The yogurt was good but the customer service was bad. They didn't give us the complete order which we didn't realize until we got home. We called right away and they didn't answer, we drove back and it was 11:01 and we knew they closed at 11 but we figured we will still get our order right. The girl was rude when we pulled up. Let me start by saying i have been a regular Yogurt mill customer since i was 10 years old(so 20 years). I came to the drive-thru tonight at about 9:55 p.m. so it was five minutes before closing. Waited the 5 minutes and kept asking if anyone was there. Received no response. I already had my 4 orders ready and did not need any time to review the board. As i pulled up to the window, they were cleaning and tried to wave me away. I asked one of the girls I thought you closed at 10 she said we did but we don't have our headsets in because it's 10:01 now. They were very rude so I drove off. I worked retail for over 10 years now and if anyone ever came into my shop at exactly ten we still serviced them. Very disappointed in my experience tonight. Let me start off with the fact that my complaint is not with the frozen yogurt - it's delicious, as always. However, I ordered through DoorDash, but their app lists the same flavors all the time. In the past I've had to change my order after placing it, so I thought I could call down to Yogurt Mill and ask. I've been to this specific location probably 7 times. The first couple were great however tonight I ordered 2 vanilla frozen yogurts with EXTRA hard shell and one other froyo, different flavor. Coming here is expensive. It was $20.60 for my order. On both there was just a drizzle of hard shell on top. Not that that's a huge deal. But when you don't like just plain vanilla and specifically ask for extra and pay so much for it...You should be able to receive something that's so easy to do. Very dissatisfied. read more

I used to really like yogurt mill, but the people who work there have ruined it for me with their "I could have less about the customer" attitudes. I went on Sunday night to get 2 kids yogurts, a small size yogurt, & a chunky monkey shake. My total was like $19. When I checked my receipt the damn shake cost 7.95! I got my yogurt pretty fast but I had to wait extra for my shake. Finally, the girl brings out a super small shake (probably like 12 oz). For almost $8 I don't even get the large size?!?! What a total rip off. I asked her for whip cream on it and she said she didn't have any (with attitude) -_- As I was driving home I was having a hard time drinking the shake so when I got home I opened the cup. There was huge chunks of banana and walnuts that weren't even blended. Like 1/2 pieces of walnut and a 1/4 of a whole banana. Cool that you used real ingredients but I ordered a BLENDED shake not a parfait. I ate part of it with a spoon then tossed the rest. Fix your speaker system on Oakdale Rd!!! That thing is obviously very outdated, and the employees always have a hard time hearing orders. It leads to long waits at the speaker, and incorrect orders. I was asked to repeat my order at least 3 times tonight, and still ended up with 1 of my yogurts missing a topping....Because they couldn't HEAR me! I swear, eventually they just give up & guess. I speak clearly and loudly, and the car in front me was having the same issue, so I know it's not just me! A functional speaker system would get customers through there faster & improve order accuracy. (Probably make the job more enjoyable for employees too!) read more

One star for location, as there are two in Modesto, and each have a drive-through, so even if you're just passing by or on a time crunch, you can still get your coffee or yogurt. One star for customer service, even though it is confusing with the three different cashiering stations. Quality of coffee is one star. They use real caramel here folks, not Torani. Even though they do not make their own whip (I'm destined to find someone other than Starbucks who does!) One star for price. The equiv of a Starbucks venti is only 3.95! I go to this Yogurt Mill (prefer it over the Roseburg location which is closer to my house) on my way to work every morning. I really enjoy the selection of frozen yogurts, and I highly recommend getting the mocha awake shake (extra thick!) if you want a delicious treat. Almost every employee I've encountered over the years (& hundreds of visits) has been cheerful and good-natured. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they often don't have the old world chocolate (the frozen yogurt used for the awake shake I prefer) up unless you get there at 7:45am or later., which is silly. read more

I have been going to the yogurt mill for years! I used to go to the one where you get to put your own toppings on yourself because I loved being able to put my own amount. Then I moved closer to the this one off oakdale rd. The staff is always so sweet but I am disappointed in on how my order comes out. Everytime I go I always order an XL(flavor) and add cookie dough. I ask to layer so of course that costs more and yes I am aware. But everytime I go to eat it....it's like there is barely any cookie dough. There is some staff that layer it very well that makes the price worth it. But unlike today and the time before...the staff member put barely 2 scoops in the middle and barely 3 scoops on top. Every other time I used to go they layered it a few times and put enough scoops to actually notice the layering. But this time it was like I paid for cookie dough and i didn't get any. I was really bummed out because I always look forward to the cookie dough part because I don't eat it all the time and that's why I go there! Oakdale Rd location - the double drive through is convenient but the speaker system doesn't work well and it's really freakin annoying to scream into it and hear an incomprehensible gurgle back. I typically get strawberries as my topping and the bowl, which always has a lid, is always an overflowing mess that is leaking in the bag. Every time I get a yogurt I have to go home and put it in another bowl just to eat it. On rare occasions I get cookie dough as a topping. Today, when asked if I wanted to layer it, I said yes. I paid extra for cookie dough to be layered into my yogurt so for whatever annoying reason they decided to only put 1 ball of cookie dough on top of my yogurt! Why did u pay extra if I got the same amount or maybe even less?!?! If I had looked in the bag and noticed before getting home, I would have asked for more cookie dough. read more

I have been going here for years and I have to say the best part is not the yogurt, but the customer service! Over the years, they have always had a very friendly and helpful staff. Even though I am from California I have been living somewhere else for the last few years, so I was not hip to the new yogurt trends. I did not know that really loud music and yogurt go together. This is a trend that I have seen at many yogurt places and I guess I like it! I like this store. It is clean the gals are always very friendly and the yogurt is great. I actually think that all yogurt is a bit on the "pricey" side, but I chose "moderate" because I think that as far as yogurt shops go the prices here are "moderate". I don't even want to give them 1 star- the owners scam their clients. We've been going here for 15 years and decided to buy $200 worth of gift cards for XMAS because if you spent $100 you would get $20 in bonus gift cards- anyways- right after December of 2018, the owners put up a sign saying that they are not able to accept gift cards at the Oakdale Rd location due to exciting new upgrades. First they said it was because they were updating their POS registers- it's the middle of March 2019 and they still haven't finished. They also have recently done this at their Roseburg square location also- I went there today and was given the news. They said goto their Pelandale location or out of town to Turlock, Ca. Obviously, the owners just have scammed everyone that bought their gift cards and are trying to drive business towards their slow stores. This is not cool- I bought my gift cards to use at the Oakdale Rd. store that's 1 mile from my home- I don't even mind going to the Roseburg Square location either, but now they're not taking there either. We spend a $100 a week at this Oakdale Rd location- that's why we bought the gift cards- just to have for convenience and get the bonus $20 gift card. This is so shady the way the owners are doing this after they took everyone's money for the gift cards they bought and then they don't honor them at the drive up stores- we have to go 30 minutes away now to use them. These owners don't even answer their corporate phone number- We have been calling since Jan, 2019- what a bunch of scammers. They take hard working people's money and then don't honor the gift cards where they bought them from. They don't even answer their phone. My husband and I think Yogurt Mill is just so delicious, and my kids agree. This location is currently remodeling their interior, so they are only accessible through drive through. Despite that, and the long lines, they were very fast. They let us take the time we needed to pick and order (we had 6 people), and they were very kind and explained the flavors well. If you "like" them on facebook, they will post their daily flavors so you know if you want to make a trip or not.
