur friends. The music is present but not overwhelming, can't say that I've ever really even noticed it. Check it out, explore the flavors and toppings or stick to the classics, the world is yours. Remember you can ask for a sample if you're curious.
