Went to Yogurt Mill tonight, ordered 4 smalls and then when we got home (which was across town), opened the bag to find that 3 of the 4 orders were made wrong. Called to see about getting them fixed and the only option was I was given was to drive back tonight (9pm) and to bring the messed up orders back. When asked if I could come back tomorrow, I was told no. Mia and Ashely were no help and didn't care that they messed up our orders. Definitely not going back to this location. read more

Specifically the girls in pink and orange. First we went through drive through. The girl repeatedly got what we asked for wrong. Then kept saying cupcake for a flavor. Girl the screen doesn't say cupcake so stop talking to us like we're dumb. One word answers from there. Couldn't figure out the gift card so passed us off. We got our receipt and items still was wrong. My husband went in to get the correct item. He stood in line and the same girls were talking badly about him and I. If you going to be irritated take it off the floor. We weren't going to say anything until that happened and he still never said anything while inside. Just got the correct yogurt and walked out.. Speak kindly and listen to the customers. Gossip isn't for you. That and you never know who is listening. We love YM but I won't deal with service like that. read more

Two stars because we LOVE Yogurt Mill. It is our go-to dessert spot in valley & a family favorite. You can't go wrong with the flavor and topping selections. We previously went to Oakdale exclusively but since moving Roseburg is now our "home store" and YIKES, the customer service is not there. There is little to no consistency in the product or experience you will get. We went last night & tonight and both of the experiences left our family questioning what is going on. A $10 (not exaggerating) strawberry cheesecake shake is not even filled to the top AND we watched the counter girl putting MAYBE one scoop of strawberries in which is why it's lacking flavor & color. We always order and request they put it in a larger cup, (which they've always done happily as long as we are in lobby, not drive thru). We also gladly pay for layered toppings. Tonight it was maybe a dime-size dollop of peanut butter sauce and Reese's CRUMBS. Other times we get the most happy worker who makes great products. They had me order and pay right when I got into the drive thru. It took 30 minutes for me to get to the window even though there could have been no more than 7 cars in front of me. When I get to the window I still had to wait for them to make my order. The girl read me back my order and after a couple minutes a guy had to come out and tell me that they didn't have everything I wanted. I had to pay in advance for something I didn't even get. I had time to write this review and still haven't received my order. Had I not already paid I would have just left. After we got home we discovered that they made the cups wrong. 30 mins , no blueberries, and they still got my order wrong. They have the best staff and the best froyo! They have some very vegan varieties and others that suit your dietary needs. They are nice to the consumer and are easy to deliver to people as well! Oh did I mention I got in line at 6:50. On this occasion I was unable to go inside as I had brought my dog with me and can't leave her in car alone. But even the line inside is long and slow. We happened to be in the area and we decided to have Yogurt Mill (YM). I love YM but I feel they might be getting too big for their britches. I ordered three kids and two minis with one having toppings. It came out to a whopping $17 and some change. Did the prices go up? I was floored. The part that really got me was the topping was 80 cents and the amount they put on the mini was pretty disappointing. Like I said, I love YM but it's getting a bit pricey and a bit more stingy. This is a very good yogurt place. Good quality food and handling the pandemic well. One thing I love about this place is that they have a drive thru! So you can order and pick up and during this time where everyone is being cautious and the staff is nice. Best tasting yogurt around and it is addicting, you can tell by the crowds. They do a good job at this location (I cannot say the same for the Turlock location ). But at this store, the staff tries to accommodate everyone. They are really fast if you do not go during the busiest times. Well done people at this store. I feel bad about the pre-teens who show up after school & just order samples, and ignore the sign (Cringe!) Still you handle that drama beautifully. I'm giving three stars because the yogurt is the best frozen yogurt I've ever had. However the service leaves a bad taste. Especially under the current circumstances. My mother is 72 years old and hasn't been able to leave the house for the past three weeks due to the shelter in place rule. All she wanted was to go for a drive and get a treat. So we went for a drive around the College neighborhood and look at the spring gardens. We decided to go through the Yogurt Mill drive thru. Yes, this is not an essential purchase but a little treat and supporting a local business seemed like an alright thing to do. We made our order and drove up to the window to pay. The employees were wearing masks and gloves, that's great. I handed the girl a $20 bill and she handed me back my change. She then proceeded to pick up cups rub her same gloved hands over the rim and bottom of the cups. I don't want that now germ exposed cup. Money is dirty all the time, not just in this particular moment with a deadly disease floating around. Okay, so I politely said excuse me, I would prefer to not have a cup that was touched with a soiled glove. She said "I'm not making the yogurts." She then walked to the other side where we could no longer see her. I am now annoyed. Anyway a different girl walked back with the order, bagged it and then handed it to us and with a not so swirly delicious tone said have a nice day. This is probably not the end of the world, but It is especially frustrating now. I have never cared for the service at the Yogurt Mill, the employees are always just a little bit rude. Wow it's been 7 years since my last review here. Sadly it's still a 1 star. If you are one of the crazed idiots in the Drive-Thru then you get quick service. Do not go inside or else you will be ignored for up to 10 minutes like I was today. All of the staff ignored the fact I was standing right in front of the register. They knew if they made eye contact - they would have to acknowledge me. Great job guys of ignoring me for 10 minutes! Like I said 7 years ago, the yogurt here is just plain frozen yogurt. If the customer service is bad, I'm done with the place. I honestly thought they would be better but if they don't want me there then I won't come. Not sure I understand why the drive thru is so slow. They have a very nice employee taking orders and payment in the line, much like Chick Fil A. They were out of the flavor we chose from the website, the girl (outside in heat) was so nice about it, we'll let that go. The 2 stars is because the wait is too long. 30 mins of watching people walk in and come out with their yogurt is frustrating when gas is $4 a gallon. What a cute little yogurt shop in Modesto! I went there last evening after a yummy sushi dinner because I had a bit of sweet tooth, which is of course not unusual. I had read such great reviews on Yelp so I decided to try it out. They have a drive through which I personally had never seen for a yogurt place. Cool! Inside is really tiny and is decorated in really bright happy colors. I didn't realize that their menu was as extensive as it was. I thought they only served yogurt. Silly me. They serve a plethora of coffee beverages and even some non-coffee drinks like chai tea latte and caramel apple cider. Sounds yummy. If it wasn't like 95 degrees outside I just might have tried one of those warm beverages. They have quite a nice selection of yogurt flavors. I settled on the heath bar crunch which was really good. I wonder if they ever have Oreo flavor? (Oreo was my fave at Tiger's Yogurt in Stockton when I went to UOP.) I made the mistake of ordering the second smallest size (I can't remember if it was called the mini or the small). It was huge! I should have ordered the child's size which appeared much more manageable. Mental note to self.... It was a fun way to end the evening and I will definitely be back for more. read more

They should have a few sorbet flavors that are daily staples to give us non yogurt lovers a choice of options. Service here is about as fake as it comes, even scripted. They definitely have a specific hiring practice with most workers being young cute girls who seem vacuous. If they mess your order up don't expect them to remedy it without some flak. Pricing is high considering what you're getting but there seems to be an endless line of customers. Be forewarned, this place gets very busy and the workers don't do well at multi tasking.
