They have ample indoor & outdoor seating but it is quite small inside so if you have a bigger group, it could get a bit cramped. Today, I decided to brave the drive-thru line - it was about 6 cars deep. Even with the long line, it moved really fast! I ordered a large Honey Vanilla with rainbow sprinkles (layered). I am pretty boring when it comes to ice cream --- I know what I like and I stick with it! Just because I am boring, doesn't mean you have to be too. They have different items to choose from --- cold brew shakes, smoothies, "outrageous cups," tea shakes, & last but not least - they have plant-based acai bowls. This Yogurtmill location was amazing. They have cute movies playing and games. I ordered the mango chamoy cup and it gave me Disneyland vibes. It was so refreshing and delicious and is a great summer treat. The worker Sarah who helped me was kind and polite not to mention helpful. Unfortunately we had very bad experiences three times now. The line is long but the menu is not visible until you need to order. Since it had a been years, the menu was updated and I needed a moment to take it in. I guess because I didnt have my order ready immediately, I was annoying the worker. She made it clear i was taking too long. The questions i asked were answered rudely. At the window, my yogurt was uncapped but the tip was very low. Compared to how it usually is tall. Maybe payback for taking 3 minutes to order instead of 30 seconds. The second visit i tried to rush my order as to not get bad service and a taller tower of yogurt, still a small mound...3rd time I was seriously trying to stay positive and again, skimpy portion and rude service. First time coming here and it did not disappoint! I finally found an actual FROYO spot in Modesto! Many options of toppings as well as the base, they have açaí bowls, smoothies, ice cream! They have a drive thru at this location which i thought was pretty cool! They were pretty busy and well staffed but it dos take kind of long to place order and receive it despite the fact that there were plenty of staff, the also work with doordash. I usually love the Yogurt Mill but they need to work on their customer service. They need to figure out a system for closing time. Most places serve people who are in line waiting. I know that summer gets busy but if you're not letting you're customers know that you will not be served after 10:35 when they were there at 10:05 in line, that's not ok. I just wasted 30 minutes waiting to get up to the window for them to say we won't serve you. You need to have a stopping point so that your customers can decide if they want to wait and possibly not get served. When I asked why they didn't come out and say this or put a sign up, they were rude and could care less. Not professional Yogurt Mill. Especially when you have loyal customers. I just left a review at one of the yogurt mills 3 days ago (they have 3 stores in Modesto). But I ordered from them today & 3 days ago and got my order through DoorDash. Today and 3 days ago they shorted my order with the same item. I got a swirl and 2 orders of the 2 scoop sugar cookie dough. And both times I got my order it was short one order of the Cooke dough. And with todays order they even wrote on the receipt "sorry, we only have chocolate chip left,"... they had the receipt in hand before packaging it and still got the order wrong. Specifically the girls in pink and orange. First we went through drive through. The girl repeatedly got what we asked for wrong. Then kept saying cupcake for a flavor. Girl the screen doesn't say cupcake so stop talking to us like we're dumb. One word answers from there. Couldn't figure out the gift card so passed us off. We got our receipt and items still was wrong. My husband went in to get the correct item. He stood in line and the same girls were talking badly about him and I. If you going to be irritated take it off the floor. We weren't going to say anything until that happened and he still never said anything while inside. Just got the correct yogurt and walked out..
