I had a wonderful experience at this cold stone location under Ayan customer service. He had made me felt I was really family to him and gave me good new flavor ice cream options. Cherry on top, the dining room was clean!! read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Silk® Chocolate Almondmilk Frozen Dessert - Sample - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Modesto, California

Amazing. Holiday flavors are in! After shopping at Costco, what sounds good? Ice cream! I had to check out this location and glad we did. I got one of the current holiday flavors for Christmas. Just delicious. The gingerbread flavor got me in the mood to do some more Christmas shopping! Haha. How can you go wrong with gingerbread and ice cream. But there's so many other flavors to choose from as well. This location is a good one. Very friendly staff to assist with any questions. And quick service. Inside is very spacious and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Holiday spice and everything nice. With frosted gingerbread ice cream, ginger snaps, vanilla icing and holiday sprinkles. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Modesto, California

How are you gonna own an ice cream shop and not be able to afford the energy it takes to keep the ice cream frozen... I guess just don't go in the peak of summer unless you want melted cream soup. Not only is it hot inside the actual ice shop but the cold stone used to mix topping was not cold ... another irony. I asked for marshmallow fluff and it was as hard as dried chewed gum. read more

Asked if they had gift certificates and they replied yes. Went to pick one up for a friend who was having her tonsils removed and wanted her to be able to go and pick up some ice cream for her recovery. The attendant, who I am not sure even spoke English, just smiled and nodded yes and no to any of my questions. I am not even sure he knew what I was asking. read more

Terrible service. I haven't been here for quite awhile. I always remembered that it was good but today, with the new owner, they would not honor the gift certificate I had. There's no expiration date on the certificates but he was very adamant about not honoring them. I would never go to this place again. read more

The ice cream was really good and I don't know why people say this business has the worst Customer Service but they greeted me and was really nice. The only problem was the bathroom was out of order. I feel like they ca. make improvements from the wear and tear on the wall. read more

Although the ice cream is good, the customer service is lacking. I thought this time would be different, but yet again the employee helping us was less than friendly and seemed to not like his job. My daughter and I laughed as we went in wondering if yet again this employee would seem to hate their job. The answer is yes. They all seem to hate their job and it shows with the lack of friendly customer service. The environment is sad too. We take it to go because the vibe in there is dreary. read more

Wonderful place with great staff and delicious ice cream. I love there ice cream taste for its rich creamy flavor! Highly recommended!!! read more

First of all, since it's under new management, the customer service sucks! The guy I'm sure that owns it has NO personality whatsoever, he does not greet you, it's almost as if he didn't want to provide service. The quality of the ice cream servings were given to you as if you were a child, didn't add enough of the mix ins, I will never ever go there again, I'd rather stick with the one on McHenry. Sucks! Sucks! Sucks! Don't waste your money or time. read more

Cold Stone creamery is hands down our favorite ice cream spot, franchise or not. So we have tried a few in the area. This one seems a bit older from the inside although it's clean, I think it's just the choice of flooring. The shopping area is a great location with many other places nearby including Costco. I'm excited to see they now offer an almond milk ice cream option for my son with a milk allergy. I dont know if all locations have this deal- but we went in and they had buy one love it size (medium) and get a kids size free with 1 topping! This was exciting because the medium was good for us both adults plus the small for our kids. Only weird thing was there was four of us and the girl only gave us 2 spoons, seemed like they're stingy with the spoons behind the counter so I felt bad returning again and again for spoons. read more

I love Cold Stone Creamery!!!! Unfortunately, the closest location to my house is about 35 miles away. Whenever I see one I try to take advantage and indulge. Every location has some different flavors... This one had peanut butter cookie dough Yum!! All of their flavors of ice cream are sinful. I love mixing coffee and banana together... So good. I am also a big fan of the peanut butter and chocolate combinations, as well as their version of a mud pie. I am sure there's sherbet so amazing, however I have never tried any yet. read more

This is the second time we have been in within a few months apart. The ice cream is good but visit 1 we were served the smallest portions which is ridiculous considering what they charged there but that wasn't a normal occurrence so we gave them another try. This time we overcharged, this could have been prevented. The employee was hard to understand with her accent and she clearly had a hard time understanding us and the menu. She tried to serve us the wrong ice-cream twice, my kids ordered rocky road but wanted to add waffle cones. She charged me for two gotta have its for my children and tried to say it was because the got the cones. No the menu says pick a size and add a cone. Kids should not automatically be served the biggest size because they added a cone. Then I ordered a like it and she made it then asked me if she could just put it in the love it container, I assume for space although it would have been just right in the container I ordered. I only realized that she had overcharged me after I paid and sat down with my family to eat our ice cream. My bill was $50 for my 2 kids and 2 adults. So I walked over and asked her about how she over charged me for mine and over served/charged me for the kid's. She calls her boss and has a conversation on speaker phone with him and they are speaking a different language until I hear him say " only give her the dollar back, nothings free!!" I wasn't even asking for anything for free, the lady clearly needs to learn the menu, communicate better and take responsibility for messing up. I won't be returning read more

Great customer service! Yummy ice cream! The place is clean. I took my 5 yr old here for a birthday treat. We weren't sure what to order so the lady helping us said she'll make a special flavor mix for my daughter. We got the Barbie ice cream, since it was for her birthday she gave us extra sprinkles!! I will definitely come back! read more

Great and friendly customer service. Under the new management and the place looks clean and awesome. Tried strawberry blonde and few other flavours and the ice cream is always of good quality and so tasty. I will definitely be back to try some new flavours. read more

Love the cakes here, never had a bad experience until now. Went to pick up a birthday cake with a simple request which was to write "Happy Birthday Christopher".Came to pick up expecting it to be big and nice hand writing. Extremely disappointment with what I received. They didn't even want to fix it! A 6 year old can write better than this. read more

Cold Stone Creamery - Tall Tall, Dark & Delicious Cake - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Modesto, California

I usually don't do yelp reviews whatsoever, HOWEVER i went in a couple days ago for some ice cream and the worker there (JACKIE) had such a bad attitude!! It's almost as if she was doing me a favor selling me ice cream. She did not greet or say a word to me while i ordered and just made me not feel welcome. These type of workers need to be let go or given the proper training if not customers will make the drive to go elsewhere to avoid these situations. read more

I could tell the difference as soon as I walked in! The store was clean and bright! Finally under new ownership and the family is doing a great job!! Ice Cream was perfect, they're making it the right way. (I would regularly see gritty ice cream with the previous owners.) They're doing great and the store looks awesome, will definitely be going back! read more

We decided to get ice cream and arrived at 9:45pm: We went in and the lady at counter looked a bit bothered, they close at 10pm. We asked for 2 flavors to which she said no, due to the stone already turned off. We then asked for vanilla with Oreo cookies, medium, she out 1 Oreo in it, crushed it and gave it to us. Others walked and to which she said, "I'm sorry , we are closing". Mind you, they close at 10pm. read more

We ordered a cake here for my sisters 40th birthday. It looks like we made it at home and let it sit out for too long and put it back into the freezer. It doesn't make any sense why a place of business such as Cold Stone would allow an ice cream cake to look like this, when it was preordered. The cake is also cracked and you can tell it's been iced over. It was literally an inch and a half tall. The sad part about this, this isn't the first time this specific Cold Stone has let us down. Thanks for ruining a birthday once again. This is the last time we buy anything from this Cold Stone. If you want a cake worthy to share with your family and friends, do yourself a favor and go to the other one at the mall. I promise you it's a hundred times better that this crap. read more

Sharan is the new owner. He bought this location only 20 days ago. I just got the caramel apple ice cream flavor, and it was delicious! Sharan was so helpful and was very in control. Even with a line, he assured the other guests that he would be right with them. He was so professional! Great new owner! Go now to support Sharan!! read more

After completely devouring my fantabulous ice cream masterpiece in a manner of a week, I vowed to return for the ice cream cupcakes. Three varieties are available for your consumption. All are served in a Belgian Chocolate cup. I selected the ones with pink frosting (naturally), covering cake batter flavor ice cream and red velvet cake. Oh ice cream cupcake...you had me at the first bite. So sweet and creamy and cupcakey. Very rich and filling, and probably loaded with fat and calories. Worth every bite. ;) read more

Very disappointing. I remember cold stone as being high quality ice cream. I haven't been in a while and thought I would treat myself. So sorry I wasted $5! Walked in and it was completely empty. A worker named Jackie came out and she was rude and had an attitude. We were the only customers and she didn't greet us. Made the ice cream incorrectly and gave attitude when we corrected her (nicely by the way). Someone needs to teach that girl to have a better customer service attitude. Not the customers fault for her personal problems that she seemed to have brought to work with her. read more

I came into this cold stone location with the intention of purchasing an ice cream for myself. I was with my daughter who wanted dipping dots ice cream but had no spoon, since I was in line I asked the male employee if we could please get a spoon. The cold stone employee looks over at my daughter & seen her holding the dipping dots ice cream then refused us a spoon when we asked for one. The employee claimed they did not have any but why would they not have any spoons when they serve ice cream? I then decided not to ever buy from this location. read more

There was a female with pink hair and uneven winged eyeliner. She had so much unnecessary attitude and and we were the only customers there! She was very impatient too. I have not had cold stone ice cream since 1999 and I don't even know what came to my mind to try this place. Never again though. Terrible customer service! And the music they were playing was trashy hoe shit. This review is strictly for the pink haired girl who worked on 2/26 during 8PM. read more

5 years later I decided to give this place another try. Stupid me! This time I'm enclosing pictures. I ordered a cake and I ended up with a pie. It was exactly 1 1/2 inches tall and cracked in 3 places. I don't know how this place stays in business. Looking at this cake you know it is not saleable, but guess what, they pawned it off on me anyway. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! read more

I don't eat much Ice Cream but when I do this is the place. What makes it unique here in Modesto is that you can get whatever mixture your little ol heart desires. Makes me feel good all over on a hot summer day. Have been to all the locations here in Modesto so wont bore you with reviews on all of them. Nuff said. Triple Thumbs up read more

I usually love love love CSC however this time around I was a bit disappointed. I ordered up my usual Love It Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip Creation and what I got was almost soup, really?!?! Guess the "stone" wasn't cold enough or the clerk needs to be retrained. In any case there better be an improvement on my next visit! read more

Well I wish I looked at the reviews before I came here! I was craving ice cream (prego problems) I usually go to Loards because they are the best and I've been going to them since I was a kid, but I didn't feel like going that far. I came in here and ordered one of the sundaes they have, the girl said, can you order something else, I don't know how to make that you work in a freaking ice cream place how do you not know how to make that!! So I ordered something else, the girls response was, I don't have whip cream and I can't remember what else she said they didn't have. After finally making two ice cream orders(took her over ten minutes), I also ordered and small tub, she spent five minutes trying to figure out how to get the ice cream in the freaking tub, then while paying I noticed they had the tubs with all the cones, open so there were flys all over them, thank God I didn't order a cone! Let's just say these girls had no tips at all, from any of the people that came in. These girls need to find new jobs asap! read more

The two girls working Saturday night, 11/19, were such airheads and just shouldn't be working in customer service. Jennifer more than the other girl who wasn't wearing a name tag. We walked in, weren't greeted while we stood in line for 20 minutes. They were moving SO SLOW, when they should have been going quick for the six people who were in line. Then, Jennifer needed to move a hose? Not sure what that was about, but then she decided to start working on someone else's ice cream immediately after when I stopped her and asked if she was going to wash her hands after touching equipment- that was clearly on the floor- and she replied "but it's clean..." and then she turned around and washed her hands. Then finally, she shoved the ice cream in the size cup I got, and while she was wiping it down and trying to shove the lid on when I finally asked her if that was going to be a disaster when I opened it. She couldn't even answer me and she looked at her coworker and she said "not if you put it in the freezer first." I'm sorry but I will not be returning to this Coldstone after tonight and I hope you don't either because there are other better Coldstones, and ice cream places, in the area. read more
