I want to give last Saturday's crew kudos for the great work they did. We got to the restaurant around 1:30 and it was clear that there was a staff shortage. The tables were not cleared and my husband got a chance to use his skills at busing to clear one for us. The kid who waited on us was very sweet and a little stressed so we let him know we were in no rush so don't stress on us. Food arrived in a timely manner and was as usual amazing. Typically, someone will come by and refill our ice tea but it was clear that wasn't happening that day so my husband just went to the bar for refills. We survived! As the crowd lessen the staff made gains on the build up of dishes. I loved how they just worked hard yet remained friendly to everyone who entered but I was dying to help. The mom in me! I made a point to thank the girl behind the bar and she was so sweet. The owner is lucky to gave a great group working for him. I love going here and can't wait for Saturday.

He even remembers his "regulars" orders. The chicken salad is on special for a limited time, right now. It is pretty tasty. I usually don't like all the fixings inside chicken salad, but I like theirs. I can pick around the celery. We feel like welcomed guests and family when we dine here! We placed a takeout order for 2 sub sandwiches and picked them up approximately 10 minutes later. After getting home and unwrapping the sandwiches I noticed that my sandwich had not been made correctly. I had ordered a Club Sub which is supposed to have bacon and mayo on it and it had neither. I was not happy so, I called Jersey Mike's and complained to the assistant manager who stated I only had to get on their website and fill out their form and I would get a coupon emailed to me for a remake probably within 24 hours. The Jersey Mike's corporate office in New Jersey emailed me 2 days later making a point to say each Jersey Mike's is individually owned so, they really can't do anything other than send the info to the owner. Corporate asked me for the ticket # which of course I no longer had because the assistant manager did not tell me it was needed which I explained when I responded. I then received another email asking for the date of the order, method of purchase, last 4 digits of my credit card and the total amount of the purchase which I then gave them. Today I received another email thanking me for the info and they would forward it to the owner. Geez, Jersey Mikes......is this how it goes for your customers when your employee screws up an order? As well as being given misinformation from the assistant manager on the remake coupon process? A total of 5 emails and still no coupon and it's now a week later. I think we will order from Togos from now on to avoid the hassle. Their sandwiches are better anyway.
