You can't go inside and not be happy, its so bright and colorful. I love the decore and vibrant colors inside. The glass case filled with cupcakes is especially fun to look at and stare in wonder. The only problem is which one to pick? You might have to choose more than one. All the flavors look so good. I got the lemon drop because I love everything lemon and it didn't disappoint. The cupcake itself was so moist and soft, a real delite to eat. The frosting wasn't too sweet and over powering. It was a perfect complement to the cupcake. I can't wait to go back and try all the other flavors. Tbh probably the best cupcake I ever had. They have more than just cupcakes. The have 4 inch or 6 inch small cakes which I would love to try also. The have some cookies and cookie pops. They even have a cookie for your puppy. My daughter has been telling me all about Smallcakes! It's located next to Mr Taquito on Dale Road, across from the ampm gas station. After I picked up my daughter from school I took her here for a little treat. Super cute shop!! Very clean and organized inside. Everything looked amazing! I noticed they have a drive thru. The guy who took are order was very helpful. We got a 4 pack of cupcakes & a smoothie. Cupcakes were delicious. Perfectly moist and flavorful. I'm not really a sweet person but I enjoyed these cupcakes very much. I had the strawberry , my man had the Reese's & my daughter's had pink sugar . Smoothie was great! Very fresh tasting. Random adventure after the mall and it led me to Small Cakes. Sweets, coffee and friendly service is the typical thing to expect fromSmall Cakes. The cookies are soft like but firm. The Sinful Carmel cupcake is the cupcake I had. The bread is moist and soft and the icing didn't make my stomach hurt either so I appreciate that. Me and my husband went here and we decided to try their coffee. This place is super new to the area and I've been eyeing it, anticipating its opening. Today, I finally walked in to check it out but didn't/couldn't taste anything bc of the sugars due to my diabetes. It's super cute and super clean inside. They make cakes/cupcakes and puppy cakes for custom order as well. Since walking in, they had a lot of foot traffic at 1pm on a Friday. First things first, their cupcakes are sensational. The Wedding Cupcake is a favorite of my mother's and the best tasting cupcake she has ever had. As for gluten free, for myself, I adore their gluten free cupcake. Right now they just have vanilla cake, and a choice of gluten free frostings. But the texture of the GF cupcake is incredible. It does not feel like I'm eating something gluten free! They also have amazing precautions in place to ensure it's gluten free. They store them sealed individually! They are scrumptious!! I went in a few times already and normally when I come in there is a nice blonde and she is always giving good costumer service, When I went in I got a Peanut butter and chocolate, it was very good and moist, definitely coming here again. The place was very pretty inside, it has nice set ups in the front displays. I have been here before when there is another staff member she was rude and didn't care about what I wanted. She looked like she didn't want to be there. I'm wanting the owner to try and take constructive criticism, I know a couple of the staff I like when I come in but I think having another employee for you would help, especially a nicer employee. I was staying nearby on a work trip and cupcakes are always a hit at meetings so stopped by to pick up a selection. They're pricey but nice variety of options. I also appreciated that they had a couple savory breakfast options. This is not a place to make a large order and expect it to be ready quickly. Came here for a quick coffee and snack break. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean everything was. The workers were nice, friendly, and knowledgeable in the menu. I ordered the southern charm breakfast sandwich (not pictured) and it was delicious! The coffee was good I was expecting it to be super sweet but it was not overly sweet and had a nice coffee flavor. I got a chocolate cupcake (can't remember the exact name, but kinda triple chocolate) and the cake part was moist and the perfect density. It came in an adorable box, perfect for gifting. The frosting was not very chocolate. If I closed my eyes and ate it I wouldn't think it was chocolate, more like a plain buttercream. It had real chocolate shavings on top. I always like to try different places for coffee when I see one. Drove by this location and gave them a shot. The man working the drive thru was rude and not professional. I asked for a menu item, a "Decadent Peanut butter Latte", which is clearly written on their menu. Came up to the drive-thru and was told to wait one minute. I ended up waiting for 5 minutes and said "hello" as a reminder that I was still there. He proceeded to tell me that he was busy assisting another customer in an otherwise empty store. He responds back a few minutes later to take my order in a curt manner. This young man has very poor customer service. Keep him long enough and he can run the business to the ground before it can even prosper. Also, be mindful when you're paying. When I tapped my card on the screen display he immediately turned it around without giving me the option to tip or not. The red velvet cupcake was subpar--the frosting had a waxy, gritty, artificial flavor rather than the creamy cream cheese it's supposed to be. The people there seem friendly but the wait time is not acceptable. Make sure the person taking your order is professional and acts like they know what's going on. I do worry about the longevity of this place, especially as it pertains to ordering process and timeliness. If you can't crank out coffees faster you will lose those in a rush to get to work. The inside seems nice and clean. If you take too long people won't return. Hire another person and get it right from the jump. Otherwise this place will be close in 6 months. I stopped in on my way to work to get a coffee . I was hoping for a pastry or at least coffee cake maybe. Unfortunately they didn't have that, but they do have bagels and lots of delicious looking cupcakes. The small cakes and cookies are amazing, though. Each one is prettier and dripping with tastiness than the one before.
