I stopped in to this store bc we live in Oakdale and it is the closest location. We wanted to order an ice cream cake for an upcoming family birthday gathering. I had tried several times to submit my order online but it kept giving me error codes. I have successfully used their website many times in the past. I did make a complaint to corporate in hopes the problem will be addressed. So, the person on duty was Kristen. She was delightful and very helpful and began my order immediately. I told her I wasn't in a hurry and to help a few customers who were waiting. She did and we completed my order quickly. She was professional and considerate. Mariah, Mariah, Mariah! She helped us and she was so good! Her energy was light and bubbly and that customer service makes all the difference. I was hoping they had the flavor "Mom's makin' cookies" again but since they are still out I tried a few others. Mariah even made a concoction with toppings to mimic my favorite flavor that Baskin Robbins isn't serving right now. It was so good! The store is clean and looks remodeled. Honestly the workers were so kind but the reason I am giving this place 1 star is because it felt hotter inside than outside. It is over 100 degrees outside, I figured ice cream would help me cool off, instead I found myself profusely sweating and within 45 seconds my ice cream melted. I hope they have a walk in freezer in the back or something because I am truthfully worried about the workers and how they can operate for long shifts in that heat! I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and set the pick up time for 11:30 on the day of her birthday. The order process went OK the young girl seemed like she wasn't too interested in helping us. That should have been my sign to go somewhere else... The day comes to pick up the cake I walk in, I'm helped by another young lady who looks somewhat confused when I tell her I'm there to pick up my cake, she then informs me that there has been a "mix up" and that they don't have my cake. She then says the cake decorator would be in at 4 and I'm thinking well maybe I can just pick it up at a later time. She calls the cake decorator then comes over to me and says that we will refund you your money. What am I supposed to do with that? It's a few hours before I'm suppose to show up with a cake for my daughter. They could have called me the day prior to inform me that no cake decorator came in, so that I would have had time to get another one somewhere else. Poor management! Poor customer service. Make sure you and your employees stay on top of these things. Accidents happen yes but this could have been avoided had they checked their cake orders to make sure!! The only reason that I gave the two stars was for the older gentleman that was working on 7/19/21 at 9:15pm. We walked in and the gentleman was mopping and cleaning. The door said the store closed at 10 and so does the website. When we asked the rude little Mexican girl behind the counter she said they were closing because they are operating under winter hours. That should have been posted, if there are new hours. She did serve us but was very rude, made it obvious that she was trying to close and go home. More customers walked in after us and she sighed and rolled her eyes. With businesses hurting, you would think the extra business would be welcomed. Please train your employees or hire the ones with good customer service. The older gentleman was trying to help her and she was snapping at him too. Baskin Robbins will always be to me my first job ever filled with so many memories and with that, I will always go back to any BR for a sweet treat :-) During the fall/ Halloween season I always have at least one or two Trick Oreo Treat ice cream cones and of course pumpkin ice cream seriously does taste like a bite of pumpkin pie.. I always feel kinda bad for the kids working behind the counter during summer days and nights, because it always seems to be that they get so backed up with those rushes and I wish their manager would bite the bullet hire another closer to help out. But, it's still a nice, clean and big enough seating area for families. And the employees are all usually really nice and patient. :-) read more

Great service they had it ready for me when I walked in the door to pick it up! And with a smile! I've been going to this particular location now since around 2001. I get to know the employees and poof they are gone in 2 years as of course unless you own the establishment working here isn't a "career choice". I wanted to just say that in those years I've probably come here over 200-250+ times maybe more. Honest to god I've yet to have ONE Bad experience. They make your ice cream cone or sundae w respect to your hard earned $ and they always send me out smiling. I'll never ever stop frequenting here unless they leave or when I leave. Usually when I go to this store I have a good experience. However today when I went I was not satisfied. Kimberly was working, serving ice cream with a sour attitude. My daughter asked for a two scoop Sundae with hot fudge. Kimberly grumbled that she was out of hot fudge. What ice cream shop runs out of hot fudge??? She served up the weakest two scoops I've ever seen, put a little whipped cream on, and a cherry and proceed to charge me full price for a sundae!!! This place has TERRIBLE customer service. Every baskin robbins we've ever been to has been very accommodating for our son with celiacs disease, the ice cream is safe for him to eat if they use a designated scooper and open a fresh container. We've never had an issue. We even had one go out of their way to make him a gluten safe ice cream cake for his birthday! But this location was awful! I told her my son had a wheat allergy and asked if they could use a different scoop and open a new container and she said she could rinse off the scoop in the sink but she wouldn't use a clean one and wouldn't open a new container. Then another employee came up and said the new containers are too hard to scoop and they wouldn't do it. When I asked for the owner's card or name and number they said they didn't know and that "she didn't work here anymore". We gave up and left. Worst customer service ever. Plus the employees were a bit dingy looking so I think we dodged a cleanliness bullet anyway. But we left with a tearful 5 year old that didn't understand why he couldn't get ice cream at one of the few places he can safely eat at. Not cool. read more

Special ordered a birthday cake, serving 8-12 people. Went in store to order it four days in advance, didn't call on phone, was very specific about the colors of the rainbow that I wanted as frosting for the cake; yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, and green. Not too much to ask...even checked their cake book, showed girl taking order what I wanted to match; exactly what the picture showed in the cake book. What did I get when I picked it up 4 days later but green, blue, purple, red frosting but no orange or yellow. Looked more like a Jamician celebration...everyone even commented on that thought:) And for $28.99, that's a specialty order and needed to be treated like one. I got, "Well that's the best we can do". They should have told me that in the first place, that they had no yellow or orange frosting to make it a true rainbow. Never again...I wanted specialty and was treated like a run of the mill, could have saved me the time and just visited the store and bought something from out of the freezer case for all that I got from my specialty order. Wow, this business has found a new way to rip off their customers. When you order a triple scoop, they will charge you for a double and a single scoop. Guess when you are desperate, you will try anything! Make sure to watch your receipt when you go to this ice cream parlor! The service here is also the worst. There were 10 people in front of us last night and one of the workers was doing some sort of chore and not even helping the customers. This left one person to wait on a long line of customers! The scoop size at this place is always the smallest of any BR-31's in the area. Stay away from this place if you know what is best for you! read more
